I've suggested in the past, and will again here, that we should have a new incarnate alpha or interface power that has a core side that increases knockback and a radial side that decreases it.  Add on whatever other goodies that makes it an attractive choice like +damage, proc damage, endurance, or valuable debuff.   You could even tie extra KB to extra damage!  The higher up the tree the stronger the KB and the +damage or proc damage also increases.  The radial side wouldn't get the extra damage, but would get something else like extra endurance or debuffs.

Then the pro KB could add more, the -KB could eliminate it, and everyone could craft one of each to switch back and forth as desired.

It sounds like to me that you may be in denial if you believe that most players don't hate knock back. Some things in life don't need to be proven due to the abundance of evidence. Players who hate knock back being the majority is one of them.

Lol wut? What evidence are you talking about?

This problem could easily be fixed by giving everyone a toggleable "Knockback to knockdown" power, instead of making us sacrifice slots.

This isn't a problem that can be fixed.

Look, if the devs gave everyone a free KB > KD power, sure the whining about KB would stop. But you know what would happen then? People would find something else to cry about. They'd fixate on something else and post about that for year after year after year, just like they've done with KB.

The problem isn't KB. The problem is the human condition. People always complain about something.

Being constantly offended doesn't mean you're right, it means you're too narcissistic to tolerate opinions different than your own.

Exactly, and I think the next thing we should focus on is Tanks/Brutes.

Specifically their ability to aggro mobs and run off leaving squishies behind to figure out a way to survive.

My solution (because I always have solutions) is an inherent toggle for every squishy.  When that toggle is turned on, Tanks/Brutes lose all ability to move.  They are rooted until us squishies turn off the toggle

After that let's fix Kinetics. Make it so anyone teamed with a kin gets a temp power called "sb plz" that automatically activates his Speed Boost with you as the target.
