25 would be as useless as 10, or 5. Fold space, a pool power has a 100' radius. Black Hole, when converted to this trawl thing that seems to want to compete with Fold Space, has a miniscule radius. and it is a Tier 8 power. The only reason I have to Trawl, is to Nuke. Blackstar has a 25' radius. Why do I want to slow down the nuking process to gather 0 more enemies? and possibly intangible some of them? If anyone can answer those two questions I might give this thing another....heh.....no no no no no

I am frankenslotting my corr ATO sets 3/3/3/3. Although, i actually put 3/3 in the nuke and have the other two 3s in two different sets. I am oushing range for my cones. Dark has a lot of cones including the beautiful fear cone. When not nuking i joist out and AoE cone everything. The to hit debuffs in each cone, even when the DPS is minor, it just is solid. the build is quite frankenslotted to get +range bonuses and then pump good values. Not “worried” about chasing many things like softcap def or a “perfect” rech number. Just decent set bonuses that help, great values on what the powers do, and lots of range. Dark Dark Corr is already a powerhouse. I just need to enhance it. The added range is the one way i have seen that stands out as a way to make it more effective. I will, of course, take intuition alpha for +20% range / +33% dam

Well, I have had exactly one college science course (Intro to Sci for Sci majors, netted a B) but I will offer an opinion (of course!) Without reading anything on the subject but the bumper sticker "we are in a black hole": If we are living in a Black Hole. Then that explains the "Big Bang" where all the material came from. And all the energy to propel it across our universe to the far reaches of many galaxies. Yes, Black Hole, while previously useful for grabbing glowies and very rare team saves, is now MUST SKIP Appreciate you taking the time to unstick me!

I agree totally. Until …. Mission objectives suck in CoH. Especially Blue. Gold can sometimes be s pain do to so fancy. Redside, bestside, can still be a challenge. But blue? Major suckage. no one uses LFG function, except when a team is formed. Or to teleport to contact. We use LFG game channel to advertise. I play with Justice Superteamers Friday and Sunday on Excelsior. They welcome all players. We use Discord to organize and chat. At least listening will help, but not required. can't answer if a troll, but anything that cannot be trawled, grey, minion, AV w/e is intangible under current reality

"working as intended" it "hits" everything. but if you are a "weird" target like DE emanators DE Swarm, Carnie Strongmen, or other randos (even if minion/grey) will go intangible. Then it does not help me gather for Nuke. Why did i even try it?

at level 39 on my Dark Dark Corr i am respeccing out of Black Hole the final sad straw is (on top of the random intang on odd minions) the trawl is virtually useless. the AoE on the Trawl is less than the AoE on Dark's Nuke... so ... wtf use is this?

This is an interesting take on “stand off” sets. Which is a very effective strategy in the game. Rather than being actually physically separated, you create a variety of effects right around you so that anyone coming in is facing a hellaciously bad uphill fight. I do this with my Dark Dark Dark Corruptor using tar patch, aoe stun, to hit debuffs, etc. other sets and ATs can really be more effective at this, i just do the best i can with my concept toon.
