  1. I would not mind that at all. But, on the other hand... why not both?
  2. Sorry, the contents of my brain are ever expanding. And thank you. I feel a good name is very important to the whole process. You can. You need to use the correct tailor contact to change gender. On the hero side, I believe they're the ones shown as Cosmetic Surgeon. Not sure what the villain side calls them.
  3. Pastmaster Water Blast / Temporal Manipulation Blaster
  4. I'd also like to see the Ghost Slaying Axe made available as an option for Battle Axe, and both the Blackwand and Nemesis Staff added to War Mace so you can use them for ranged damage and then use the same to whack opponents upside their heads.
  5. I'm insanely jealous of how gorgeous that design is... and I may have to steal it from you.
  6. Simple explanation:
  7. Would it be possible to make some of the existing weapon customization options available in other weapon power sets? For example: Katana -> Rusted Blade and Impervium Katana could both be moved to Broad Sword... and Dual Blades has Impervium Katana but not the Rusted Blade. And Broad Sword has a number of swords that could work nicely in dual blades, including Tech Sword, Thorn Blade, Tsoo Katana, Roman Gladiator, Roman Savage, and Barbarian Sword. I think some of them would also work in Katana... the hilt of the Barbarian Sword seems long enough for Katana's two-handed grip... and so does the Romulus Augustus Sword and Nictus Sword. The Legacy Broadsword seems pretty long in the handle, and so does the Thorn Blade. Dual Blades -> Falcata looks like it would be great in Broad Sword... and the Organic Sword would also fit nicely in the Battle Axe category. While we're on mixing categories, there are a couple other axes that would work fine in Dual Blades... such as the Celestial Axe and the Roman Axe B and C (all three are slashy and have a stabby point at the top), and the Shovel and Rikti Axe have both forward and top cutting edges that would also make them suitable for slashy & stabby animations. I think a couple could also work in Katana, also... the Rikti Axe could work as well as the Rikti Sword, and the Vanguard Axe looks like it would be a good weapon for both the precise strikes and the wide sweeping strikes of Katana animations. The Pulse Rifle models of Rikti Blaster, Crey Laser, and Crey Pulse Blaster would quite suitable for Beam Rifle... and in the Beam Rifle options, the DUST Cannon, Rune Soldier Rifle, Resistance Rifle, Shock rifle, Devastator, and Shard Cannon would all fit nicely as Pulse Rifle options. The three Arachnos assault rifles should be available in the Assault Rifle set. Why can't my villainous blaster be an Arachnos specialist instead of a standard soldier? Likewise, Arachnos soldier should have access to pretty much everything in the Assault Rifle options. And, in the same vein, let's let those Arachnos maces out into the wild... all four can go in the War Mace power set, and a couple (A and B) could even work in Battle Axe as well as Dual Blades. And lastly... Claws, all of them, should be made available to Widows. It's strange how Widow claws are available to melee types with the Claws power set, but Widows themselves only have that one option. Personally, I would love to have the RG Blades on my widow and call them extensions of her psionic prowess. Lastly, we have a few NPC enemy weapons available to us already... Nemesis rifles, the Tsoo 'Katana', Rikti swords, and even the Romulus Augustus Sword... could we maybe have a few others? Vahzilok: bone saws wielded by the reapers are a little small to be considered battle axes, but really no more so than the hatchets that we already have. I think they'd look pretty intimidating as a Dual Blades option, too. And I'm sure there are other options that would also work but I'm drawing a blank and need to go out for coffee now.
  8. Nah, scrappers still have higher Def/Resist values, as well as higher HP. They also have a dedicated secondary power set of damage mitigation, as opposed to certain blasters having a power that gives them more survivability than other blasters.
  9. Scrappers are potentially the tankiest non-tanks in the game. How's that? Does that work for everyone?
  10. Kheldians are, by design, able to fill multiple roles. They are not dedicated tanks because different powers can be taken. But if dwarf form is taken, then the kheldian in question is --by design-- able to fill the tank role. Kheldians are both tanks and not tanks... depending on how they are played. They are not ideal tanks, but that's the point of how they are designed to be able to fill multiple roles. But what's the point of this line of calling them into question as tanks or not? Are you trying to reason that scrappers belong on the list of tanks as much as kheldians do or something else? Because if it's the former, that's an incorrect assumption. Scrappers CAN be capable of tanking, depending on how you build, and if you want an AoE taunt you have to dip into a power pool to do it. Kheldians have this by design without the pool power workaround. Kheldians are more tank than scrappers are by design... but they are not as much tank as tankers and brutes are... by design.
