One entry per person though. The What? A color & theme challenge using our amazing Costume Creator. The When? It all ends this week so enter by 6pm CST: Sunday the 18th. The Where? You can post your wondrous creations right here in this thread. The Why? If your entry is chosen you win a prize artz! Character of your choice! The How? Using the colors below create a costume you think fits the theme & post it! The colors for week 6 are: A9 - B5 - E3 - N8 + Any "Skin" color ~ The theme is: Ever After! Want to know the rest of the details? Need a few hints? Click the "reveal hidden contents" bar below. Have a question or suggestion? Leave a comment and I will update the information as needed. Reveal hidden contents What do you mean by the theme "Ever After?" It's up to you how to interpret it. Could this mean living happily ever after as in marriage? A reference to the undead enduring forever in the afterlife. Whatever happened after the fire? All three? The aftermath of some momentous occasion like the Rikti invasion? Something else entirely? ------ What kind of prize artz we talkin' bout here? Something like... Whatever's there when the deadline rolls around will be considered your final entry. ------ What about backstories? Not required and not a factor in picking a winner but I'm happy to read them so have at it. ------ The costume creator changes some of the colors a bit when I...? This can't really be avoided so a certain amount of "close enough" is fine just try your best to stick to the above colors. ------ Skin color? You may pick any color you wish from the skin color palette and use it anywhere the CC considers skin whether that's fur on a wolf metal plating on a robot etc. ------ Can I use more colors than the ones above? Try to keep it to just the ones above as best you can to increase your chances of winning a prize. ------ How many times can I enter? You may enter once per week, every week if you wish. Cutter Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) Edit: Realized that the first submission was trying too hard to give equal screen time to all 4 colours, which in hindsight was a mistake (for me). Well, gotta say I was beyond stunned that the name Shock Value was available on Everlasting. It was meant to be! Rolled this guy as an Elec/Kin Controller a Stone/Regen Brute (cuz I forgot how terrible I am at controllering). Backstory is barely there (it's only been an hour, whaddaya want? 🙂). Went with Tech origin, so between that and the textures I used it's likely to involve some sort of traumatic event that required extensive bodily rebuilding. (Also the guy might have some issues, as evidenced by his decision to retain what was left of his skull...) Originals spoilered for posterity. Reveal hidden contents Anyhoo, enough babbling... Cause seeing things in the costume creator doesn't always work as well out in the "real world". And it definitely needed the improvements - some high bars set & I'm expecting/hoping to see more. @Cutter So many alts, so little time...
