Could we please get a little increase to Stamina please or reduce the cost of some toggles. It is often mentioned that during the leveling process that endurance is a big issue, especially at the lower levels.. AT's that run a lot of toggles struggle more than others. Some powerset combos can include 2 PBAoE auras that drain a lot of endurance on top of other toggles. Also we now have access to toggles earlier with the recent changes but are limited with enhances. I know there are ways to help with endurance but these include IO set bonuses and unique's etc which this game is not supposed to be balanced for and so should not be required. Having to mule these sets to every new AT just so it can perform more efficiently suggests to me something is not balanced. Anyone asking for advice about endurance are usually advised to slot these IO's. With the recent changes to attack types more attacks that can drain endurance may get through without these toggles? so not using certain toggles to conserve endurance may not be the best option. Slotting endurance reductions is not always enough. For funs sake could you increase Stamina or decrease toggles for leveling a little please? A suggestion could be that as you level then so could the endurance cost(toggles only). They would be low endurance to begin with and slowly increase as you level and gain access to better enhancements. A small buff would be nice.

If you could customize your Mastermind minions, what would you make?
Gobbledigook replied to Magi 1's topic in Mastermind
Demons could become little flying dragons with colors to match the elemental type. -
SS/Bio. I am thinking of making a Spines/Stone next though.

Yes i agree...but they need to be careful of trivializing content by being too powerful and creating unbalance with other sets. Invuln was really tough even before the buff now it is silly good, far better than some of the other sets. Hopefully they get some work soon also. Sets like Electric Armor need a small rework. They have a big toxic hole and have no defense/DDR. Defense can be built with IO's but they have no DDR. Personally i would have buffed that set before invuln, which was already pretty good. Possibly the IO sets need some adjusting a little. It is too easy to build for certain resistance/defenses etc than it is for others.
-
Electric armor has a lack of toxic resistance. Ice armor lacks in resistances. Fire armor lacks psi resistance. The resist sets don't even have defense and capped health to fall back on either. Maybe these will get the same treatment in the near furture. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do think they went a bit OTT with the psi resists for Invulnerability. With the right build/power sets, 80%-90% resists to all is achievable with very high defense and health. I also note that Invulnerability keeps the same DDR on all ATs. Psi resists are one of the easiest resists to cover in an IO build, 6 slots gives 35% psi resists. Fire/ice is also easy.

Power Pool/Epic Pool/Anything to Speed Up MM Minions.
Gobbledigook replied to Zeraphia's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I find they run slow also. Some maybe more than others. I dislike running to the next mob to turn around and my pets are still running to catch up lol. Puts me off playing them a little. -
A Fire/Bio Brute may do well. I think Fury affects the dots, but they don't crit for Scrappers? They would still be behind Scrappers though but if built with procs/recharge etc may do quite well.

This is only a model of: The KNIGHTS Powerset
Gobbledigook replied to AspieAnarchy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The MM could just use Archery attacks. Not as exciting though. The Paladin could be renamed to Champion. A paladin with a PBAoE heal could be nice though. A Medieval theme could also be.... 3 Archers 2 men at arms/foot soldier 1 Knight But i like it 🙂 -
What if we mixed Mastermind pets with Controller primary to create a new AT called Overseer or something else. Would that work? Masterminds are the only class that has access to MM pets, most other sets cross over in some way. For example... Necromancy/Dark Control Demons/Fire Control Could be fun 😉 Not sure if this has ever been mentioned before.

AR has the T9 cone that others don't. Sonic has some cones also.
-
Assault Rifle probably.

The New Battle Axe might be worth a whirl :P. It can draw the enemies in maybe alleviating the lack of a taunt aura some. It isn't adding Bio levels of damage/resistance debuff but it is nice to have.

Brutes can have over 3k health on some sets. They actually get use out of powers like Unstoppable. Team buffs really benefit Brutes. Some powers don't crit and Brutes pull ahead with them. Brute damage is pretty good, better than some make out. Some sets allow the Brute to hit the 90% resistance cap easier giving much better survival than 75% capped. Brute does not have to deal with runners like some Scrapper/stalker sets do. A Brute is versatile and can fill the role of Tank or dps and can switch between builds to suit. Scrappers do more damage and are fairly tough also.

After Page 5 Brutes will suck more. Here's why
Gobbledigook replied to Spaghetti Betty's topic in Brute
I suppose they could limit the amount of procs you can slot in one power or give different scaling of procs for each AT. Possibly even reducing the effectiveness of each extra proc after slotting one in a power by a %. 1st proc is 100% ,second is reduced by 10% or thereabouts and so on giving diminishing returns the more you slot in a single power. Reducing the +AoE radius of Tankers to 25% i could live with, as i said at the time it seemed a little OTT, although i like it now lol. I would rather that than reducing the damage scale and taking an age to take a hard target down, especially if procs were nerfed also. -

Strange...I have done the pylon with a proc heavy SS/Bio Brute and never felt threatened by the pylon at anytime. You can get nuked from above though which can hurt. -
Trapdoor Test Results - the other half of Pylon testing?
Gobbledigook replied to Kanil's topic in Scrapper
Times do seem to be dropping for this test for AT's. 🙂 The Pylon thread was the same. I think player skill is making a big difference also. Good work guys 🙂 -
I would still love to know why i got a thumbs down from @Astralock for trying to help lol. Doesn't really matter but it is weird. I presume it is the dps statement but that is my opinion as i can get under 90 seconds pylon on a Brute. I can not understand it otherwise.
-
What part is the thumbs down for @Astralock? Which part do you disagree on? I have a Brute that will take down a Pylon far faster than any Tanker. Tankers have extra AoE but Brutes just hit harder.
-
A Brute will always out damage a Tanker. Procs or no procs. Tankers do get extra AoE though which helps a lot, but on bosses the Brute will win but be less durable. Procs and +recharge really help a Tankers dps. You have done some of these but Panacea, miracle and Numina in health and performance Shifter in endo will help. There is also the +recovery temporary power from the P2W vendor. Slotting attacks/toggles with endurance will help. Incarnate can help with endurance if you are there yet. Eat inspirations. Get buffed by team mates. Willpower does have extra +recovery in it but Invulnerability is superior usually. Rage crash costs endurance. When fully built an Invuln/SS Tanker should not have too many endurance issues and will be really tough. With procs/+recharge they will still do respectable damage also.

The tragedy of the Brute Fury nerf. A timeless lament
Gobbledigook replied to Snarky's topic in Brute
The changes to Sentinels has not inspired me to play them over my Fortunata. Yes the Fort is on a slightly lower damage scale now but they bring so much more. They do give more damage type attacks and armor choices though. -
Layman's Terms 😉
-
I think a /kin corruptor would be more useful probably. A Tank+ any AT will do well though lol. I have seen a fire Blaster farm and was quite impressed to be honest, though i did not notice if they were popping inspirations every opportunity. They didn't just stay ranged either. Good AoE will always be useful for farming and a Blaster does it better than a Sentinel.....usually. A Sentinel can afford to build more aggressively though. A Fire/Bio Sentinel could do quite well. If a Tank is taking all the aggro then the Blaster will not be any more survivable than a Sentinel or vice versa. But a Blaster will not be more survivable than a Sentinel, that has armor as it's secondary skill. I could just proc the hell out of my Fortunata and still have high defense and bring some buffs.
-
Does that mean they need to "Git Gud" like you lol? A sentinel with a proc build and some decent recharge will do much better than that build above and still retain strong defenses/survival. That build can hide at the back and kill some trash though i guess. Each to their own. Any AT will survive if the hand picked mobs have no way of fighting back.
