I really loved the Gameboy Advance. I know there are tons of Chinese handhelds that can play those games, but I think the architecture was solid, and with improvements like the SP and micro versions, and the games having enough depth to draw you in, such a console could really shine. With modern computers and how electronics costs have lowered, the console and games could be made inexpensively while still being of high quality...

If the OP's intent is to increase player competency, then disabling AE XP won't do that. Short of personally guiding each and every player to 50, there is no way to ensure that they reached it by whatever means the OP deems "legitimate", so I don't even know what they hope to achieve. Even with the later revised tutorials, CoH is still from an era where learning as you go was the norm, and sometimes that means several defeats. Let the AE farmers/farmees or power levelers do their thing - those that get bored at 50 will cycle through, while those that enjoy the game for what it has to offer will hang around and learn...

I still pop into CO once in a while, and while I love how many options you have for costume pieces/materials/etc, trying to create a character that has a human face is just a trial in frustration, there...

Here's Microsoft's article on Error Code 43. Basically, as you already figured out, it means the device isn't working properly. I've browsed a few other articles on the matter, and some are advising to try changing the power profile to "always on" and/or "maximum performance", and others are suggesting using a driver cleaner to completely remove all traces of the Nvidia drivers, then reinstall them. Anyway, keep us apprised!

Maybe see if there's a restore point you can try going back to, or if all else fails, try accessing the restore partition of the drive? Perhaps you could try to roll back to the GPU software suite provided by the laptop manufacturer instead of Nvidia directly? It's a bit extreme, but may be your only recourse.

Does the laptop have both an integrated GPU and the discrete one? If so, do you have an option in the bios, or through the graphics driver software, to force the game to use the discrete one?

I would start with all graphics settings turned down, then systematically start tweaking them up until you find which particular one is causing the biggest impact on performance. I am also assuming you've done the normal steps of checking that you have the latest drivers and such installed...

I think it'll ultimately boil down to what streaming services can provide additional value, like all the perks for having Amazon Prime. I also see different mobile carriers bundling various streaming services as the next big draw - pretty much all carriers have good coverage if you're in or near a major city. Unless a service gets a truly immensely popular show to anchor an audience, most folks, IMO, will probably wait for the season to complete then binge it, share a family or friend's account, or otherwise find it online somewhere...

It's not a full flap - it's kind of a weird "flex" if that makes any sense. I would definitely love to see not only the rocket boots, but also the various jetpacks, ignite when you jump...
