Troo Posted yesterday at 02:33 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:33 AM Just now, Psyonico said: is not an innocent question of “should changes be documented?” I'll take this one. The whole quote is: "That said, changes are still happening and it's kinda bullshit." Power changes were still happening after open beta, after the publish; and yes I wrote that 'it's kinda bullshit'. Not innocent at all. Nope Edited yesterday at 02:42 AM by Troo Nope - as in you seem focused on arguing minutia and potentially still missing the bigger picture even after two devs have weighed in "Homecoming is not perfect but it is still better than the alternative.. at least so far" - Unknown (Wise words Unknown!) You seem to have lost your place a little bit. I asked if you had any thoughts. You replied to me, but forgot to include your thoughts! I am asking the question. I am asking a question related to the topic. Should changes be included in the patch notes? It's not a trick. No need to be cagey. It's the topic we are discussing. Discourse can be tough. If you don't have any thoughts, that's always ok. I can help you. Maybe you think changes should be included in the patch notes. Maybe you think some changes are ok to exclude... maybe you even have criteria you could share. Maybe you don't care at all or have not put any thought into it. All those positions are OK. 1
Jiro Ito Posted yesterday at 03:03 AM Posted yesterday at 03:03 AM There were other undocumented changes. For example, AVs, GMs and monsters were made to be immune to Confuse. 1 Play my AE Adventures, listed under @Jiro Ito, including award winners: "The Headless Huntsman of Salamanca" #43870 **Scrapbot AE Contest Winner May 2022** "On the Claw-Tipped Wings of Betrayal" #43524 **November 2021 Dev's Choice** "The Defenders of Talos" #44578 **Mission Architect Competition Winner for October 2021: REBIRTH**

Of course changes should be in the patch notes, but I also acknowledged several posts ago that mistakes happen and sometimes they get missed. I already answered that, you just don’t like that I didn’t specifically say “changes should be in the patch notes” you’re being antagonistic and so is Troo. This thread should have ended when a dev said “I’ll look into it” but instead that wasn’t good enough. 2 2 1 What this team needs is more Defenders

golstat2003 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Yeah bugs happen. Bugs that can easily be missed due to the small size of the dev team, and lack of a large pool of tester for closed and open beta. This shouldn’t be a surprise.

DrBasics Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago You guys seriously need to stop being such fanboys. Fanboys are just as detrimental as their polar opposite negative naysayer. Punching down on anyone who brings any sort of criticism to the game does nothing but stifle any future changes to the game, for better or for worse. There were undocumented changes, it was already confirmed a few times by a few different examples. The main point here shouldn't be "herp derp, why are you harping on one change that doesn't effect you". It should be "Well if that was an undocumented change, I wonder what else has changed that we are unaware of". Here is another example of a undocumented change (as far as I know). Sirens Song in the sonic blast set has been made to increase damage to the highest DPA AOE in the set (minus the nuke). It also breaks the target cap, and allows you to hit 16 targets, even on a defender. 1

Scarlet Shocker Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just going by the title I was concerned that Stealth was being nerfed very badly. How the hell am I even supposed to know if ignorance is bliss?
