  1. A lot really depends upon what kind of character you are playing - if you have defense powers in your primary or secondary, then you're already set. If not, hover, evasive maneuvers, maneuvers, vengeance, combat jumping, weave, stealth, grant invisibility, and infiltration are great options, (not to mention if you have access to an APP or PPP that have additional forms of +DEF)...
  2. I like the idea of a "only my pets" option for the group travel powers. That being said, we need a way to control just how closely those pets follow the MM - we almost need a "maintain formation" type of setup, where they track much closer and more rigidly...
  3. You can have up to 5 of the same "buff", unless it explicitly says it is unique and you can only have 1 of them, and you'll need to slot them into different powers.
  4. This is the magic blast set all over again - the OP is conflating WHAT a power set does/provides with the background story/roleplay reasoning behind HOW it does it.
  5. Give the S/L AR attacks an "armor piercing" effect which reduces the enemy's RES vs further AR attacks, for a short while.
  6. Incorporate a warning like they have for selling salvage for recipes you own, and you should be good to go...
  7. You have to accept that seasonal events are going to pull people away from the regular stuff. Next, you have to understand that people are going to take the path of least resistance. Third, you have to be able to step outside of your own experiences/perceptions and try to be objective about things - it is just as likely, maybe even more likely, that the lowbie currently being PL'd by ToT-ing could turn out to be an excellent teammate once the event is over and things are back to normal, than they be some blubbering "noob" who knows nothing about how to play their character. Finally, any step you take to try and tweak the AFK timer for 'special circumstances" or otherwise empower people to remove others from teams, (instead of trying to persuade people to be more active), only serves to sour the game to them. For instance, a better "anti-AFK" approach may be to implement a system where you must cycle between the use of 3 powers within a 20 second period of time, in a fashion that does not exhibit the kind of precise power activation timer one would expect from a bot/script, in order to get the 5x XP from the event EBs or something. Even then, is the kind of work it would take to implement such a system the best use of developer resources? You could always try to create your own league and enforce the rules as you see fit, just to see how well it goes over...
  8. Wait... does the existence of Pocket D at all invalidate any of what I said?
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if things in the tailor window *are* organized, only by part ID or something, instead of their names, and that said listing order was hard-coded into how said parts were displayed...
  10. The damage buff was moved out of domination mode, and their power damage was adjusted, (see here).
  11. I wonder if you could give the league leader the option to designate "league deputies", up to 1 per team, who could perform the same duties as them, (save for affecting the league leader themselves).
  12. On a related note, league leaders need to be able to reassign individual team leads as well. As for the league leader themselves behaving badly, I don't think any sort of reassignment or voting option by other league members would go over well. If they go AFK for extended periods of time or are otherwise unattentive, then just leave...
  13. In Champions Online, they have a celestial set - the schtick there is that you can target allies to heal them, or enemies to deal damage. That would be an interesting mechanic, but may make tab-targeting difficult. Perhaps have a toggle that switches you from attack mode to healing mode, with some sort of effect that causes the target to receive reduced benefit from the heals if used too much in a short period of time, so bona fide healing sets aren't left out in the cold...
  14. Is it because war mace is smashing & stuns, whereas axe is lethal & knockups? I mean, the animations seems almost 1-for-1, otherwise, (not counting the upcoming changes).
  15. More weapon options - all for it. Reworking the entire set - I don't think it's needed.
  16. When did "running from a fight you can't win" stop being a thing? If you get in over your head, retreat is still an option...
  17. OK, but this 50 can't get incarnates, can only use SOs, can't use the enhancement upgraders, and can't gain threads/shards/empyreans/reward merits.
  18. Here's where the problems arise - what the above means to you does not necessarily mesh with what it may mean to the OP or other people. You need to articulate your ideas in a way that someone unfamiliar with your internal vision can understand. Do you want floating runes? Do you want concentric rings? Lots of horizontal/vertical lines? A rippling, wave-like appearance? Tell us something that gets your point across. You post a headshot of one of your characters, but not any of the powers you're looking for...
  19. You want to propose a new blast set that is more "controllerish" or has some new effects, go right ahead. You want to propose a set that summons tentacles or otherworldly entities, more power to you. You want to suggest a set that has some weird forced origin that "bypasses all resistances" or "doesn't manifest in reality", then you're going to get push-back. It is exceedingly relevant to point out that the actual primary and secondary powersets we can utilize are divorced from any specific origin. Your origin is simply flavor that describes the means through which your character produces the effect of their powers. There is smashing, lethal, fire, cold, energy, negative energy, psionic, and toxic damage. That's it! You don't get to introduce new damage types, you don't get to make your powerset wholly unresistable. You don't get to throw out any semblance of game balance or other such concerns in the name of "fun". Look at the existing powersets and work within that framework. Magic does exist within the game setting, and it is fairly well understood there. Even extradimensional gods within the setting play by those well-established rules. This is a video game inspired and influenced by comic books, pulp fiction, and so on - it is not a "let's throw out all the rules because I think X would be fun" sandbox to cater to any one person's wants or dreams...
  20. I suppose it depends upon your interpretation of things, but to me, the exclusion of any sort of taunt power or aura means to me that they are more intended to be a "stand your ground" ranged damage dealer than a blaster, that needs to leverage mobility. It's funny - depending upon which primary and secondary selected, my sentinels either end up feeling super-durable or more vulnerable...

    War Mace

    I really like radiation armor.
  22. Of all the Sentinels I've rolled up, my pistol/radiation one is the most fun to play, and sticking with cryo ammo most of the time time I have the same range as blasters. Still, I get your point, and that character's hilarious!
  23. It's a safe, neutral gathering place for players.
  24. How about allowing MMs the choice of summoning only 1 T1 or T2, but have them be of the same level as you...
