I would slot it with Apocalypse being that is has the highest base damage of your abilities. But I haven't looked at the build to see if it's been used already.

Sentinel numbers are all virtually in the clear and not buried in a formula, so what you see in character creation is what they are. That said, check out this post. https://jsoneditoronline.org/ is an easy place to read that. I hear you also read it easy in Firefox.

Here's the data for an insta-snipe (assuming +0 mobs and no To Hit buffs) : Corruptor: (((MIN(MAX(((To_Hit - 0.75) / 0.22), -1), 1)) * 0.210526316) + 1) * 95.09 = 95.09 ...+3 = 75.07 Dominator: ((MIN(MAX(((To_Hit - 0.75) / 0.22), -1), 1) * 0.25) + 0.75) * 188.07 = 141.05 ...+3 = 94.03 Blaster: ((MIN(MAX(((To_Hit - 0.75) / 0.22), -1), 1) * 0.210526316) + 1) * 142.64 = 142.64 ...+3 = 112.61 Corruptors have it pretty bad. Doms are good but don't scale as well against higher levels.

This. The disintegrated targets do an AOE that has a 20% chance to trigger and hit 3 other targets with that listed damage.
-
Just take Clarion and move along?
-
Sentinel damage is acceptably adequate, the power creep on every other AT is high. So hopefully everyone else gets reigned into Sentinel levels and not Sents getting boosted, the game is too easy as it is.

To be clear, all of the badges from this can be obtained from Ouroboros. I found this out after I messed up my arcs and killed of Dr. Stafferd and couldn't continue. So if you're just after the badges, don't fret. Agent of Praetoria can be obtained from doing all of the Praetoria stories in the 10-14 range. Avid Reader can be obtained from Prometheus after doing incarnate content. Loyalist can be obtained from choosing Loyalist when prompted on a final mission. Resistance Member can be obtained from choosing Resistance when prompted on a final mission. Moral High Ground can be obtained from... I dunno. Answering them whatever way 5 times. It can be had, I promise.

I made one too out of morbid curiosity. Usually I start builds by dumping 6 slots in every attack and figuring out what goes where. This one I started with focusing on S/L defense and where I could eek some out. I got it up to 43% for S/L/F/C. I haven't dumped the numbers in the spreadsheet, but I'm sure they're abysmal with the poor choice of epic powers and focus on defense. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1446;686;1372;HEX;| |78DA65944B6F12511886CF5C6885424BEFA52D5090D2422932EA428DA689D636604| |9B02C5C12DA9ED2A90410F0B674E9CE6B4CAC3FC07ADBF92FBC2DD5EA4F509B98B8| |C58FF95E2809939067E63BE77DCF3BDF9943FACEB2F3DDEABD25A1F45F2AE66BB55| |C5696EA6649166DE97CC1DC14CDAB977E93AD7A6E3D5F2AC8ADF88A5995B98B24A9| |1F0D2DCB6D59AAC9F835B358AC946FCBAA7065CAE522CD2DECD08C82D37A5A93F90| |A3D8CB41EB664B5B66356721BB29E7758C56C45CA2DCFE58AB9196F7B2737652E4D| |ABC9EADD09CA334BBF7258E06AD8C44B5D08431723FBE02BE6C46B66E00DF89629E| |749A6585A4DF8E866CE2E8EF9C100D31164DE0863AA68E8CA07D6473F829FC0CFCC| |D817E636F96BF0D7E0AFC3BF07FE3DF0AF92BF0DEF618BA9A4B78BC022331467861| |3CC3943B5FCE7629AC59B61DE1FD2AABD7B34364CB95F3087F6796E81B2D8398B6E| |9F665DCC0BFA988B7E7086B9439A3E68FA4615ABE65CD1AC0CCE55A63BC51C4A321| |50AE2E22C9A2B4308EAA2FF2AB8CE746799EF23420CB0BF180809CBFF16BDCB20FA| |30F895FBB8F88D79E23B7800FE601A3F99BB947798FD94E143DDCA63FCE33195728| |D22D728D61F43BE31E49B443E8DE68EC367BC79E3A56FE824F744A7310F7AE2414F| |2657786C7A154C326752CCEB946B0A9A29687C18F341EB6B69AE30C7681D2F7AE38| |5E63EF5C68FDEF8CFF0BECE9CC5B7708E19390F5E0097D8EF396508421B7CC03D39| |FE107C043E66869E824F98F9289D35CEA2CE224BD80DFE65FF3DF29F677F31DFA04| |B6C906A016FB01010D66E8CD35BC5312B6ECD0A5225815E2716F81B30C069BD7DB6| |3581BD51B1672AF64CC75EEE469A67B979821A8DE891AEF948AB24BA2A4657E5545| |7E5745765ADAB92D1DBFF0B42B12A76379D7AAE347E396854E91CFDD3594935CFBE| |2E7E77CD3AECAC3CE39DFC0F74C2E4C1| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|