  11. You are correct in that they are resilient and survivable. I was once on a Statesman Task Force with a group and they were trying to pull the patron AVs one at a time... and failed. Our second rate tank held aggro Ghost Widow and Scorpion while we laid into Ghost Widow first then Scorpion, and the healer did as well as possible keeping the tanker healed (died once, but rezzed immediately). The spines/invul scrapper on the team held aggro on Mako and Scirroco alone until we finished with the other two... and did not die. Does this mean scrappers are tanks? No... inherently, they are not tanks. Their aggro management is limited by design. They are melee damage dealers that CAN tank, especially if one's build is geared toward that function. I've also seen an illusion/storm controller tank... but that doesn't make controllers tanks. Scrappers are melee damage dealers. If you want to play them as tanks, that's no different than a dominator trying to qualify as a ranged damage dealer (aka blaster/corruptor). Just because a thing can be done does not mean that the AT should be modified to make it more like the role it has been molded into.
  12. Easy peasy: make one Defense toggle akin to Weave of the Fighting pool... +Defense (ALL).
  13. Tanking is a combination of both being more resilient/survivable and aggro mangement. Kheldians' dwarf form being more survivable and possessing an AoE taunt qualifies it as a tank. They aren't "true" tanks as they can focus their build in a non-tank way that excludes them from being tanks... but as pointed out, they are the jack of all trades and master of none. They are definitely more qualified to be on the tanks list than scrappers.
  14. Beware the gingers... they earn a freckle for every soul they steal. Ginger Witch Necromancy / Storm Summoning Mastermind
  15. It is too many characters (by two). Some other ideas: Burning Hazard Hot To The Touch Too Hot To Handle
  16. I have more Miss names... Miss Behaver (Claws/Bio scrapper -- just a rebel) Miss Behaving (Arachnos Soldier -- complete villain, and proud of it) Miss Chievous (Illusion/Storm controller -- a lil pixie) Miss Deeds (Bio/Sword tanker -- just someone who gets stuff done) Miss Informed (Energy/Temporal blaster -- no real theme... yet) Miss Judge (Mace/Bio scrapper -- dressed in judge robes and using a giant wooden gavel as a weapon) Miss Leader (Mercs/Force Field mastermind -- military theme) Miss Right (Arachnos Widow -- reformed Arachnos, now a vigilante) Miss Takes (Psionic/Ninjitsu scrapper -- roguish thief)
  17. It does not. And if you want such a thing, you should be playing a tanker or a brute. Scrappers CAN tank... but it does not mean that they should be able to do so as effectively as the two ATs designed for that role.
  18. Simple baggy pants in light red with leopard print in gold. I wanted something fancy that would stand out as fairly unique but still fit that kung fu warrior vibe.
  19. I tweaked Heritage's main costume and added some alternate looks for her. Aside from a subtle face coloring with makeup 3, I darkened her robe, added a symbol, and changed her footwear. Second costume is a color reversal on her robe, different pants with the same color pattern, and different shoes. The original Chinese sword in my original post remains consistent in all of her outfits. Costume 3 retains the alternate pants from the previous but returns to red for an alternate style, dressier robe (and loses the headband). Costume 4 is her "gearing up for battle" outfit in which I FINALLY find a use for one of the Imperial Dynasty belts... combined with a Barbarian chest armor & "shoulder" armor covering the top of the Witch Wing (Tight) gloves. Back to the sandals footwear, too. Costume 5 modernizes her look with a modern jacket and sunglasses, but holds on to a more traditional look with her fancy hairstyle and almost the same pants (which are now less baggy). And finally, costume 6 is a comfortable blend of traditional and modern with her original robe (sans symbol) with blue jeans and sunglasses.
  20. Exactly. Scrappers can Confront... but to get tanking-type taunt, it's as simple as skipping Confront and taking Provoke in its place.
  21. It doesn't (and probably shouldn't) cover all the bases in the way you're describing. It's an ancillary pool, not a full melee primary/secondary set. One toggle for defense, maybe one for a +Health/+Resist auto, a click version (with long recharge time) of Grant Cover, and a lesser (moderate Damage) version of Shield Charge attack... and maybe add in the middle a single target Shield Slam attack using some left-handed melee attack animation. Obviously this would need to be varied for the different ATs to suit each each one's needs, but it's about filling in some holes for non-melee types and not making the full Shield Defense powerset obsolete.
  22. Can't teleport through time? Try using the mission teleport, LRT, or other teleport powers to get out of the Echo zones, Ouroboros, or Cimerora. Seems like the zone teleport system is powerful enough to travel through time after all.
  23. Want to tank enemies and need to draw aggro? Pick up Provoke from the Presence pool.
  24. I decided to take a stab at a character who utilized the full effects of Bio Armor... God Awful Spines / Bio Armor Scrapper
