  1. I think this would be the easier approach, it may not cover all the bases in your outlined idea @MsSmart, but with the limited Dev resources, I think that this is a great/workable idea.
  2. I think that the same blue generic animation is a bit dated, and I understand the dev resources to implement this are a bit excessive, but perhaps like the teleport shoots a glowing yellow ball of energy when you use the LTR, or black smoke, or something that's a little more interesting than the generic power. Now, technically you won't see it too much but it's still a thematic element I would love to enjoy.
  3. This was fixed actually! Proof the Devs read the forums, and I'm so glad that this change was implemented! Even if you miss the power now, it will still grant the regen/recovery bonus. (i27 update)
  4. My thoughts were more along the lines of "create more things that are similar to ITF/LGTF/MLTF/LRSF" that are new and interesting end-game content, rather than extraneously difficult challenges, but I think there's a market for both. However at this point, I don't think most people care about the distinction in difficulty, they just want to enjoy their character's fullest potential and have fun with that rather than have content that makes you exemp down. I'd take content for 50 in any capacity that it's offered at this point.
  5. My vote has always been just more endgame content, that's probably been stated in this forum 6x over by people, but it's true. Many players feel like that the new stuff is cool, like with the new powersets and costume changes, and we all greatly appreciate that. More end-game content in the form of Task Forces/iTrials or group events that encourage community chatting and meeting is always a net positive, we've gotten several content updates for lower content and unfortunately it just feels like "well, I'm 50 now, so I guess this is just another Ouro arc." For others who go 1-50, this obviously isn't the case, but there are a lot of people that are underrepresented on the forums who play at 50 and just enjoy having the scope of their powers.
  6. I can get behind this definitely, introduces more variety more than just the usual guns/beams perspective!
  7. Personally, I would really like some very interesting weird hybrid sort of a Warshade/Fortunata, dark ethereal mental powers, so I could really call her the "Black Widow." I know I know, very fruitcake idea but why the hell not?
  8. Hello, so I was crafting probably over 30+ purple recipes and a thought occurred to me: wouldn't this be so much nicer if there was some kind of a prompt or a link to the salvage in the recipes allowing us to quickly craft that recipe? EX: I need to get Pangean Soil for Apocalypse: Chance for Negative Energy Damage recipe, you click the salvage listed on that recipe, and it brings up the AH and the salvage item for you, and displays the price for that item so you can bid on it more quickly than searching-item-by-item for each salvage manually.
  9. I'm just going to say it, these TA changes are horrible. Sorry, I know you've worked hard on it, and I get that, but seriously not every single set has to be a carbon-copy of one another. Absolutely no one asked for Oil Slick Arrow, nor wanted it honestly. A lot of people are very unhappy that these sets are being toyed with to try to force people into a playstyle that they never wanted or asked for. You are way over-nerfing TA as a set, and you are not providing bonuses to make up for it, and a lot of people are extremely dissatisfied with these changes. Let's list all of the nerfs: Removing the hold to being only on robots and turning ESD Arrow into a stun-only power without additional improvement onto its CCing capability. Giving TA a worse variation of Oil Slick than even the defender version that can't accept defense debuff enhancements or procs. Making it so Gymnastics and CJ don't combine to give you additional fun bungee jumping. This IMO is one of the most "wtf" ones, this is directly what a lot of people have a lot of fun with, hopping around and enjoying the game. Why did THAT need to be nerfed? Upshot is radically nerfed from 100% damage to 81.5% damage, 30% tohit to 15% to hit, and 30% recharge to 15% recharge. Seriously? Even Chronos has 20% tohit left on its BU power, the 30 to 15 is ridiculous. If you're going to increase the recharge on Ice Arrow, then at bare minimum reduce the cast rate on it. 1.67s is mid-high for hold casts, 1.33s or 1.1s would make the recharge being upped not so bad but you've just hit this set too much. As for upping the endurance cost of the ST immobilize, this is again stupid to me. Why? Because you're putting this power into a box that it's not in. The power has faster cast times than other ST immobilizes, therefore consumes more endurance faster than other powers. Seriously rethink these changes, many people are severely disaffected by them and lots of people are talking about shelfing their Archery/TA Blasters.
