I am almost certain (but i have old vampire brain) that i was told previously that boost range will not affect cone proc chances. But it is probably. But it is a edge case in the grand scheme of the data. I run a lot of cones and can get significant global +range bonuses and sometimes alpha incarnate +range. But i may be smooshing two things together in my head

is this a proc thing or is something going on? in all seriousness i hope things are well for you.

To add one little thing. I am not a proc person but i LOVE cones. As i understand it the chance of something procing is based partially on the area. Also, according to my limited understanding for cones this is based on arc. But you can extend the range on the cone, creating a larger footprint and not affect the proc calculation. At least as i poorly understand the situation

or the power having a resistance to being accuracy debuffed, so become more useful. but that is nearly the same as auto hit i guess, which is prob easier to code....

Just skimming over this…. you do realize that, to achieve a goal you have not really explained needs to be achieved, you want to change this powerset, change other power sets, add new enhancement sets, change how enhancement sets work and various other hack/slash remedies? so, any chance you explain why Presence needs to be changed?

Technically i do agree. Except for the price I am a dirty casual at heart. I love alts. Investing a non refundable exorbitant fee into a few days/weeks gaming is stupid. for new players who do not have access to billions the devs have effectively said “ no, wait until you get good. Then you might get this”. it flat out stinks. And i have seen enough sewers to know what that smell is

Nope. Nice try. No sale. if (and it is a BIG if) i bought something like this, for a certain concept, it would need to be persistent through death. Because….concept. So, to recap, the only way i would buy this is for a concept i love. That when it falls in battle reverts to a different size. Any ideas what in the hell does that?

you were a carry on that team acting like a dps. probably should have stayed tight to the Tank and thrown debuffs/buffs/heals.

you are on the right track, asking questions, looking around. remember for tough solo missions you can use temp powers (even temp pets!) many are available from P2W

In my opinion you need a character you love. Love the concept, the archetype, the powers. When i started i loved Brutes. Now it is Blasters. If you create a character you have a deep attachment to then you will enjoy the game. If you build based on “what us best” probably not….

I am straining my brain trying to think of a similar creature in CoH. I cannot think of one. Anyways, Happy Halloween!
