  1. I ran the following story arcs back-to-back & received no merits for them.
     

    Story Arc: No More Fears
    Contact: Officer Fields (Via Flashback Crystal)

     

    Story Arc: Lay Down Your Burdens
    Contact: Sondra Costel (Via Flashback Crystal)

     

    Prior to doing those arcs I did "What was Lost" & received 3 reward merits.

  2. I would not make Combat Teleport a popup of Teleport.

     

    However, it would be cool if having additional powers from the Teleport pool caused a synergy between the powers (similar to the fighting pool).

     

    For example: For each additional power from the Teleport pool you have, Combat Teleport gets an extra activation before the cooldown recharge begins (potential synergy benefits for the other Teleport powers might be increased range or reduced endurance cost (whichever is more suitable))

  3. It's still happening, a few days ago I played the storyarc via flashback & the Thornbird mission auto failed. I continued with the storyarc & was awarded zero merits at storyarc completion even the other missions were successful.

     

    So, I tried the flashback storyarc again now, & again the Thornbird mission auto failed even though he never left his spot on the pyramid. I quit the storyarc this time, no sense in completing the rest of the missions if I won't get any merits for it.

  4. Suggestion:

    It would be cool if there was a new raid, that upon completion of this raid it unlocked Trick or Tricking (for a period of time) for all the teams that took part in the raid. (Or just everyone (whichever version people prefer)).


    Trick or Treating unlocked by the raid would be in a new zone that has level appropriate doors.

     
    Trick or Treating would be in this zone so as not to disrupt things for everyone else on the server for when it's outside of the Halloween season.

     

    (In-Season Trick or Treating would still be in all zones as they normally are, this is not a suggestion to remove Trick or Treating from the In-Season zones.)

     

     

    I don't know how hard it would be to code (or even if it's possible), but I think it would be very fun event.

  5. Turn Soul extraction into a toggle & have any death (Enemies, players, pets, henchmen) spawn the ghost.


    If the ghost is already out, then (while the toggle is active) have any further deaths either (A) Buff the ghost *OR* (B) Spawn additional ghosts to a predetermined limit.

  7. It would be great to have items from other powersets scaled up to be used as Titanic Weapons.

     

    I also want to see Shield Customization get a section called Titanic Shields, large objects used as shields (car doors, fire exit doors, part of a corrugated steel fence, "Human" shield (Zombie or Alien strapped down to your arm & flailing around while you fight)).

    Still love that idea & love your expansion on it. 

     

    Different Themed Procs each with their own type of summons, @Echo Night that is really great. I hope they get made.

  9. An SG base portal would be great.

     

    There should be some NPC mentions of the other dance clubs that exist (only in in-game lore) besides Pocket D, Studio 55, and Paragon Dance Party.

    I would also like to see an endless mission contact (similar to Meg Mason) that gives out missions on a Paragon Dance Party Instanced indoor map.

     

    Examples:

     

    Vandals are wrecking the club. Clear the gangs out of the PDP. (Hellions, Skulls, Warriors, Outcasts, Trolls)
    Stop the PDP shakedown by BossName (Family, Mooks, etc...)
    Rescue the kidnapped partygoers. (A map that starts out in a PDP map then goes into a cave network through a hole in the floor.)
    EnemyGroup is harassing the PDP patrons. Stop their aggressive recruitment.
    Mystic Ley Lines in the city converge on the location of the PDP, Stop the cultists from casting their dark ritual in the club. (Circle of Thorns, Banished Pantheon)
    "Assault on Paragon Dance Party", defend the club from the waves of attackers. (Please make it a lot better than "Stop 30 Fir Bolg entering door", that one is way too slow).
    BossName has wrecked rival dance clubs Black Ice & The Danger Zone; PDP is next. Stop Him.
    Stop EnemyGroup from spiking the PDP water supply with drug (Superadine, Fixadine, Outbreak, Rage, Shift, Crey Cola, Excelsior, Mutagenic Mold, Vahzilok Chemicals)
    World War II sleeper agents buried a weapon in Paragon City. Years later the location eventually became the site of the PDP. EnemyGroup has re-discovered the existence & location of the weapon. Prevent them from recovering it. (5th Column, Council)

     


    In the future if a developer would like to make further additions to PDP (when time allows) and make either a stage with a rock band (@Darmian's idea) or a DJ (@Greycat's idea & his idea of instrument players NPCs for SG bases is also awesome).

    My idea would be to alternate between the two, one day/night cycle could have a DJ & another day/night cycle could have a rock band; it could work the same way the dancers inside the cages in Pocket D periodically get swapped out. (If the code works the same way).

    If it's a toggle, it would be an offensive toggle - and thus drop when the player is mezzed. I've had this be *the* source of damage (at times managing to get the last bit of damage to kill the thing that keeps  mezzing me) more times than not. If it becomes a toggle, it loses that ability, and I'd only really use it on my Sentinels with their built-in mez protection.

     

    How about if you only have 1 perma up (with the toggle) but upon mezz toggle drop, the power auto-casts 3 (temporary duration) Voltaic Sentinels.
    That way it provides a damage burst (& diversion) when it's really needed.

    I wonder if the Rocket Board can reskinned (maybe use the Broom from the Staff Fighting weapon customization) & pair it with Emote animations such as Crouch, Sit, or the pose from prestige power slide (if they are compatible) (& without the glow).

     

    It's probably way harder to do than it sounds.

    Since the devs didn't want people resetting the mission to farm these items, the rewards should have been moved to mission complete and/or a big fat bonus at story arc complete.

    These arguments and ideas expressed in this thread are all very similar, if not identical, to the ones in that thread.  Which were largely the same retreads from earlier in Homecoming's many threads on the subject, which were retreads going all the way back to shortly after Issue 6 was released and there wasn't any initial swell of players joining Redside.  

     

    The thread below has a few good ideas scattered through the thread: your excellent opposite side triggered zone invasion idea, which other forum posters expanded on; my idea for a revamped newspaper (inspired by how Westworld's Rico crime app works); & a few other forum posters ideas.

    Opening up the hero hazard zones (either as a Coop zone or as zone where both heroes & villains coexist without really interacting) with new story arcs for both heroes & villains (& new TFs/SFs could also help).
