Only looked at the most recent big patch and immediately found an example of a suggestion that was implemented…

It had been suggested earlier as well.  Though they may have decided to use the name based off that one.

There's also a current thread about Hamidon that has Development involved.

And a couple devs had mentioned they saw something that sparked an idea for them, so while I don't think they'll ever just use an idea as is, they don't work in a vacuum.   I suspect a few more suggestions get hammered out in the closed beta area.

Even if an idea sounds good, it might go through changes as they try to implement it or it might not work well enough to make the final cut

Neat!  I honestly missed the Mark & Recall power because it's behind Labyrinth content that I ignore

The Labyrinth of the Fog zone is not connected in any way to the Mark and Recall accolade power. A player can get Mark and Recall and never step foot in the Labyrinth zone.

The devs do follow the suggestions and bug forums closely. Some suggestions have been taken on board and implemented, others not. There have been a few times when a dev has gone "oooo I love that idea" and done something with it or looked and realised it wasn't possible. Same with bugs. Many of the longstanding ones are unfixable, or would take a lot of time and effort to recode entire portions of the game, and in many cases it's not worth it for the small irritation the bug causes. Big bugs get fixed of course, especially if they are game breaking. Sometimes Number Six will roll out a hotfix in emergencies.

Homecoming did pick up on my idea to introduce a Mark/Recall. It's an awful coincidence otherwise. Before posting here I mentioned it once or twice in General on Indomitable. Somebody might have listened. But they made an impossible accolade out of it. Defeat the Seed of Hamidon to get that power? That's a non-starter. I wanted a simple power everyone could get to revisit their favorite or most useful spots. For me it would be the Elyssian Avenue in Nova Praetoria. I enjoy looking over the river there. The way they implemented it says something about their priorities, and I have understood that they are at complete variance from mine. Whatever Homecoming decides to do with the game (and they aren't doing much), it is not going to be something I find important or right. That is why I stopped posting on this forum. I'm only replying now because I was quoted. And, besides revamps more substantial than the Mark/Recall, there are many suggestions I have made that would be very simple and quick to implement: add Hero and Villain stances from emotes to the stance selection menu; copy Claws weapons options to Savage Melee; make hostages and other NPC to be rescued emit a noise, like the glowing objects do, only in their case crying, moaning, shrieking in fear, to be easier to find; introduce a standing map-making contest to invite players to replace generic mission maps with better-suited and unique versions... These are the less interesting of my ideas from 2024. Homecoming does not care or cares about something else. And they keep looking past enormous bugs like the Dual Pistols reset every time you change appearance or that you can't load costumes half the time. I'll just stop here.

As has been already said HC has it's own priorities. If a single suggestion isn't implemented, /shrug.

With that said if the devs feel Suggestions forum is not useful and decide to get rid of it I would not shed a tear.

We literally defeat the Seed of Hamidon every single day on Indomitable, and we have done so for over six months straight at this point.

Yeah but whine, cry and something or other

Just did it on Victory.     I find the 25 tip missions more of a hassle (and now that I think about it, doesn't fit in with the rest of the badges for the accolade)

i have seen this first hand - a few years ago i made a (mostly jokey with upside down text) post about how the default state of the mouse was 'inverted', which bugged me on a very tiny level because if you asked for an item, say a cup, you wouldn't hand it to someone in its inverted state

i noticed a few months ago the default state is 'normal'

I wouldn't read too much into the default settings, as they always seemed to me to be a quasi random assignment of what is enabled/disabled by default. Those feel a lot like "someone wanted it that way" and we can come up with rationalizations for whatever default settings.

The inverted mouse? I always use the "inverted" mode, it is my preference from other games of the original CoH generation.
