No costume at the moment... I've been busy with life & work stuff but hope to be getting into some new character ideas over the next few days. Here are some of the names I've been squatting on that I'm hoping to come up with some designs for: (ATs and powers subject to change)

😘 I don't want comments or winning weeks... but I would like to see support for this idea in hopes of maybe one day seeing it realized.

Dude... I did this awhile back.

Just me on this one, huh?

Can't believe this name was available on Torchbearer... Flamedancer Dual Blades / Fiery Aura Scrapper The blazing path aura looks a little too orange (or a little too yellow if I'd shifted it down once on the color palette), but looks better once the fire shield is active.

Nice design.

Lightwand Just a thought, because the Blackwand prestige power never really appealed to me for most characters, but how about an additional option that is essentially the Blackwand power recolored with a bright crystal that shoots a ray of light (deals Energy damage instead of Negative). Have it be origin/non-origin specific so that it excludes the other option for choosing Blackwand or Nemesis Staff. You could still only have three of the prestige attack powers, but it would present a thematic alternative to choosing a blast of darkness. EMP Mace A tech-alternative to the Ghost Slaying Axe / Sands of Mu pairing... the EMP Mace would use the same kind of damage formula (single target damage +bonus damage to specific enemy type). However, instead of dealing bonus damage to spirits and other (true) undead, the EMP Mace would deal its extra damage to mechanical beings. However, like the limitation on the Ghost Slaying Axe not affecting Vahzilok, maybe let the traditional Clockwork be immune to the effect because of their special psionic nature preventing the EMP from wreaking havoc on their minds. Like the Lightwand, selecting the EMP Mace would count against the number of prestige attacks you choose. The list would be: Blackwand (origin bonus/no origin bonus) Lightwand (origin bonus/no origin bonus) Nemesis Staff (origin bonus/no origin bonus) EMP Mace Ghost Slaying Axe Sands of Mu You could still only select of them, but only one of them with the origin bonus with increased damage.

P2W temp powers, suggested permanence
Player2 replied to TrueBornTyrant's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Maybe we could make a new Pool power set with some of the combat temps. Then we could slot them for accuracy, damage, knockback, range, or whatever. Street Violence P1: Louisville Slugger P2: Sledgehammer P3: Pistol P4: the self heal P5: the Recovery boost -

Nose Goblin Water Blast / Radiation Emission Corruptor You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose... but you really shouldn't let this guy do either for you.

You can launch fireworks at anytime with emotes. Just /e FireworkBloom, FireworkRocket, and/or FireworkSparkle for three different fireworks effects.

Nice color scheme... which has inspired me to make another bee-themed character, this time a teen hero: Blaster Bee Dual Pistols / Temporal Manipulation Blaster

"Look ma, no hands!" option for psi/mind

Imagine swinging a pair of Blackwands around as a Dual Blades option. You're cutting and stabbing with dark magic! (or the gem itself)

I have a villain named 2020 (the evil opposite of Baby New Year for that year) that will be happy to hear that... as long as the ransom isn't paid. -
Not sure how I feel about the blue/orange color scheme with purple hat... but overall the design has potential, and the name is inspired.

"Look ma, no hands!" option for psi/mind
Player2 replied to Greycat's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Absolutely. I see people complain about the lack of animation in some sets and praise for things like Dual Pistols because it makes them feel like they're doing more in combat, ducking and weaving and whatever... but a mentalist (even in melee) should really be a minimalist with regard to action. I mean, I guess I could see both sides of the argument. Some may want their psi characters to just be spellcasters wielding mental magic and like the idea of waving their arms about or pointing at their targets... others may fancy themselves wielding something akin to the Force like jedi masters and want the character to move in ways as if directing that psychic "Force" at their foes. But the idea of standing still and concentrating your thoughts alone on the attack is equally valid. I'd like a character who's attack animation is essentially the villain stance 2 emote (standing straight with arms crossed over chest) while a psychic fist appears and clobbers my enemies. -
Beautiful design.

My latest idea for a Melee/Buff AT and Why It Won't Work
Player2 replied to Wavicle's topic in General Discussion
I have a melee / support character because I felt it was fun doing something different... supporting and kicking. Of course, I also used to try to play the old AD&D 2nd Edition game to make characters that defied conventional roles because I disliked how multiclassing / dual classing worked. 3rd Edition was when all the old rules on what was expected of characters by class was thrown out and you could focus on concept over role. My melee / support is a Martial Arts / Willpower scrapper (named Health Kick), and leans heavily on both the Medicine and Experimentation pools (along with Day Jobs powers) to provide healing, rezzing, and a couple buffs... along with the addition of a third rez option from the P2W Vendor so to make up for the slower recharge times of rez compared to traditional support pools, two single target ally heals and a Regen/Recovery/Resist buff, plus the dual function of buff or debuff from the Injection power. Currently level 33 and very fun to play, although I wish I had other options to work with. It looks like my next option to buff would be in the Concealment pool with the Grant Invisibility power, and that doesn't really fit with my character's field medic theme. -

2020 will still be accessible from Ouroboros... and I wouldn't be surprised if some villains took advantage of that to unleash hell on the future.
