I redid the waypoints and added the names that are used in the Badge Tracker. Order seems to now be the same using either ATC's BadgeSetList menu, or the wiki and all matching points, unless I typoed. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/River_Rat_Badge

Every so often I'll get a perfect converter RNG, it's usually when I'm working with ATOs. Other days, I'll want a easy convert in set and it will flip between the two enhancements I don't want.

Unless something has changed, there's a range where they start hatching. I'd guess 25', but it might be further. Of course, it might one of those things that got changed behavior from changing something else. Might be worth a quick retest on beta in someone's copious spare time.

There's probably some coralex causing issues.

Taking EoE's In a Timely Fashion, just curious
lemming replied to Dogooder's topic in General Discussion
With EoEs, you can take them before the effect wears off, when they start flashing. I'm not sure when that is since I tend to time my EoE use with the stage. (Initial and usually just before the Mitos reappear when in minimal mode, couple more if needed) -
New update with a few more locked down locations. Couple extra Gladiators and some more fog locations locked down.

When the name release happened, NEW characters could grab a name that was used by someone else if the char had not logged in for a period of time. That is probably what is happening. What you need to do is: Create a new character with that name on that account Logout Change name on newly current character Change name on character you want that name on.

An idea for an actually-useful warning message
lemming replied to RikOz's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I do this almost always, though on occasion, I'll screw up the ordering and let it go. (However, with how many unslotters I have from opening superpacks, it gets fixed at some point) -
Not sure if bug: Investigate the Dying Praetoria
lemming replied to KountryGamer's topic in Bug Reports
It's always in Grandville, but iirc the mission door is in a safe area and there's a safe path from the ferry even. (And the SG portal is even closer) -
Would that be the cloud of oderous smoke mission?

Wealth redistribution system to help new players
lemming replied to Intermipants's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I say. This redistribution of wealth thing is trickier than I thought. -
A lot of NPCs have similar behaviour, though in Aaron's case, I don't think it would make much of a difference. Not sure if there is a souvenir or other flag that says you killed or arrested. The changes to Atlas will be the same either way. Does show a weakness in some of the prompting though

New Pv2 Vendor temporary power - Thumbtack Teleporter
lemming replied to DrRocket's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Boundary checks do happen in some zones, and a lot of missions have holes to exploit to get outside. Being able to setup a thumbtack to [X Y Z] that isn't on a usual player accessible spot, can result in shenanigans. Some harmless, some game breaking. There's one that I know that will crash a map instance. For the most part, you can't attack from outside the mission boundaries, but there are some spots. (Much like mobs stuck in the walls can shoot sometimes) And being able to just say go to a spot, does negate the reason for travel powers, doesn't it? Unless you put a ridiculous cooldown on it. I think a more reasonable request is porting to contacts or being able to setup a set number of beacons for base portals. -
TIP: Execute Slash Command with Bind_load_file
lemming replied to BlackSpectre's topic in General Discussion
I just used this to setup attribute monitoring since I have a standard list and then add other items to some chars. Used this to look up the ones I wanted https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Monitorattribute_(Slash_Command) This file was placed in Homecoming->settings->live->monattrib.txt I used the abbreviations recommended and now when I spin up a new char, I can just do the command bindloadfile monattrib.txt Note that will turn off monitoring if you are already monitoring any of those attributes. I will probably go thru and use the full names later in the file so I don't have to look it up on further edits -
Not sure if #3 is feasible, though when I saw the post title, there is one thing I would like as well: 4) The ability to reload a popmenu without exiting the client. 1&2 sound good to me if feasible.

Yea, I should have said alignment in my list instead of normal. Those three types are limited. Really should have linked to the page, so what the OP wants, is more Introduction Tips. Though for those, you have to have the intro tip, where in most cases, you can just walk up to a level appropriate contact. (Though I found that's not always true either. It seems like another non-standard pile of variations) https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Tip

New Pv2 Vendor temporary power - Thumbtack Teleporter
lemming replied to DrRocket's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
There's a difference between traveling to each point and "I press a button and I get a badge." And there's the numerous issues srmalloy pointed out. That's pretty much already available. You can use BadgeSetList to thumbtack and then point your way there. -
There are rewards for Ouro Arcs, not TFs You can set the same limitations for TFs, but except for Master & Starred type content runs, no additional rewards in usual TF setups.

New Pv2 Vendor temporary power - Thumbtack Teleporter
lemming replied to DrRocket's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
yes, but even more trivial to get to since we know the locs, instead of traveling to them, you just tp from badge to badge via a macro. May as well just get the grantbadge command from the beta servers. As is, the suggestion is not good. I think the ability to setup custom beacons in a SG base would be better, but not sure if that is even feasible. It would probably show where people like taking shortcuts to. Though I suspect, near Adamaster Spawn Point, possibly the council base in boomtown, etc... would be popular. -
Zone/Mission: Recluse's Victory Position: [124.9 288.2 -227.0] You can walk for a bit away from the top of the globe and not fall
-
Some tips don't pay attention to that rule. ie: The Kogan arc tip and a few similar ones. Does seem like 3 per type for Exploration tips, Valentine, and Normal (Alignment).

No Point of Suggestion (at this rate)
lemming replied to LightMaster's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I find many suggestions helpful in understanding parts of the game. I've definitely seen some suggestions influence other developments. Though back when I was doing development elsewhere, I did leave this comment: "Inserted a feature that was player requested. Now to find some chaos to put in there." -
Yea, I hate that some contacts just show up. Heck, I would like a "drop this contact" option for that, though I would prefer hidden, so if you were doing missions for them, it would pickup where left off. I think some of the ones you mention not being introduced are if we level past them. At least I suspect that's the case with Wincott, but might be that he still gets introduced if you do the old Origin contacts. Would need to verify though. On Red & Blue, Newspapers and Police Radios do introductions as well, though iirc, they predate Tips. What you're proposing, would mean more dev work, since probably a tip mission for each contact, but I wouldn't be opposed.
-
Technically sure, but I wouldn't count TFs, at least not since live where there would be occasion to not do it in one session.

New Pv2 Vendor temporary power - Thumbtack Teleporter
lemming replied to DrRocket's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I wouldn't mind a placeable beacon, but it would have to be something a bit more interactive since placing a thumbtack doesn't check boundaries. Heck, I'd like teleport to contact be available at all times. Would give a good reason to load up contacts while leveling up...
