LRT & Praetorian Question

So, I just started a new Praetorian alt (Resistance Crusader, whoa). I have unlocked the travel badges for Nova Praetoria and Imperial City. But, doing so has not unlocked the Long Range Teleport. I thought that unlocking any zone badge would unlock the LRT power. Is that not correct? Image below to demonstrate.

Did you get ALL the badges? Run all the travel tips until you get no more, just to make sure you didnt miss any.

 

Unlocking the zone means you got 1+n badges in a zone, where n <= 0. It does not mean you have ALL the badges in that given zone. You need ALL the badges in one zone. The travel tips will tell you when you get them all by merit of running out of them in a zone.

 

Travel tips, they are your friend!

You've needed all of the exploration badges from one zone in order to unlock LRT since Issue 27, Page One went live.  You then only need one exploration badge from additional zones in order to unlock the additional zones.

No, it was like that since day one.  You need every exploration badge for one zone (which also grants an accolade and 5 merits) to unlock the LRT.  Then you need just ONE badge per zone to add that zone to the available destinations.

Oh I guess I never noticed that. All my previous toons must have already had those badges. Okay, thanks!

Tagential, but LRT pretty much forced me to (at long last) memorize AP badge locs in order to unlock it quickly. Got the circuit down pretty good now.:-)  I don't know jack about Praetorian badges though (including how to get back there and grab them if you never were gold side? is it even possible?).

I have done a TON of AE work, both long form and single arc. Just search the AE mish list for my sig @cranebump. For more information on my stories, head to the AE forum sub-heading and look for “Crane’s World.” Support your AE authors! We ARE the new content.

Just go through the Tunnel connections in AP (or other areass) to Imperial, or from Pocket D to Studio 55 in Imperial.  Then scoot about.

You are correct, it is for the Brightest Sun badge.

Here's the code you will need (and you'll need to supply your own tooltip and command): 

/macro_image "Badge_OGTH2" "Tooltip" "Command"

 

Be warned, though, that power icons are 32px by 32px, whereas that badge icon is 48px by 48 px. As you can see in the top post, it will extend beyond the tray slot that you put it in and may cause issues with its neighboring icons.

For future reference, it seems one can get the LRT power with just the Clubber badge from Pocket. As far as I can tell, that's the easiest way to get it for a newbie Praet. Might be easiest for a newbie Paragonian, too.