Apparently "the rest of the community" just forks over a build when demanded?
-
Nah, I like seeing people's new iterations on their build.
-
The entire "Offensive Opportunity" mechanic is iffy since it doesn't scale with you. The idea was that you match Scrapper damage when unenchanced. Which is nice, but once his 100 damage is now 200 damage and your 100 damage is 160 damage, it's much less nice.
-
Alright, I changed it all to work off a single sheet after giving it some thought. Doms don't really work like Sentinels in that there is an established secondary that is best for damage. Now, given that it's a single sheet and there are tons of mechanics to work with, I might have missed some. Blood Frenzy was quite a bitch to work out the way I wanted it to. If people could give it a look over and try to break the sheet and let me know what needs to be fixed that would be great. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10GVDAM2e7SPbRSKNC2PrcKENY00GPg7lfJ-re8GgHR0/edit?usp=sharing

I think you missed his point.
-
You built a horrible Sent then.
-
Yeah, it's a cone with a 90 degree arc and a 90 ft radius, but a 5 target cap. It'll hit most everything in front of you.
-
So you simply won't get the same results with the other pool powers with regards to sheer damage output. But output can be damned, we have a theme to work with. So with electricity in mind, you actually have Mu Mastery to work with as well. To maintain the same defenses, you would have to go with Electricity to get the set bonus from Blistering Cold in Havoc Punch. With regards to my spreadsheet, I'm not 100% sure on the damage output of Lightning Field. Now that I think about it, I probably have to fix it. Anyway, you can also take it and put in Avalanche for 2.5% more S/L defense, which you'll probably need if you want to take advantage of Lightning Field. Or you can also just proc it out, that stun from Energy Manipulator included, for what should be some pretty solid aoe dps. The stun would have a ~17% proc chance and can account for some defenses. For a similar rotational feel, you can go with Mu Mastery and get Electric Shackles and slot it the exact same way as Dominate. You'll have to slot Thunder Strike or Electrifying Fences in some manner to compensate for that 5% S/L defense. You can put Avalanche in Thunder Strike for 2.5%, which is better than nothing. You can just shrug it off and put Ragnarok in Electrifying Fences/Static Discharge for another 10% recharge. You can do a ton of stuff really. Those are just a few ideas. If you only want to wiggle out those 2 powers, the foundation is fairly solid.

That's basically how I use the sheet. I just make a duplicate of my intended set's sheet and then change whatever needs changing in it for my comparisons.
-
At that point it'd just be a worse version of Mid's that can track DPS better. I did consider it though, especially because if I wanted to put in drop downs for enhancements and set tracking, it requires a new page with enhancement data, per primary page, just to pull it off. If I do a page for each blast set it allows for comparison between sets.
-
Kind of. I have 90% of the ground work done. Primaries and Epics are done. It's based of Thorns as the Blast set. Before I flesh out the rest of the sheets and finalize everything, I was wondering if people wanted to take a look and give suggestions to add or change before I turn it into 11 separate sheets and I have to make those changes to all 11 sheets rather than just the 1. I'm considering make a "Rikti Pylon" mode where it will show the Pylons health and how long it would theoretically take to kill, then basing DPS of that. But that sounds like a massive circular formula. Here's the link. Make a copy on your google drive and fiddle around. All the purple highlighted blocks are blocks you should be making changes to. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GvmVqGQjTfpHxvAiUQQ5s48Eyop0xHTpcbG38XemVKs/edit?usp=sharing

Generally "make it work" with Energy is getting its knockback under control, which means losing 1 slot to KB>KD enhancements. If you're a pro with hover blasting and making it a knockdown on your own, have at. Obviously you won't be doing that with your AOE spells, so they're automatically a bust unless you're cool with pissing off your tank and most of everyone else. They might not say anything, but believe me, they don't like it. Here's my breakdown of secondaries. Ease of use: 1. SR 2. Invuln 3. Ninja 4. Energy SR is as easy as they come to work with, especially with Master Brawler. Invuln is the next easiest, and it's very set and forget. Ninja has a handful of superfluous powers if you want to squeeze in more pools/epics. Energy is fairly simple to cap out and has a pretty nice End reduction in it's heal. The downside is you have to use your heal when you don't need to. Extra damage: 1. Bio 2. Fire 3. Radiation Bio is the undisputed king of damage dealing. You can cap out your defenses with some work and still theoretically push out more damage than other secondaries. Fire is in the same boat with chasing defenses, and would have more resists to boot. Just deals less damage. Radiation has mountains of resists and regeneration, and has second build up ability for more damage. And a nice AOE/ally heal. My qualm is that it's very click heavy. I don't use them: WP Ice Regen I have never once used these. Resist based, but probably work just fine: Dark Electric I've used dark, and it's similar to Electric. Very resist based. With a concentrated effort you could resist cap it, but you would lose a bit of damage on an already damage handicapped set.

