  1. We sorta have it already on female toons under Detail 2 as part of the Gunslinger set. If only it could be ported over to male toons. Not huge, though... they have no necks. 😄

  6. I would love for there to be this boot with Skin and Tights options. For tights, secondary color would define the tights, and for skin there is only the single color option. These kind of choices already exist in the sneaker option where you can have sneakers with socks or skin.

And if it's a matter of can't introduce new mesh models for whatever reason, allow me to present the following for your consideration: Why not add the standard Slip On 2 shoe but change the texture to eliminate the white color so that the whole area takes the selected color, as shown by my exceptionally crude edit below?

  13. I wouldn't mind if they just gave us a Headbutt alternate animation option for a couple powersets.
  14. We have other signature hero summons that we can buy... seems like being able to earn calling in a favor would be nice. Of course, that could also look silly if 8 people on a team call Ms. Liberty and 8 Ms. Libertys show up to help fight a giant monster somewhere. I don't know. I like the idea of seeing more of the hero in the missions pertaining to them. Doesn't need to be a power useable anytime after outside that TF.
  15. Bah, I don't want their powers. I have my own. And it wouldn't work for me on red side if villains were sharing their power to get things done. But yeah, it doesn't have to be the final fight. It could be an appearance anywhere through the missions... let us know the hero isn't just standing around like some self-important jerk telling others what to do. Or maybe the temp power given is the ability to summon the TF giver for the final fight. If you can handle it on your own, you get an XP bonus for not summoning the signature hero.... or you can call the hero in for backup if the fight starts going poorly.
  16. Give me an Azuria task force, and I'm there for it. But for Ms. Liberty or Bastion? Bitch, please... I'd be more inclined to help the TF heroes if they were actually part of at least the final mission of the task forces they assign. Instead of "I'm too busy to do this myself, you do it," it could be "I need you to handle these things for me while I do other stuff and we'll meet up at the end for the big fight."

  18. I think a distinction in travel powers taken from pools as opposed to being temp powers is that the pool powers should be superior. For one thing, you can enhance them for speed or endurance reduction or stealth. Temp powers / vehicles cannot be enhanced at all and should be a little slower and more endurance heavy since you can't slot even a single End.Redux in them. Currently, there's not much benefit to the core travel powers and the newer origin-based pool travel powers have the benefit of combined effects... so it might be time to give the core powers a review to see if there's anything that can be done to make them better. Some off the top of my head suggestions: Flight: +ToHit bonus while Flight is toggled on. Rationale: Fast 3D movement gives the flyer better positioning to attack, allowing you to choose to be a slow-moving Defensive flyer or quick agile attacker. Super Jump: +Damage bonus while Super Jump is toggled on. Rationale: Jumping around builds momentum which allows you to put a little extra oomph into your attacks. Super Speed: +Defense bonus while Super Speed is toggled on. Rationale: Already hard to see with partial stealth, moving fast should make you harder to hit. Teleportation: Not sure what to do with this one, if anything, since the entire revamp of the teleportation pool has greatly enhanced the overall feel... though Teleport itself feels kind of weak, there's no temp power like it aside from the various long range teleport options (allowing you to jump to specific zones, mission doors, base, auction house, etc). Respecs are easily acquired. I think you get one every 10 levels now, as well as being able to get Respec recipe drops (or purchase at the Auction House), or complete missions to gain. The game is not especially punishing of inexperienced people making uninformed choices.
  19. Why are all these lazy heroes handing out TFs that they should really be doing themselves? Task Forces should be assigned to players by city officials... police chiefs and captains, maybe a mayor and other representatives... you know, people with authority but no real power to do things themselves. As long as those heroes stand static doing nothing, I have zero respect for the non-trainers. At least they help players by letting them level up. Positron, Synapse, Yin, and others... wastes of space.
  20. Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider only rides it as an entrance. Technically, it is feasible to put player characters on the motorcycle, but there would need to be a butt-load of re-coding to use it as a vehicle. The problem, as stated by the old devs on Live, is that player movement wouldn't change with a vehicle (except to add a Y axis for flying things) so if we were on a motorcycle we could immediately back up, turn on a dime, or even strafe sideways in a way that would look completely immersion-breaking of motorcycle use. But the motorcycle COULD technically see player use in another way... if it were added to the list of hurled objects with Gravity Control -> Propel. Perhaps we could also see it added as a static item in the base builder, too, along with other vehicles that exist in the game but can't actually be used by players.

Legendary Staff Fighting / Willpower Brute (who dips into the sorcery pool) So I got a new laptop and it seems that whenever I put focus on something other than the game (such as a screen capture tool), the game screen darkens noticeably. Has anyone else encountered this or know how to fix it? Because I had Windows 10 on my old laptop but never experienced this issue and now it's driving me nuts because it has an impact on my screenshots.
  23. I wouldn't call those responses anger. It's definite disagreement with the proposal, but I don't believe anyone has been angered.
  24. Yes. I love pushing groups into a corner and having them constantly knocked back and ragdolling in place while I take advantage and blast them into ruin.