  10. Was thinking more it took place in those areas, specifically NW/FW but really anywhere and you could exemp down at any level (sort of like Lady Grey's RWZ TF) where it is co-op.
  11. Praetorian Task Forces would be excellent!
  12. I'd really appreciate it if for the future there was a current live-version of the server, but on a beta platform for testing purposes and making direct 1:1 comparisons for set redesigns and changes. For example, as it is on live, I may not have a completely directed character with Energy Melee pre-change with the current variation to compare and contrast what I do or do not like about the set and my overall impressions/feedback.
  13. As someone with hundreds of alts, this LTR idea is good in theory, terrible in execution for how grindy and annoying it would be to have to get the badges for *every single zone* that the alt uses, and it would likely lead me to be discouraged from making new characters knowing I'd have to redo this process all over again, which would inevitably burn me out from playing a limited number of combinations. Also, I'm sick of the toxicity of some forum posters on here. Everyone has a voice and an opinion, and bashing others for their opinions is blatantly rude and uncalled for.
  14. I'm absolutely stoked about the fact you're taking this suggestion seriously! I've been wanting to make a few wizard/sorceress characters that have a more "magical" battle theme 🙂!!! woohoo! Thank you ❤️ I know, no guarantees but still, just the fact that ideas like this are given some credit makes me overjoyed!
  15. So, there are certain powers that provide a stealth, but you may not necessarily want that stealth (Steamy Mist, Cloak of Darkness, Artic Fog, Shadow Fall) but want the gameplay bonuses it provides in terms of defense/resistance. Now personally, I'd love to just toggle the hide effects on/off for group play and when I'd need it, but I think a great solution that provides a reasonable "cost" to deny these powers would be to create sort of like a KB->KD type of IO that reduces the stealth bonuses to 0 and dissipates the "hollow-y" effects on your character designs so you can see it properly whilst retaining the bonuses of the power.
  16. I've said this before somewhere but Stone Armor has some critical flaws: - Underperforming at low levels (capstone Granite really is the night-and-day turnaround of the set) - Stone armor is limited only toward being a solid boring boulder-y appearance. That's fine and all, but it would be excellent if we had say magma, crystalline, etc. variations of Granite armor for a lot more interesting flavor. - The complete essence of this set invalidates itself in the current state of the game. 2 of those 3 are fixable, you could tweak the early level armor numbers to make something playable without Granite, you could of course add additional appearances to Granite for a lot more flavor, but the third pigeonholes the existence of this set. Tankers need to not just be able to keep up with the team, they need to lead the team. They need to take the aggro. They have to be fast, that is something paramount to the core of the Tanker, a slow Tanker who just doesn't keep up group-to-group is of no use to that team for its functional role. Now, taking teleports alleviates a decent amount of the pain in this, but teleport itself is extremely wonky, slow, and definitely has major downsides in say cave maps, you're still likely going to be much slower than the team as a whole and that's if you didn't find teleport to be annoying to work with from the get-go. No matter how you sliced that, Granite paid the ultimate price for its sturdiness. It's like you're given a Ferrari but the car can never accept any gas to be able to drive it. What good is the car functionally from that point on? Sure it has some uses at shows, you could liquidate the car, etc. but you can never use it for its intended purpose of driving it.
  17. Given the hyper-partisan climate, virtually *everything* is on the table now to be considered controversial, even things that I didn't think were remotely contested seem in 2020 to be highly divisive. Scientific facts, religion, even k-pop fandoms seem to be all the rage to dissect people into "left-wing" and "right-wing" categories. It's rather unfortunate that this has become a reality and I hope the understanding that we are all humans, we all bleed red, and we are all related to one another prevails in the end. I recommend avoiding obvious hot-button topics and not engaging with "political trolling" as I'm sure has been evidence vicariously in the Global channel and reporting those who impose derogatory and extremist views on others.
