  1. Most likely illusion, for superior invisibility. Heck, if you're duo-ing, grant invis is probably enough...
  2. Agreed. SS + stealth was a pretty popular combo before there were any Stalkers...
  3. On a side note, didn't they have to rename the Dinobot, because "slag" is a rude word in England?
  4. Another quick way to make some "seed money" is to grab the Inner Inspiration power (for free if you haven't already taken Mystic Fortune or Secondary Mutation), from the P2W Vendor. Make sure you have 3 empty inspiration slots before you use it, and it'll give you 3 random medium or big inspirations. Depending on which ones you get, you can make up to 50,000 INF by selling them on the Auction House. There are many guides on how to make lots of INF, here. Cheers!
  5. The thing is, stealth is universally useful. Enemies already notice you and attack by default, so you don't need a power to make them do that. The presence pool also already includes an AoE taunt. I could see them adding a melee AoE damage IO set that includes either a proc or a constant effect that causes said melee AoE to also apply a taunt, since that's fitting with the specific focus of existing IO sets...
  6. That's the pattern that they follow...
  7. As others said, you get it from defeating enemies, completing missions, selling items to vendors/shops, in exchange for items listed to be sold on the auction house, and so on. The only caveat is if you use the XP boosters from the P2W vendor, which reduces your INF gain in exchange for better XP rewards. Also note that it is called "infamy" for villains and "information" for Praetorians, but is effectively the same...
  8. I think it's because the carnies were added after the 1-40 content, and they probably didn't feel like retroactively adding them to the older content...
  9. What would you envision for this?
  10. So I'm a little embarrassed to admit that, even though I have 100s of alts, I've only actually gotten a handful into Incarnates. Further, I typically use regular IOs, and some even just use 53 SOs. That being said, I have started to delve into the IO sets, and AOs. There are some really cool abilities to be found, but I was wondering, short of manually looking through the lists, if someone had already delved into all the "special" IOs - not just the unique ones, but ones like the LotG global recharge as well. Thank you for your input!
  11. You basically already can. Check out the various troops/ranks and their associated powers, here.
  12. This sounds great! I would love some generic options, though, (maybe even if it was just a recolor of the existing model, without any logos).
  13. Sometimes a good idea can be marred by a poor implementation; I think this is what we've seen on many other CoH servers. My first impulse may be "I want everything now", but seeing how many of these other servers have very low populations or are just otherwise buggy, I think taking our, (the devs'), time is the best approach...
  14. I think you misunderstood what I said. *I* am not saying I would call you any names or such; I agree that each channel should be used for its intended purpose. What I'm saying is that there are people who try and get others to respond to their bad behavior, as a way to try and turn things around on the ones calling them out...
  15. I agree, but if someone is chatting in those channels specifically to get a rise out of people, (i.e. trolling), telling them to take it elsewhere is just the opening they're looking for - watch for calls of you being a channel n@z! or such. If there was an official policy, then corrective action could be taken...
  16. For the second implementation, the initial adjustment to each set would be pretty simple; Replace the build up/aim-type power with 4 mutually exclusive toggles, each representing one of the elements. You would then need to add a debuff to each element, and a special interaction if an enemy with that debuff is struck by a different element. For instance: Water attacks would apply "drenched", which would case increased end drain and recovery debuff if hit with an electrical attack, a steam blast effect if struck with fire attacks, or some sort of landslide effect if struck with earth attacks., (all effects up for discussion, of course).
  17. Here's a sample for the 1st type: 1. Charged Bolts 2. Hydro Blast 3. Rock Shards 4. Rain of Fire 5. Elemental Dominion: Click power, long recharge. Tracks the next 2 attacks you use; If they are of different elements, you gain a self damage and tohit buff. If you use the same element for your next 2 attacks, you gain a self heal over time and defense buff. This power would also place a special "Elemental Dominion" buff on you, which would trigger any special effects the power might have, (like water burst with tidal power, or rock shards with seismic pressure). 6. Water Burst 7. Tesla Cage 8. Blaze 9. Meteor
  18. So we have fire, water, earth (seismic), and air (electricity) blast sets. You may be able to achieve all 4 elements, if you include certain epic pools and incarnate powers, but not in just a single set. I was doing some thinking, and there are basically 2 ways to achieve such a mixed set: 1. This is the simpler solution, and it would basically consists a mixture of existing powers, only smooshed into 1 set, (I'm thinking 2 from each element, with the last being a special build-up or toggle power that provides some special effect or bonus for each element). 2. A set that allows the character to freely switch between each of the 4 elements - each, individually, would be weaker than their single-element counterpart, which would be counterbalanced by some interaction between differing elements. For instance, maybe attacking an enemy with a water power, then electricity, would deal added damage, or fire then cold would cause some sort of thermal shock effect. It'd be much more complex to code, as you'd basically have to code like 16 versions of every power, (1 per element for no special interaction, then 1 for each of the 3 different elements).
  19. It may be tricky and/or expensive to do, but I'd love to see an anime or western animation take on the RIFTS RPG. I'd also love to see a Terminator series that strictly dealt with the future war, as depicted in T1 and T2; have it be about some no-name soldier or group of soldiers, and not focused on John Connor.
  20. Because the Incarnate system is not tied to builds at all, this may be complicated. Still, it would be cool to have.
  21. Darkness mastery does get a cone immob, but that'd require getting 2 other powers from the set. You could also take caltrops and throw in a slow or three...
  22. As I see it, there are a few ways things can go, here: 1. Mods/GMs/Devs make an official statement on the matter and start enforcing the "proper" use of each official chat channel. 2. Players continue to try and self-moderate/internally-moderate the official channels, with mixed results. 3. The official chat channels become a free-for-all, and players just have to deal with it. In my experience, while it can get annoying at times, (and no doubt there are some people that troll these channels looking to get arise out of someone), it's not so bad that it drowns out people using these channels for their intended purpose...
  23. I'm confused by the use of the word "necessary" in this context. Of course it's not "necessary". My charitable interpretation is that you're asking if provoke would get enemies to gather to maximize the damage of burn, in which case, it's a definite "maybe"...
  24. I don't think you'd need to go that far - just have it stay under the character like it does now, then just treat all powers as though you were standing on a solid object, (only prohibiting powers that specifically need you to be on the ground to be in line with other flight powers).
