  1. I appreciate you sharing this - I too have the 8700K CPU and I've been debating whether upgrading my GPU (currently a GTX 1080) to a 40 series would make any noticeable impact on my gaming experience with CoH. Sounds like we have the same framerates - what display resolution are you using? I'm hitting the same frames at 1440p.
  2. That's something I hadn't taken in to account either, thanks for pointing that out.
  3. I've been waiting to upgrade my graphics card, but... You should also check out:
  4. And we park in driveways and drive in parkways.
  5. I saw my time added in to the full spreadsheet, (thank you!) but I don't see it (or any entry for Corruptor) on the: Short List Leaderboard Bellow are the current top times by AT Can I get my time added to that or is that list for every AT except Corruptor? 😄
  6. Ah! That's what @Ukase linked earlier - so the minus in the resistance category is exactly what I was looking for.
  7. That's right, I used to read that book all the time for build crafting.
  8. Oh man, if you find out please share. It's a slog getting a stack of a thousand moved over - yeah the button smashing to get it posted is easier. At least once they are sold I can just hit a button to get my inf.
  9. If this gets me the Arena headset paired with a neck cover, I'm down!
  10. That's my hope - using either of those resources to find out weaknesses. There's a lot of enemies though, so I was hoping someone had already put in the leg work 😅
  11. Well to do, meaning they've got the time or expertise to accommodate my inquiry. And it looks like you're describing enemy resistance, not enemy weakness. So in your example, the enemy Tactical Operative has 20% resistance to Smashing Damage and 25% resistance to Lethal Damage. Which means if a player attacked that enemy with that type of damage, the enemy resistance would decrease the player damage by a % of the typed damage. I'm looking for enemy damage weakness. So, continuing with your example, if the Tactical Operative had a -20% resistance to Smashing Damage - that would be a weakness, as far as I can tell.
  12. Tech, this made me laugh out loud! You are a treasure in this community!
  13. What are my enemies weaknesses! I am learning something new every day about this game that's been around for decades. What a great thing - to be ignorant, but curious! I'm sure many of you have looked for ways to get the most out of your characters. Or maybe you have wanted to know how certain things work behind the curtain. Well I am curious about something I've never taken in to account when I play this game - that is my enemies weaknesses. I've known about enemy resistance, or how much an enemy is able to mitigate incoming damage - but enemy weaknesses is not well known to me. Many years ago, @Galaxy Brain put in a ton of work and built a spreadsheet with data describing enemy resistance. Has any well-to-do member of the community put in the time to find the weaknesses of the enemy groups of the game? I've been told on Discord that some enemy groups (and specific entities) are weak (which I assume means -dmg resistance?) to Psychic damage, such as the Minotaurs and Cyclops, Brickernauts, and Paragon Protectors. Or is there a resource out there that describes it? I've looked through CoD, but there are thousands of entities in the database!
  14. As of: 15 April 2024 Run Type: Pylon Time Archetype: Corruptor Primary Powerset: Ice Blast Secondary Powerset: Cold Domination Time in seconds: 98 seconds with Offensive Amplifier, 97 seconds without Offensive Amplifier. Burst: Sustained Hybrid: Yes Number of Runs: 5 Version: 3 Video Link: N/A Notes: Ice Elemental pet from Ice Mastery Epic Pool Powerset was used. Offensive Amplifier was used on 98 second run - accuracy is atrocious and pet still wandering to other Pylon mid-fight, could've been another 5-7 seconds better. Build: Corruptor (Ice Blast - Cold Domination) - Glacier Peak.mbd
  15. You're not likely to see the Decimation: Chance for Build Up (DCBU) proc go off in Telekinetic Blast, so you may as well either put that slot elsewhere or swap it with the Decimation: Dmg/Rech IO if you're trying to maintain the recharge set bonus. DCBU is 1 PPM, slotted in a 1 second cast time and 8 second base recharge power, with 38.6% recharge slotted. That's a 12.67% chance of the proc going off or what I would consider not worth it. That's about all that jumps out at me. I would build this out on the beta server where everything is free and test it out before investing the billions of inf that it will cost on the live servers.
  16. I wasn't much in to build optimization for the last four years or so, but after trying out some new stuff and getting a better understanding of the powerset combo I have been using for the past four years, I found that it's pretty cool to have the 2 acc/dmg Dsync/HOs and 4 dmg procs. I crank out a ton of damage, like the most I've ever dealt. It hasn't made the build any more fun that it was for the past four years, but it does feel like I'm getting the most out of the attack powers now. Have you tried the Soulbound Allegiance: Chance for Build Up in a pet? I had no idea it could proc 2-3 times!
  17. @Koopak has nobody posted Corruptor times in this thread or were they just not added to the clear times list of Archetypes?
  18. What's this mean? I thought the formula for PPM was for slotted recharge. Formula for Single Target Attacks: ((Base Recharge/(1+Recharge Slotted)+Activation Time)xPPM/60) Does Agility and Spiritual do something weird to powers with no slotted recharge? Edit: Well after reading the Homecoming wiki, turns out PPM is affected by Alpha Incarnate Agility and Spirtual slots. Note: For this calculation, "Enhanced Recharge Time" includes reductions from enhancements and Alpha slotting, but not from Luck of the Gambler bonuses, other enhancement set bonuses, Hasten, or other recharge buffs.
  19. @Bananiac @TrixieKixx @Midnyte @Burnt Umber @Jaxman100 For your exploration entertainment, the Rikti War Zone Nemesis Easter Egg Directions (from Lady Grey):
  20. You must've been ignoring the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct language every time you've played since 2019, because it's been there since the beginning of Homecoming. I'd reach out to a GM if you're looking for further explanation. Lambasting the rules in a thread isn't going to help you.
  21. This! It would perfectly tie in to Piecemeal's personal story ending Issue 27and canonize the map server event in the game lore!
