  1. You need to do a character showcase! National Defense is a favorite that I've teamed with, this Winter character sounds cool too.
  2. Too be fair, I only recently discovered that hitting the ESC key turns off the combat stance. And I've been playing for a while 😁
  3. Based on the lack of replies to your post back in 2019, I'd say you are the only one who has noticed this. 😅
  4. Well I appreciate the news - I guess I always assumed that all procs were auto hit as long as they were high enough in probability of their PPM. It makes sense though now that I think about it. A power like Infrigidate comes to mind, which can be slotted with debuff procs and damage procs, but if the damage procs never missed, that would've left a bit weird precedent.
  5. I didn't know that! I've always wondered by certain procs I've slotted weren't landing, even with the 95% chance to proc being achieved for the PPM rate. I had no idea procs had separate to-hit. Is their to-hit affected by buffs? Like if I smack 'Aim,' would it improve the chances of a proc not missing?
  6. That experience doesn't sound good! But jumping back to the topic at hand though, the HC Team has always communicated through both channels. When it was updated on the official HC Discord, it was updated 22 hours later on the HC forums. Needless to say, literally two things were changed and they were not significant changes in my opinion. They posted the patch notes when they could. Volunteers and all.
  7. Working as intended. DE exist in a lot of zones. They're in the Hollows as well.
  8. This reads like an opinion piece about super hero videogames, not really Homecoming specifically. Neither for or against, I suppose. I wish I had a platform to rant and get paid for it!
  9. I wasn't responding to your post - I was responding to the OP. Sorry for the confusion.
  10. The patch occurred on October 19th and the notes were posted on the October 20th. That is a respectable turn around. And the forums aren't the only platform for communication between the HC team and the players. It is both the Official HC Discord AND the HC Forums.
  11. My understanding is that the Galaxy City zone of yore is still in game, but there are not any accessible routes (at least not after the HC team patched the only route I knew). Edit: Yep, its listed as Zone 29.
  12. When a player loses all of the health points, they are defeated. Period. That is how this game works. So no feelings necessary, or whatever you are claiming your opinion is.
  13. Echo right? Yeah that is a tough one I haven't found yet either. But if you mean Galaxy City, it is still in game via tutorial...
  14. Yeah, I can agree to this when it concerns new players, especially if they've never done a Hamidon raid - adding something that indicates potential strategy concerns to the mission initiation dialog would be a nice warning (as opposed to learning from trial and error). That seems reasonable. I don't see this warning as needed for the rest of the player base though - if you are fighting Hamidon, even in a weakened state, it needs to be held. That is a pretty well understood strategy that dates back to Issue 0 on legacy, as far as raiding goes. Even for the folks who have never done a Lady Grey Task Force before, odds are they are going to team up with someone who has.
  15. I think there are already enough inspiration in this game. Adding more would further trivialize the game's mechanics. But if you're trying to have a fire sale and bring everything down to the level of ease that would pose no threat or challenge I recommend running Mender Ramiel's arc where the player gets the freeeeeeeem power and all their attributes maxed out. It's actually really boring playing this way.
  16. The powers are there already for players to use. The HC team doesn't need to make this change. I don't support giving a player a temporary hold power in the LGTF. Why give a player a hold when that would defeat the purpose of teaming with a controller, corruptor, defender, or dominator - in fact, any AT can have a hold if they select the right Epic or Patron power pool. Any AT can purchase the temp power I noted above and any AT can grab the day job power as well. It would also make this task force easier than it already is. Leave the onus on the players to solve the challenge using the means given to them.
  17. Yep there's been a gapping hole in Siren's Call geometry since live, and while an attempted fix was made by the HC Team, it actually made the hole bigger and easier to get though in order to get below the zone.
  18. You get the device to Penny, who in turn uses her psychic powers to destroy it. From the souvenir: "...if a powerful enough psychic were to order it to alter it's own history so that it would never work again, the threat could be neutralized, permanently. As Agent G explained, the amount of psychic power that would take would be beyond Aurora Borealis, but would be well within the limits of the most powerful known psychic on the planet: A girl named Penelope Yin..."
  19. Thank you for putting in all that work and sharing it with the community.
  20. Yeah, I hear ya. I love seeing the almost defeated Council enemy break out in to a giant werewolf. That's a story I'm interested in! Just like seeing Void Hunters in missions!
  21. Interesting question. Technically, I think the system in place lets things like this go up to whatever level it wants. Then again, I've never seen or made it happen. 50+5 is as far as I've seen - but it used to be 50+3 as the cap, so I guess it could conceivably go higher.
  22. I like that these pieces are easily destroyed. Makes me think of a bull in an antique store where everything is destroyed easily because the bull is so powerful. I just can't suspend disbelief if a canvas painting or clay pottery doesn't shatter instantly. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME REALISM IN THIS MAKE BELIEVE WORLD!!! 🤣
  23. I guess I never stopped and thought about it. Now that I have, I don't care one way or the other. This is a fictional game based on bits and pieces of real world history to provide just enough level of realism. At the end of the day, in this fictional world, I am a superpowered being that completes missions to gain influence and infamy (or in another dimension, information).
  24. They are just patch notes. They'll get around to posting them when they have time. There wasn't an official list of the patch notes on the HC Discord, just mentioned in conversation. That's how Discord is. I'm confident the patch notes will be posted on these forums when they can.
