  1. I prefer my suggestion from another thread; Allow us to pick up and fireman's carry NPCs to where they need to go...
  2. The solution is quite simple - talk to your teammates before you actually play any content. However, if you join an existing team, then it is incumbent upon you to ask the questions and/or decide to leave if you don't like how said team chooses to conduct themselves. OTOH, start your own team, express how you would like to run things, and if you can get others to agree to that play style, then more power to you! I mean, you *have* to play in some manner, so better to talk to your teammates and come to some sort of agreement...
  3. I'm always happy to find people rediscovering CoH/Homecoming. That being said, it also irks me when people essentially come across as "people should play the game in my prescribed way". Couch it in whatever flowery terms you want, but as soon as you say "people shouldn't play in X way, (assuming we're not talking about those that "roleplay" as racists/etc), then you've lost me. Play the game however you want, (again assuming you aren't breaking the ToS/community guidelines), let others do the same, and feel free to try and convince others why playing in your preferred manner is better...

  6. I'm all for more MM options, but I don't think making them attainable via a "special Task force" would make sense. It would be cool if you could simply opt to combine your 3 tier-1's into 1 more survivable/harder hitting per, and something similar for your 2 tier-2's...

  8. It's hard to boil it down to 1 power across all circumstances, so I'll list my "top few", (in no particular order): 1. Propel - it looks cool, and allows you to fling around some pretty interesting objects. 2. Mystic Flight - I like the combination of flight & teleport it offers, and the teleport effect is cool. 3. Corrosive Enzymes - I just get a kick out of how you create a flower around your arm that kind of "blooks" out an acidic seed/pod/pollen. 4. Corruption - Gotta love the whip! 5. Call Hawk - Love the animation! 6. Stone Spear - The foot stomp and subsequent eruption of spiky stones/crystals looks and feels powerful.

  13. I like the idea - perhaps have the animation play out over whatever time interval it takes to complete the teleport...
  14. I would really like to see options for the various foot patterns that have the soles take the primary or secondary color, as a separate part of the coloration.
  15. I'm not familiar with what you're talking about regarding the P2W vendor - do you mean the "only affecting self" one? As for the original suggestion, are you saying what they wanted was a costume change that is tied to a power duration? Regardless, if that's all that's being asked for, then fine...

  18. The issue is that the emblems need to be contoured to fit the area(s) they would be placed onto - that's why, if you look from certain angles, they appear to be floating above certain chest options. Still, this would be fantastic!

  20. From my understanding, the issue has to do with "attachment points" on the character model. I'm sure it's not impossible, but it's a matter of how much work they're willing or able to devote to this. I wonder if an alternative solution would be to offer some generic tops/chest patterns that were simply solid but with an emblem on them, then you could apply a regular chest detail...
  21. I tend to agree; Give us more, but generic/non-faction-oriented MM sets. I could see, if possible, them adding various skin options for the existing MM sets, with "Arachnos" and other such existing groups being available...
  22. Was it the Moorlocks in X-Men that mostly had disfiguring mutations, with only a small number of them actually being useful for combat or anything? I also recall, (though not a mutant), that the series "Empowered" was a play on what superpowers would be like without all the requisite secondary effects - like a suit that makes you super strong, but it is very fragile, and you can't wear anything under it...
  23. That's the tradeoff for having the extra levels of protection and utility. Pick up a teleport power if you want a better way to move around...
  24. No need to knock the person out. Heck, you could still have them speak (speech bubbles) as you're carrying them out...
  25. I can't see them adding more options to automate things within the game. If you want to do things "for fun", why can't you just do them yourself - create a macro or bind to change costume as needed, etc...
