in one of my SGs the leader was deactivated after being offline. no new leader was promoted and there does not seem to be a way to promote a new leader. chaos!

I have had great luck with a Fire/Fire/Fire Blaster in high end late game content. I swear I tank with this thing half the time. I mean, when stuff is dead, you do not need much armor. I have joined a Fire Farm with a couple Brutes and a Tank. In that I regularly jumped ahead to fresh spawns to nuke. Never died. I have run in 4 star LFTG to get the bonk. there were deaths, but he performed well. I am over 100 vet levels in and badging. The thing is a powerhouse. I run a lot of content at 4/8. Granted, I do not solo that. But I could see it. With more planning and careful inspiration. Also, the build and incarnate choices are all about front loaded damage. I ran a lot of Brutes back in the day. I held many a tough room l. Some epic times. Now, I sort of do the same on Blasters. But you have to flow so much faster lolol

Keep blazing bolt. There are great sets that run a couple million per piece. I would just use those and 5/6 set them. If you run a few summer block buster that will give you some overwhelming force to throw in. Great for powers that do knockback. Just use OF KBtoKD

I think Dark Dark reaches its ultimate on the Brute. It is easier to be survivable on the Tank but achievable on the Brute. Like almost same survivability. Then there is the fact that the Dark Armor “Tanks” really poorly. Not in survivability, but in design. Part of the survivability of Dark is the stealth field. In survivability Def>Res>Heal. Dark literally stands this on its head. No defense or nearly none. No defenses debuff resistance so worthless to build. Instead Stealth, two toggles that do crowd control, massive to hit debuffs, and the best heal in the game. But that stealth, non suppressed stealth. Bad from a Tanker perspective. Great on a Brute this same statement will apply to Savage / Dark play to Dark's strengths and be stronger, or twist it like taffy to make it invulnerability. but in that case just take invulnerability.

As was pointed out “Fast Snipe” activates in combat. This changes Snipe by lowering damage, lowering range, and having a normal cast. if Fast Snipe is active there is a circle around Snipe power button ”Normal Snipe” has the very longe activation period, long range, and really big damage. It is NOT usable “ in combat” (if you are attacked or have been attacking in the last couple seconds). it would be easy to complain about this. Except this is the upgrade lol. Back in the day (when we walked to school uphill both ways in the snow, on our hands). There was NO fast snipe. The power was only useful out of combat. Then it was gone from your attack chain. And it is a GOOD part of a ranged DPS chain.
