  1. If you're looking for a generic IO build with a few goodies, a few million Inf. If you're looking to go balls-to-the-wall max-effect, you're looking at hundreds of millions or a few billion.
  2. Okay. Now THAT is just CRAZY TALK! And I'm sorry, but I'm *GASP!* in full agreement with Infinitum on this. (I know, I'm as shocked about that as the next guy!) A Tank's primary role is as an aggro controller. It's secondary roles is as a damage sink. And, somewhere down the line, damage output makes an appearance. While I have no problem with adding Stealth powers to a Tank, it doesn't change the fact that the purpose of stealth is directly at odds with the Tanking paradigm. This isn't denigration. It's just simple fact.
  3. And please note that I'm not talking down about using Stealth powers on a tank. No way to make the enemy crap themselves faster than to have an invincible brick wall (that they previously didn't notice) magically APPEAR right next to them and beat them down... Thug: This guard duty is so BO-RING! Unvanishing Juggernaut: I could fix that... Thug: HowAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!*SPLAT*
  4. If a Tank walks through your formations and you do NO DAMAGE WHATSOEVER, did he really exist?
  5. Tanker Stealth: Simply walking through enemies because you're so damn tough that they can't hurt you. See above.
  6. Bah! What Granite? (And please note this is with zero enemies saturating Invincibility.)
  7. Which is why I made an allowance for hyperbole.
  8. Sorry. But truth is truth. If you want to pretend otherwise, that's your problem. Have fun.
  9. Sorry but no. No it doesn't. The fact that you're so acclimated to putting Hasten on everything doesn't mean Hasten is in any way "mandatory". It's merely a min-maxing strategy.
  10. MANDATORY? Uh. No. This is a lie. Or, at best, rampant hyperbole. NOBODY is twisting your arm behind your back and screaming at you to "Take Hasten OR ELSE!!!" If you want to come up with a justification, come up with a justification. This is deception and weasel-wording to push a narrative.
  11. Except provide a buffer against debuffs and cascading Defense failure. And Incarnate content.... Except that 25% Defense roughly halves your damage-taken numbers. And every point of defense is more valuable than the last. The whole point is that these powers grow, enhance, and gel together AS YOU LEVEL UP. You don't take a power and insta-godmode. There are tradeoffs. Yet it's possible to get a balance of both. So you aren't a Tank, but you also aren't "Ze speed boosts! Zey do nuzzink!"
  12. You could always go Rad. YES, you'd still have to get in close. But Rad's equipped for it. And with a decent build, you become a demonic Roomba of death.
  13. Water is wet. Fire is hot. People will complain. Universal constants.
  14. Pff. Just remove the damn bars. Period. Screw faux letterboxing. It's rendering the whole damn scene anyhow. I may as well see it.
  15. WP's saving grace is that it's VERY low-maintenance. Just a quick stab.
  16. Pfft. Try playing at 6K. Click for full-size.
  17. Normally you do this with a slider bar at the bottom of the power's stats tab in the lower left-hand corner. If you're trying to do something where you want to allow for ZERO foes hit it takes a bit of database editing. In Mids... Options Advanced Database Editor Then Main Database Editor AT_Primary or AT_Secondary (Blaster_Ranged, Blaster Support, etc) Power Set Power Name Edit Under Power Scaling in the lower left-hand corner of the Edit Power (Basic) window.

    Stone/Regen

Here's a stab. Decent-ish Defense High Recharge (If you +5 the IOs in Hasten, you have Perma-Hasten)
  19. Maybe run HWMonitor in the background. And periodically check GPU temps when you get these slowdowns/lock ups.
  20. It's not that Confuse is weak. It just has a couple downsides to being used profligately. It's NOT like damage spamming.
  21. Stick with 27 right now. The bugs in the 3.0 build planner are non-trivial at the moment. Give the Mids crew a bit to baseball-bat it into shape.
  22. Alpha Incarnate screen has missing items. Of immediate note, T4 Spiritual Core.
  23. Hasten's text block says two minutes. The Duration says 30 seconds.
  24. First thing noticed in building an Energy Melee Super Reflexes Brute. Brute ATIOs are borked. BADLY. You can't slot a full set of them. They barf on the Quad-aspect. And even if you remove them all and clear the slots off, you can't slot them elsewhere...
  25. Also, consider that you get FAR more out of stacking Controllers and Doms than you do out of stacking Blasters or Corruptors. *Points to the legendary Fire/Rad super-team.* Legendary lock-down. Massive damage buffs. Massive Recharge and Endurance buffs, on top of normal things like stacking Defense. Bring a couple teams of them on a ship raid. Lock down the drop ship and kill it in short order. Then spend the entire bowl-phase of the raid at capped Recharge. Not the Fire/Rads (though them too). But EVERYONE.
