It's not that they didn't think it was important enough. It's that they could devote a huge amount of time and resources to one thing. Or they could deliver a lot of other, smaller things.

Okay guys. Every version of 3.0 I've run, when trying to run the upgrade results in a .NET error forcing a crash AND declaring the upgrade "successful". Afterwards, I'm left with a damaged, non-running install of the program. Right now I've tried upgrading to 3.0.4.7 and it's done it yet again. Win 10 Enterprise 24GB RAM i7 920 Running on a known-good, tested SATA Samsung SSD. With the update in the program, can we just have the option to open a webpage and download the installer executable? Rather than just auto-launching an obviously buggy updater? Because I'm getting HEARTILY sick of having to reinstall multiple times before I wind up with a successful, CURRENT VERSION of the program. Sorry if I come across bitchy here. I was trying to just slip in for a couple minutes to look at something before having to get back to work and that's all shot to hell now.

Additionally, creating the animations would be involved as well. While I'd LOVE it, with a team that's working for free, in their spare time, I don't think we're gonna see it any time soon.

Brutes still tend to dance on an edge. I'm a god! I'm a god! I'm a god! I'm a*CORPSE* Granted, this happens to high-end Tanks too. But the "swing" isn't usually quite so abrupt. I'm a god! I'm a god! I'm a god! OW! Heal. I'm a god! OW! OW! *CORPSE*

In a superhero MMO, EVERYONE is a "power gamer".

Basically you can right-click on Invincibility. Then, on the Info tab, there's a green slider. Saturated is all the way to the Right. Default minimum is 1, all the way to the Left. This still leaves you with a slightly unreal view of a build. I tend to go in and tweak Invincibility in the database so the minimum is 0. Your ENFC Defense is still uncapped.
-
Can we have an official tweak of Invincibility so that it's set to ZERO to ten enemies by default? Rather than having to fiddle it in the DB every time I upgrade... It's useful for obtaining Defense numbers when there are NO opponents in range, but they can still fire ranged attacks at you. Because the default of one can be misleading in certain types of combat.
-
Try again. You did the whole build with Saturated Invincibility. You're essetially 40/40/34 on your Typed defenses. And on that note, asked for an OFFICIAL DB tweak in Mids to allow Invincibility with ZERO enemies in range.

Face? Off? <Mot> Now you puny, insignificant <Face Off> *RRRRRIIIIIIPPPPP!!!* <Mot> OH! OH THAT HADDA HURT! GROSS MAN! Okay! You win! We're MUCH sicker than I am! I'm blowing this pop stand! <Teammate> Well. THAT was fast! But yeah. Dude. GROSS! How do you recover from that? <Face Off> I own stock in Velcro!

Supergroup base. Claim the items. Put them in SG storage. Pick them up on the alt account. Have your wicked, wicked way with them. Yes, this still leaves you screwed for activation temp powers. But for everything else...

"Oh Shit Button". ROP is nominally a faster-charging Unstoppable. It carries you through the first 90 seconds of an encounter at nigh-maxed Resists and the basic build STILL keeps that stuff in the "tickle fight" category. Gaussian, Full PM, Add a slot in health. Which then all compromise other aspects of the build. If I'm sitting at Incarnate Soft Cap and on 80%+ Resists, Regen and a Heal (with or without Absorb Shield) is kinda a "six of one, half dozen of the other type solution. Stealth: On an Invuln Tank ALREADY exceeding Incarnate Soft Cap Defense, Granite-class Resists and pretty much able to Tanker-Stealth their way through anything. Especially when I'm a big fan of Diamagnetic to Debuff ToHit. Unsure of the utility. If you want to slot LOTGs and Recharge, look at the link to my Invuln Framework stuff. That's the build you want. This build is meant for something else.
-
Why *ROP*? Tight build. Not really sure it's possible to build to that level of Incarnate Soft Cap Defense, high Big Six Resist AND picking up the Ancillary Resists without compromising. Also, ROP is a better option than Invuln's T9 (Unstoppable). It recharges faster and is crashless. Yes, the build forgoes high Recharge. But the idea is to basically deliver as Tank as is possible, and then an "Oh Shit" button to cover the odd times when Tox/Psi really matter. Yes, I'm aware I'm foregoing the chance to bump damage with the Gaussian. Stuff I build doesn't really rely on procs (Outside of Health and Stamina). I tend to prefer a very ""steady state" performance build. Maybe this makes me stupid. But it's how I am. IMNSHO, I view trying to chase positional Defense on a Typed build as wasteful. If you wind up with it as an unintended side-effect? C'est la vie. But actively chasing it meanse you're likely foregoing something in other areas. The Hurl+Char in this was basically purely set bonuses-related..

You could also use my Invuln Framework: Here's a sample of an Inv/SS Tank designed to max out Def/Res:

A stab..Just toss superspeed and superjump in. Put a KB in one and a slow resist in the other.

If you look at the YouTube page, you'll see it's Angelus Animi. He used several tools of Leandro's design, plus a bunch of hand-editing and donated costume files to put it together. You'll see me in there near the end, looking like I was jumping away as if launching for the War Walls. Joking around at the time about such "close visual inspection" later led to this video.

Just a Tanky, incomplete toss-together.