  18. 1. Make the crab backpack optional and give alternative animations for the backpack that are still theme-fitting, or at *very least* acknowledge that multiple possibly crab origins for things like magic and give more designs for the crab backpacks. 2. Give Banes/Night Widows a special ATO (I think Fortunatas/Crabs are good enough as is but B/NW need a boost) that functions as a replica of the Stalker ATO's so they can re-hide and be comparable to Stalkers even though they still are not given the same tools. 3. Buttcapes for men! 4. No redraw options.
  19. I do not think nerfing a set relative to competitors "encourages diversity" in this context. The set's established goal was to trade all other forms of advantage between other sets and Fire Blast as an opportunity to gain more damage in overtime effects. Having this advantage decreased only leads to less people playing the set and the AT as a whole. While Fire Blast is the most played blast set, it is by no means in a super-majority, it is still in a minority in comparison to all other blast sets chosen, therefore I conclude that there still is encouraged diversity to play other sets than Fire Blast even in context of the blaster's viewpoint. No one should feel forced to choose a set, and it's obvious that most blasters even now, do not feel inclined to choose a specific set by their statistics. Moreover, I think the general feeling of Sentinels (notable exception to Sonic Blast and some other sets) being shortchanged overall compared to their Blaster variations making less palpable sets overall have a worse feeling on this AT that is already at a distinguished perceptual feeling of dissatisfaction. Key powers were outright replaced with some variations that most deem lackluster, and in some cases disastrous alternatives. Regardless of how you or I are aware Sentinels can be tweaked to become decent alternative characters, that is not the general feel of a current Sentinel for many users. Even so, where we gauge how good a set is in relativity to the other sets. Simply put, no set is truly "amazing" by pure definition of being "amazing" it is only the perception that it performs better than competitors.
  20. IH should be a toggle. It would differentiate the set and give its namesake as the "Regenerative" set that would set it apart without being "OP."
  21. Guessing the "Sonic" damage is a typo @Jimmy? 😄
  22. This is my issue when people point so quickly to TW as overpowered, and quite frankly, I will grant it is... but hear me out... the other options truly aren't that much better. Fiery Melee should for all intents and purposes do the highest damage whether in AoE or ST because it literally has no other benefit attached to it. And yet... it is maybe mid-tier once procs are factored in, has horrible mitigations, and honestly not great AoE. EM and Kinetic Melee suffer similar problems with EM obviously suffering more (but will likely have a buff soon) KM is likely to still stay a bottom-tier set and not have any attention shined on it. MA has some nice things going for it with the +def power, but beyond that its single target damage isn't the highest even factoring out TW and has terrible AoE. Staff is weak damage, has some nice tools but still weaker damage. Electric Melee was once thought of as a great set, but now its horrific ST and LR being duped by Savage's Leap with less than half the recharge makes this set pretty unattractive comparatively. There are still some decent melee options, but there are some serious flaws with the competition that should be addressed first imo. I think people are very quick to point TW as an overperformer (rightfully so) but people do not spend enough time recognizing that a perfect golden apple amongst a garden of some decent apples and fouling brown apples is going to be salient in comparison.
  23. There would need to be some power adjustments (particularly AAO), that said I think this is one of the things that I'd agree with you that could be done. I wouldn't say it is of the highest priority right now, but I think it should be on the radar.
  24. I've got to agree with @ShardWarrior, I understand the sentiment but ultimately this sounds like broad sword with some mixed martial arts rather than an actual "heroic blade" set. As you listed before, we have Katana, Broad Sword, Dual Blades, and lots of Titan Weapons options that feature blades, even lots of Claws options are blades. I think honestly the "blade" fantasy has been captured and there are other themes that are currently lacking (a natural/technologically-based control set, "earth"-like blasts, air controls, sonic armors, etc. that are a bit more unexplored.)
  25. Has been an idea of mine as well for awhile. +1 Would love to see "Dominate", "Indomitable Will", "Link Minds", "Mind Over Body" as available options. Maybe not all at once, but those are some stand-outs I'd love to see.
