  1. @Greycat there's also Assemble the Team, Team Transport, Incandescent Destiny, and Mission Transport to factor in. Also, how often do you use Teleport Foe, outside of maybe PVP? Why yank ONE enemy over, when your team can just steamroll an enemy group?
  2. Just rename it to "Divine Light." After all, Mot is a Divine entity, too....
  3. Speaking as someone who's taken an NRG/NRG Brute to 50 and fully incarnated, any time I see someone asking about Energy Melee I tend to write paragraphs explaining why they may want to look at another set, at least until they de-nerf it.
  4. You know, I know this is probably smashing the cottage rule to bits, but.....what if we just made it so that when the Gun Drone dies, it self-destruct for huge damage to every enemy near it?
  5. Yeah, like I said, it was for thematic reasons for a character. Also, a suggestion I had for Utility Belt that I REALLY wish they'd implement: Instead of having just a little adrenal surge in the travel power or whatever, I think they need to have a "grappling hook" power that just acts as a super-fast, short-range teleport.....with the caveat that it can only target a surface OR an enemy, not just empty space.....like you're yoinking yourself to a spot you've latched on to.
  6. Dunno your playstyle, but I dislike blapping, so I've become fond of this build:
  7. ....You just rewatched ATLA and want to do a Ty Lee character, don't you? C'mon, fess up.....
  8. I actually really liked FoW for thematic reasons, to get a quick and easy way for BOTH a Travel power and a "earthquake stomp" power in one go.
  9. Sometimes it's fun to mess with a Combo system, or Disintegration, or Bio Adaptations. Other times, it's nice and chill to play something a bit more vanilla, with no real gimmicks or specializations, but just solid and reliable performance. I've been enjoying the latter with a Claws/WP scrapper lately, and was wondering what the other "workhorses" for ATs are. Not necessarily flashy, or gimmicky, just good, even performance. My guesses for some are as follows: Blaster: Archery/TA. No secondary effects or DoTs, and nice passives in the secondary. Defender/Corruptor: Thermal/Sonic. A solid Jack-of-all-trades primary, and a secondary with an effect that's pretty much always useful. Scrapper/Stalker: Claws/WP. Nothing flashy, just a solid passive and quick, normal attacks that still shred things. Tanker/Brute: Inv/SS, or maybe WP. Decent mix of defense and resists, though Rage may be a bit gimicky. Controller/Dom: I have no idea! Mastermind: Dunno, Bots/FF maybe? EDIT: Please note I'm not necessarily saying OPTIMAL, I mean simple and basic, yet still a good performer. Good starter combos, but also solid for high tier stuff. Not TW with Momentum, or other added mechanics.
  10. Was just noticing on a build how they took Physical Perfection as a 1-slot wonder for Performance Shifter: Chance for Endurance, and was thinking, that could've just gone into Rest, and freed up that slot for something else. I was just wondering why I never see anything slotted in these, even if it's just a mule like as described above.
  11. Necrosonic Teenage Warhead?
  12. I guess Robots would be Golems or Constructs, then?
  13. They had some ideas for a riot suppression rifle that would have worked well. Mostly took the various specialty grenades, like you said. Munitions You possess a highly tactical rifle designed for riot suppression and crowd control, possessing a variety of functions and special payloads. - Electrified Net Launcher: Reworked version of 'Electrified Net Arrow' from Trick Archery - Cryo Freeze Ray: Taken from Munitions Mastery. - Wide Area Web Grenade: Taken from Arachnos Solider. - Flashbang Grenade: Taken from PPD SWAT. - Sleep Grenade: Taken from Munitions Mastery. - Rubber Bullets: Reworked version of 'Heavy Burst' from Arachnos Soldier. This power is a low smashing DoT cone with a disorient effect. - N2 Cannon: Taken from Crey Scientists - Tear Gas: Taken from PPD SWAT. - Gun Drone: Taken from Devices.
  14. For some reason I can't seem to get it to post the same code that most folks do.....

  16. It me. I just can't grok doing stuff like Beam Rifle with Tactical Arrow, etc. It hurts my soul. This is also why I'd LOVE it if they filled in some more concept pools for different origins, like a Natural origin Control set, etc.
  17. Here's the build I found in the forum mega-post of like 9 billion builds. It's durable AF against anything other than Toxic or Psychic, but without Taunt or an AoE Punch/Pokevoke, there's no good way to leverage that in teams. EDIT: Note that Mids defaults to Rune of Protection being toggled on, though. EnrgM EnA Mu bhls Brute - Axe Lavender Bravo 0418 - [i24].mxd
  18. This intrigues me. If I may go off on a slight tangent, do you have any experience with EM and Brutes? For theme's sake I have an EM/EnA Brute (since Tankers are sadly denied Energy Aura), but the build I found is....odd. It seems pretty damn durable, but didn't have room for Taunt. And since EM lacks AoE, it can't Pokevoke crowds to hold aggro....decent at holding AV's attention though, at least.....
  19. I'd love it! It's especially helpful to know what the relative advantages and disadvantages of the different primaries are!
  20. Maybe Accelerated Melee? Accelerated Combat?
  21. So, purely hypothetical situation: Your friends want to take down a baddie that is 100% immune to all damage other than Toxic. You've decided to create a DPS character for this. What AT/powers do you go with for maximum toxic DPS, and why? Spines? Rad melee? DP/Bio sentinel? What's your combo, focusing ONLY on the Toxic component?
  22. The power is weak enough that I don't think it would be broken to be able to pick up and move it the way Faraday Cage was changed in EA.
  23. Hmm, maybe I'll have to actually level up my David Pumpkins character after all.....
  24. Probably they'd be both lethal and smashing at the same time.
