Force Redux

Yep, put a build up on Beta server, Dark/Ninjutsu/Soul... Has everything I could want. Capped defense, stealth, complete mezz protection, end recovery, two heals, some minor resistances, extra speed for delayed travel powers, ranged attacks with -to hit, AOE KD cone, ranged AoE, solid attack chain, debuff toggle, AoE immobilize, ST hold. So adds some nice controls and debuffs on the side for grouping. Even better, was about to come up with a great costume and bio to support all that! If I get around to it I'll post a build to compare. :)

Rolled one up tonight based on your conveyed excitement, and I caught the fever! Remaking an old main into this.

Necro is a generally quiet set, with smaller pets. Pair it with Dark, Time or Cold. It's my next favorite set after bots. I want to like demons, but they are noisier than Bots. You could always play with the sound files to silence them, however.

I like your stuff! I'm keeping this in mind for when I settle on a character...

I'll put my 2 Inf in for Bots/FF/Mace. Back in the Live server days it was my main and fully Incarnated. I ran every TF available and felt like I was both contributing, and was asked frequently to help out, and had lots of fun doing so. Bubbles are always helpful. They provide Toxic resistance, and resistance to END drain, too. Even if you are Defense capped, extra DEF helps prevent cascading Defense failures. And buffs every thing that's not. Plus mezz protection for all who need it. It also is hands off enough you can pay more attention to your pets and the flow of combat. Bots are ranged, for the most part, and using GoTo to prevent door jamming and other considerate for your teammates will be useful for any pet set. You're incarnate buffs and your ancillary pool choices can also add to your helpfulness to the team. I've found PFF useful when I get separated from others in Trials for one reason or the other. If you don't care about defense, then go Sonic. If also reccimend Dark as a top useful secondary on teams. Both go very well with Bots. I won't mention Time. It already has enough recommendations for it. But Bots/FF is a classic and for good reason. From level one to Incarnate. Whatever you choose, the set you enjoy playing is the one you'll play the best, so try a few sets out and see which clicks :)

This is good to hear. It's feeding my altitis! The Field Medic passive is very helpful for me to my Bots/FF. Big QoL improvement from Live. Some range enhancement helps.

Advantage Bubbles and Cold, they can apply their defense buffs over distance and quickly. Not everyone or everything is in range when FS goes off. true but that's the teams problem. I tell 'em to gather for farsight. they don't pay attention. they can read chat from the hospital. *Chuckle*

overwhelming force you can only use one of and it does more than just change kb to kd, it gives all attacks a chance to knock down. 20%. use it in the pet with the most attacks. i dont know offhand how many attacks the little bots get. if one has 5 attacks, then they have 15 total chances to proc that bad boy. there is another io in sudden acceleration that changes kb to kd and that is not unique, so you can place in both assault bot and protector bot. I think I'm at a loss for a slot for Sudden Acceleration. After slotting 3 IOs for DEF/Res for pets, there's not a lot of room for others. I *might* be able to squeeze 1 sudden acceleration in, but its dependant on later-game slotting after some Hami-Os are available. Perhaps remove the pet names from over their heads? There's an option to do so in the UI for other people's pets, not sure you can do so with your own. It actually does not. It just removes the customized names. Like, instead of Pleasure Bot you will see Drone Bot. A huge part of my fun I seeing pet names... :-)

No one answered, but I imagine RWZ would still be the popular choice. I'm not incarnate yet again so just conjecture on my part.

Congrats! It's nice to bring back to life a character from the past! Like you, I remade my old villain main. Have fun!

How well does the zombie AI work with that increased speed? If think it might make Ninjas too ADHD... And cause agro issues... How about the zombies?

Most KB comes from the BigBot. He definitely gets the Overwhelming proc. I don't have room for Sudden Accel. KD procs in ProtBots or Battle Drones. But just managing BigBot's KB is huge.
