  1. Caveat: I'm not a big fan of the MSR. I always feel it goes about 10-15 minutes too long. The Pylon stage isn't bad though. Having groups port into the murderball isn't making it easier, it's giving out free points and would encourage more autofire. Now, if you wanted to make it more interesting, make various goals pop up that need to happen. Have the Rikti assemble a large weapon that's capable of wiping out the bowl on the edge of the bowl that has to be destroyed pre-assembly. I'm sure we can come up with a few other ideas. I just find it tedius just blowing up everything that gets herded into the bowl.

  4. Are you sure you went to the right server? You can also check the file playerslot.txt and see if it's listed in there. Games/Homecoming/<ACCOUNTNAME>/playerslot.txt

Sorry, had a flashback to Katrina and how many cats came in with the name One-eyed Jack Oddly enough one character I transfered to Everlasting, I meant to have a place holder which I was going to put in case I wanted to transfer them back, and it was taken right after I did the transfer. (Turns out, I didn't want to transfer back anyway) If you go thru some of the name release talks and previous threads, it's a DB issue that would take too much work. I think this was debated on live as well.

  7. Those first two are horrible, but pretty much any map layout with hidden areas on kill alls.
  8. Just put a gentle slope under it and place an invisible ice slick under it. That might have the same coordination issue brought up by Starhammer, so if it's possible then to add Untouchable if that works for that effect for ~15 seconds. Then if people don't move on entry, they'll just slide away.
  9. I've redone a few of my characters from one concept to another. The biggest change I find is redoing all the costumes which isn't that big of a deal. (Made me actually have different costumes in each slot...)
  10. Yea, got my Regen/SS tank up to 50 and does well enough solo, but with just a bit of support is ridiculous.
  11. Tanks do a bit less than they did pre-patch, but if teamed, barely noticeable. Frankly, I'm still running tankers solo without an issue. And depending on how many years it's been, you may have missed their over boost in power which would mean they're still more powerful than you played with before. A Brute or Scrapper would synergize well with either a controller or dominator, but most ATs would benefit.

  14. I love the variety of stuff to do in the game, and dislike some of the tedium. Though tedium is a very broad range of tastes. Change: Respec system
  15. My Regen/SS tanker took handclap with a KB->KD, and a +recharge slotted. It's a fast attack that helps mitigation. My Inv/SS tank does not have it.

  17. I don't think the fix went live. Another bug that was fixed is still not on live. Though the version numbers are higher on live now...
  18. It doesn't prompt you if you have it active, you just rez. It will work as a rez otherwise though.
  19. On the WOW aside; Tried it, wasn't for me. Anyway, I think where the improvement can happen is how to teach new players how to manage their enhancements better when it comes to End Cost etc.
  20. I occasionally run into Dayjob issues where it turns out I wasn't actually in the DJ area. Sometimes it's because a door is nearby, and when you login, you come out that door. One that I know is easy to reproduce is the Vault in Pocket D. If you are inside to the left, you'll pop out from the door in the hall on the otherside of the vault. Occasional surprise dead zones in the graveyard in Striga, but I haven't had that happen for awhile, but I tend to park in the same spot now in my rotations. I haven't run into one in the RWZ, but again, I tend to park myself on a catwalk across from LG towards the portal.
  21. I think the issue with the monorail and street connections is that Croatoa & KW were added after the initial map making it a little wonky.
  22. I sorta remember back then it had been fixed to not allow outside the bounds. Sometime in the last 3 years, but iirc, it was closer to 3 years back than more recent.
  23. And yes, both repeatable contacts in DA can just be walked up to instead of as part of the Intro arc.