You know I lean heavily on what my spreadsheet tells me. I haven't spent nearly a year on it to not use it. So, admittedly, I don't slot Hydro Blast for procs because I need somewhere to mule the WIO ranged set. BUT! Let's see what the spreadsheet says if I just slotted either of them for procs instead of muling them lol. Mind you this is breaking my defense cap and being lazy, so set bonuses might not be 100% accurate, everything else will be. I'm keeping the Apocalypse proc in Water Jet. That leaves 3 damaging procs for Hydro Blast. I'm going to slot the PvP set for the 4-slot 2.5% damage bonus because nothing else is appealing. Same goes for Aqua Bolt, 3 procs, going with the 4-slot for 2.5% damage. Rikti Pylon for fairness sake with regards to resists. Aqua Bolt 301.93 Hydro Blast 299.36 294.93 for Aqua Bolt if I just mule it. The build I have up top is what I'll call my "final" Water/SR build after multiple iterations, though I'm looking at it now and wondering where I can fit the Unbreakable Guard unique in. It's far from necessary, but whatevs.

Doesn't matter that much. Same sets are used. Oldskool is usually more hospitable than I am, you'll have to forgive him. Skip Hydro Blast, it's slow and doesn't do the damage to justify it. Dehydrate is neither a good heal, nor a potent damage ability baseline. It's only useful with procs, really. You should be taking Water Jet because what else are you spending Tidal Power on? A very weak heal? Geyser every 29 seconds? Water Burst that gets a whopping 11.89 damage added to it? You Build Up adds 25% damage as Water Blast, but it adds 3 Tidal Power. It's a core mechanic to the set. 3 Tidal power only adds 15.4 damage Geyser. I mean yeah it's nice when it's saturated on 10 targets, but that's not exactly an optimal use for it. I'm not one for slotting over 45% defense, but if that's what you want, then do you. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1451;696;1392;HEX;| |78DA6594CB4F135114C6EF746E81B6500AA53CFB020A7D32B4EAD2C444118248426| |8220B1FB596DB5A33B68462024BFF0A37AE8DF85ABB752FEAD2E74EE31330F10FA8| |67E63B36359D74F2EB7CF77EE7DC73EEDC59DD5DE87DB674F78CD0BCE7CC62A351C| |8ABDA4EB5A64CE76AB1522D09EBEAA67BE29F5E582FD62A6AD3D828EEA8EDC259F2| |EC445A630BAAAC6A0D65E4EF6CD1E0BA2A9B6A573544DF5ABD6E1A8BD5CA4D9A56F| |1E0C9B41EDDF6FFFC96529B8390EBDB2555A8970B1B55D31C3BBF552D19ADE86B8D| |6A6195F2A9EDBD515AD20CDDC184E0ABE9140FA51039291CFBCC47A07CCC7C02763| |D052F5B5ECDF64AB1A893E612B12530BE0CA62E809915DDF684136CA17CDA6982D4| |45D773618FF57CC51CB7C3093EA09921297AF71C42F8A5B8425E9DF3E99CAF87F36| |5385F86F3CD05343B46843C4ECEE7E47CBD19E4F1727CEF81C37EF68D42F7BD40BE| |68025B475ED1BD8F39574973610D0ED71172CD1F33FFC03F49733C9CD3F316BD1A7| |CC77C0F0E7D607E02873F82D7C8DBC7DEBE6F8837FD9DF983F9138CFD621E8245F2| |F6636DA23F2AEC354D9136C0F106320E5B1BCE82A3F34C031CCFA1C671EECB75F2F| |AB9563FF773CEADA1562FA8518302DCA340932EA19332C2AE9111440A9EE0CE84F0| |3C4D91C7785563BC2B417E0BC2BCFB61DE9570976E7BA2BC2B37C83BC1554ECCC12| |329678873867C58597C48FBEF4D88912F829C32F212DD8E1E305F8193AF996FC012| |79A638EE14C7C9710772DC81CF499C242BEECC2C3A391B67269829309E464D5FC89| |3E0FA134BD092CBCC227A94BC8D7C297E5B53F7697A5C0A17D59AE68EA7794D1ED2| |0CEE8931C93B4F5A169A964DA34F396650B64E3DFDAC5DBB95B4CE72BFA534531DA| |3D90E25D7A19CEC504E75281765EB8B41C708F5AEC9D6174168F62C978FCE3994E6| |A19B46B5F6D1E376E512EA3FEA98F5BB5DB9874C7F011A9EE5A7| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|

A few posts down someone asked about Water/Energy. Look at my reply to it, apply my wisdom to your build. The slotting will essentially be the same.

Dark is an exceptionally middling set, but it's far from the worst.
