If my 16yo son is to be believed, this MoistCr1TiKaL fellow is supposed to be the bees knees.  It's possible this may actually be the straight dope, as he has the #7 Trending video on all of the YouTube today.  I mention this because at the 5:53 mark, he says it thisaway:

As an old vampire I find little to like in this man

Good taste in games is not going to overcome everything else I find loathsome about him.  One suggestion would be to grow the hair out even more until he looked like a brown Cousin It.  I might tolerate him then

Fads fade, what is cool in one decade eventually falls out of favor for the next big thing - only to return for nostalgia or other reasons as the cool thing. I think it's just part of human culture to listen to story tellers. The only difference I see is the medium it is presented through.

A propos fads - does this mean we are going to see FOTM builds which maximize the moistness of critical hits? I, for one, have never paid attention to how moist my crits are, but I guess that I have to wait for @Ston or @Croax to publish a listing of stalkers ranked by moist crits. I can already guess that Fire/ has the driest crits, but the rest in anyone's guess.

Hrm.  Maybe I've been preparing for this for a while, as I have a Water/Electrical Corruptor named Embarrassing Wetness and a Water/Storm named Moisture Riser.

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point a streamer with a decent following stumbles into our fine city and brings with him 1000 other players for a few months.  As you all know, we've got a genuinely good game here.  It seems inevidable that we'll eventually catch a wave.

And that will probably be when the trouble really starts.

Jinx.

Girls of Nukem High - Excelsior - Tempus Fabulous, Flattery, Jennifer Chilly, Betty Beatdown, Totally Cali, Two Gun Trixie

Many alts and lots of fun.  Thank you Name Release For letting me get my OG main back!

The moistest crits come from TP attack powers like Shield Charge.  Trust me on this.

Tim "Black Scorpion" Sweeney: Matt (Posi) used to say that players would find the shortest path to the rewards even if it was a completely terrible play experience that would push them away from the game...

And here I thought Water Blast was the obvious king of this category.:-)

I have done a TON of AE work, both long form and single arc. Just search the AE mish list for my sig @cranebump. For more information on my stories, head to the AE forum sub-heading and look for “Crane’s World.” Support your AE authors! We ARE the new content.

I have a character in BG3 that applies water on a hit, and has a reduced threshold needed for a critical. So I've inadvertently made a Moist Critical build without knowing who this guy is, because I'm old enough that I'd rather play a video game than watch others play them or talk about them.
