🦇 Batman: Caped Crusader 🦇
Glacier Peak replied to Glacier Peak's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
I'm going to profess that I went ahead and watched the rest of the episodes. I'm going to keep my comments spoiler free and short. This is not the Batman series I hoped for after watching all 10 episodes. "Who are these characters," I kept asking myself that. They might share the same names as previous Batman allies and rogues, but they are not my celebrated Batman characters. Maybe the next generation will appreciate and connect with them. Maybe I'm not really the target audience anymore. Really let down overall. If you miss the Batman: The Animated Series tv show and were hoping to see this as a spiritual successor - it's not, at all. Just go rewatch Batman: The Animated Series instead and you won't be disappointed. Edit: I just could not get over how blocky the characters design was. There were scenes where Comissioner Gordon's body was an actual square. -

Please use spoilers for posts like this. -
I like that you're adding the lore aspect - that's something that the Labyrinth rewards players with well if they pay attention. I'd love to see @Cobalt Arachne give their Developer Diary entry for this (like they did with the Dr. Aeon Strike Force many years ago!) that might provide some light confirmations or hints for where this fits in with the greater City of Heroes universe. I'd say that's close, but there is some lore hidden in the power descriptions for some of the Labyrinth enemies that touch on this. For example, the Malevolent Fog have a power called "Fog of Catastrophe," and by digging in to the wonderful resource of City of Data, it has the following power description: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=event.labyrinth_aether.health "The Malevolent Fog is but an aspect of the Fog of Catastrophe and will swell in response to the subconscious fear of those surrounding it." https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=temporary_powers.temporary_powers.labyrinth_aether "Unrefined Fog: The Labyrinth of Fog is the source of a thick mythical fog with metaphysical properties that enables the maze to be the spatial anamoly that it is. The Core's natural fog is too polluted by divine malevolence for mortal use without alchemical refinement. Steeping oneself in its pure essence will very quickly overwhelm an individual's soul and cause insanity." Daedalus has his own powers with Fog-related descriptions (albeit, some descriptions are direct copy and paste from Positron - like Enervating Field of Fog's description). https://cod.uberguy.net/html/powerset.html?pset=event.labyrinth_daedalus Probably the best source is the Minotaur entry - https://cod.uberguy.net/html/powerset.html?pset=event.labyrinth_minotaur Particularly, the power "Fog Given Form" "If threatened, The Minotaur In The Fog can condense the fog around those foreign to it and call the maze's Gladiators In The Fog to combat. This will spawn Gladiators In The Fog near all players within 250ft of the Minotaur. When cornered, the Minotaur will attempt to sow chaos on the battlefield by beckoning forth the souls of those who lost their minds to the Fog of Catastrophe, using an ancient lust for battle as a smokescreen." I think you meant "content" here.

I thought the term was bridging. "LF Level 41 bridge, come to Portal Corp."

What is this? If it's not in the patch notes, where did you get it?

🦇 Batman: Caped Crusader 🦇

The building animation style I believe is unique to the B:TAS - I haven't seen it anywhere else outside of Bruce Timm' series. Seeing it resurrected, so to speak, was a delight. -
🦇 Batman: Caped Crusader 🦇
Glacier Peak replied to Glacier Peak's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Well, I've watched the first episode. It was kind of jarring - with the biggest names attached as Producers for this animated series, I set my expectations high. Especially since Bruce Timm was onboard. Having been Batman: The Animated Series (BTAS) fan since childhood, I was the target audience for this show. With spoilers, here's what I thought: -

This is a good point - I've seen teams trying to take down GWW without destroying his generator lol -
Labyrinth of Fog Secret Locations [SPOILERS]
Glacier Peak replied to Final Overlord's topic in Open Beta Testing
The bugged door on the Orange 5th Column Cave map is the suspected location that leads to the Orange Floor Secret Room, however, as both @lemming and I have pointed out, players are currently unable to open the door to pass through - instead it acts as a randomizer door and sends the player to 1 of 40 different floors in the zone. -

Seed of Hamidon perhaps? Oh, and I just opened up the Auction House and started chugging all the good Inspirations. Solo gotta do what a solo gotta do. Also, shameless plug for my new Giant Monster Hunting Guide. -

This might help you too!

Not trying to be rude - do you already have it maybe? It should be here on your badge list: I believe this is referring to the NPC dialog that occurs before you click on them. There is a chance they can turn hostile before you have the Mote of the Gladiator, but if you DO HAVE the Mote of the Gladiator active, they will turn hostile when you click them.

You need to defeat 25 Gladiators in the Fog to receive this badge. It's a Defeat badge, the tracker is in the Defeat badges section.

Can you quit out of the Ouro story arc and grab it again? Does it happen again?

I was going to say Crayons haha

Badger has not updated with the new badges for me yet. Do you know you're quoting a post from 5 months ago? AboveChemist has said they will get to updating the site with the Issue 28, Page 1 badges when they have time. It's not automatic - it takes considerable effort as only one person is doing the updates.
