Busiest Time of the Year - R3n4m3M4g3dd0N!!
Glacier Peak replied to Troo's topic in General Discussion
Seems like it was a good decision after all. Congrats to the folks who finally got their namesakes and other sought after names. I haven't had any names I've wanted, so I'm not too interested. -
PSA: Bonus XP on Lower Populated Shards Coming to an End
Glacier Peak replied to Lunar Ronin's topic in General Discussion
Hey you're right! The post from the patch notes about the Labyrinth said that Windfall stacks with the increased xp and inf rewards from the zone, so it looks like even the dev team thought Windfall boosts inf. Fight For Rewards & Gain Level Shifts! Experience & Influence earned in the zone increased by 25% This stacks with other power such as Experience Boosters or Windfall. There were a few bug reports a while back about this, based on my search. Looks like it made the description change!- 56 replies

Where do the Kheldian vanity pets fit in to lore I wonder. Are they one of those cool things that don't affect the story or did any kind of canon/lore make their way in to maybe the descriptions of them?

Lord Recluse Mini-Pet Available for the month of November!
Glacier Peak replied to Glacier Peak's topic in General Discussion
WOW! Nice work! The Prestige costumes look like Mt. Everest compared to the mole hill that was Vanity pets to me at least. I've snagged a few just to get in to the hang of spending Prismatics, but it looks like I'll be after them for a good bit of time (good thing!). -
PSA: Bonus XP on Lower Populated Shards Coming to an End
Glacier Peak replied to Lunar Ronin's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, Windfall doesn't boost XP - I use it to even out the difference between inf and XP, since most of the boosts players can get in game only go only to XP. Edit: Oh, and yes that looks right for the Lab increase. Experience & Influence earned in the zone increased by 25%- 56 replies

For folks out there who enjoy collecting these little vanity pets, the Lord Recluse Mini-Pet is now available (for the rest of the month of November) to acquire from Luna for a cheap 2005 Reward Merits. There's two other mini-pets that are locked to specific months of the year as well. The Statesman Mini-Pet is available only during the month of May for 2004 Reward Merits. The Tyrant Mini-Pet is available only during the month of August for 2010 Reward Merits. These months and reward merits are tied to the months and years of release for City of Heroes, City of Villains, and Going Rogue. And relatedly, I've finally collected all of the vanity pets currently in-game! It's been a fun journey and an excellent side quest for me getting the rare drops before the Giant Monster mini-pets had better drop rates and collecting reward merits for the three locked to specific times of year mini-pets. The Kheldian Mini-Pets were probably my favorite (I ended up getting two from drops and I bought the other two off the Auction House). The Mini-Hero 1 pet was probably the most grindy, as it costs 10,000 Vanguard Merits to acquire. I look forward to seeing more vanity pets in the future. I'm still missing that Vanguard MDC, but I think that ends up being an accolade power? How is everyone else who enjoys collecting these vanity pets doing? Anyone who enjoys collecting vanity pets excited about acquiring the P.E.A.C.E. Drone mini pet (Hint: it's already on the Auction House, just none for sell!).

Did anyone try via Ouroboros? Edit: Nevermind, original post indicates yes. 'Only Love Can Hurt Like this' - Ashling Corlett (Level 41-49) Ashling Corlett is a veteran of Paragon City, even if you've never heard of her. When the Shivan attack hit Galaxy City she was in the thick of the Hero Corps rescue detail, only leaving after directly ordered to despite suffering serious injury. As a result she moved to the Hero Corps reserves, but she hasn't been idle. There's things left undone and she means to finish them, even if it means crossing a few lines to do it. Reach out to Ashling and her Hero Corps reserves, there's work to be done! CONTACT: Ashling Corlett LOCATION: Steel Canyon (/thumbtack -4736.0 0.0 395.4) ALIGNMENT / LEVEL: Hero - Level 41+ OUROBOROS / ARC: Captain (40-49) - 28.01

Halloween Event EBs - costume toggles
Glacier Peak replied to Ukase's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The Giant Mummy and the Dark Vampire Elite Bosses are available only during the Halloween Event from The Halloween Event vendors in Croatoa, red side and gold side. A Fir Bolg costume is also part of this exclusively. During the Winter Event, same goes but from the Candy Keeper. They cost 10 Prismatic Aethers each. -
It's wild - I haven't seen any enemies that have resistance to -MaxHP, so it just drops the enemy HP by 500 or more without fail. Then the proc that I have slotted in it might do another 70 damage that's resisted based on type. Either way it hits like a truck and can be recharged quickly with stacks of Shifting Tides I think.

Signature Task Force and powers

They didn't put that in to the ChatGPT prompt, that's why it doesn't show in the original post. -
Signature Task Force and powers
Glacier Peak replied to Wingslord24's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The OP updated their original post to remove reference to other video game characters that the ChatGPT-like program pulled information from. I quoted the original post in my first reply in the thread. And in before "Sorceress Serene's body was taken over by War Witch, so that makes it true" -

War Witch, who only exists as a NPC and mission ally, does not have those powers. Here is a list of all of the powers War Witch has in game. -
Signature Task Force and powers
Glacier Peak replied to Wingslord24's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
If you're going to have that kind of attitude then... The only enemy group that uses these powers are Talons of Vengeance (which War Witch is not a part of). The only enemies in the entire game who use Autumnal Equinox and Harvest Blade is the Diviner enemy and the Archvillain Sorceress Serene. -

ChatGPT, is that you? Edit: Original post quoted above for reference. Looks like the OP made another attempt to tighten up the output so that characters from other games weren't referenced incorrectly. -
I don't know if anyone mentioned this in the thread yet, but Brine is incredible. On a Corruptor, you can get Brine to do over 500 -MaxHP to a target (more with the Degenerative Core Interface Incarnate ability) by fully slotting the Touch of Nictus set (and taking the Vigor Alpha Incarnate ability) and you can apply multiple stacks on a target fairly easily (duration 60 seconds, base recharge 60 seconds). And other Marine Affinity powerset users can also apply the debuff on the same target to stack it as well. Looking at the rest of the powersets that contain -MaxHP out there.... (I don't see any actually) this is a great stand out power for the powerset and I'm really enjoying using it on big HP sacks like Mole Machines or AVs.
-
Seismic Blast is pretty fun, same with Marine Affinity. I'd say if you're not looking for something new that has any kind of gameplay mechanic, stick with the old vanilla powersets that let you roll your face on the keyboard and you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't find the through the link, so here's a screenshot. @Player-1, did the pipeline get clogged two years ago? 😁

Interesting to see Mastermind Henchmen receiving the zone wide Level Shifts inside the Labyrinth of the Fog raid zone. A Level 50+10 Mastermind (assuming 10 Level Shifts active or a combination of them plus Alpha slot and Draught of the Fog inspiration) will have Henchmen at previously unobtainable levels. Fight For Rewards & Gain Level Shifts! Pets (including Mastermind and Lore) also receive the zone-wide Level Shift buffs.

Satisfactory is a lot of fun. Started playing during update 3 - glad to see it make it to 1.0 and full release. It's really easy to sink hundreds of hours in to a save in that game.
