Any teaser what is being worked on? (January 2024 edition)

Folks check in here from time to time to see if there is anything new. We know the devs are doing things behind the scenes... it could be nice if we had some notice in advance what is being worked on.

 

Or a cryptic peak behind the curtain.

I'm guessing some thought is going into the Halloween event right now.  Last year the new EB/AVs were a great add to Trick or Treating, but seem to remember that they weren't completely happy with how it worked.  So that is my initial guess.  Then again, I've guessed they might have a Clown Mastermind set so I'm not that reliable.

What about a variant of 'clowns' but a circus MM.maybe soem roustabouts or clowns for tier 1 clowns or acrobats for tier 2 and an strongman for tier 3....just a thought

It's been a busy year for many on our team, but despite that we're still very hard at work on new content!
For that wait, I can say the next update has grown a lot for the time it's had. 🍜

That being said, if we had any specific ideas on when to expect things to drop we'd be more forthcoming with details, but it's very much 'as time allows' for some of us and it makes it difficult for estimating the exact timetables of collaborative volunteer projects. Updates as soon as we're ready!

As always, work not final, subject to change, not a Nemesis Plot(?), may not even see release, etc, etc.

Even if it isn't master minds, I still want to be able to play a clown that throws pies, squirts seltzer, slaps someone with a fish, carries a ladder, throws buckets of whitewash, and heals by throwing a bucket of confetti. Having a tiny car that functioned like the flying carpet (maybe something similar to the Jetson's car) would be a wonderful bonus.

I'd like to see the Thugs, Demons and Beast Mastery mastermind sets get an update like the other four sets got.

Since it was mentioned by a dev after that went live that it was being worked on and would probably be coming "soon".

But then again, "soon" in development terms usually means anywhere from 6 months to 5 years.

That looks like the same ghostly aura that the Time Echoes have in Mender Ramiel's arc, so it's either Incarnate or Ouroborus timey wimey shenanigans.
