Yeah pretty much KOTR 3 with a nice coop level 10 repeatable mission.

Definitely Willpower. Make sure to turn sprint off when doing a lot of fighting. Grab quick recovery at level 20. After that you should be set on End recovery. Regen can do that at level 4. But if you want to go that route, go scrapper. Since scrappers get less aggro on teams. If this is for solo stuff at +0 / x1 though. Learning the game stuff. Regen is fine.

Nice. Yeah maybe limit it to Lts or Bosses and make it a percentage chance. If possible, this would be both cool and immersive.

Can one of the more mathematically gifted run the DPA attack chain numbers for ST WM EM as is EM with ET reverted to old animation That might help here a lot. WM is one of the best ST sets, so thats probably a great baseline as mentioned above.

More a case of realizing that law and truth are not the same thing. And that a big corporation is not fighting fair with a small indie company in the courtroom. Besides the fact plagiarism is hard to prove. Your linked article seemed only to include stuff about the Tardigrade. Maybe that's all the court case covered. But in the assertions prior to the case, several other similarities were noted. If I do the same book for a book report as you do. That's a weird coincidence. If I also decide to do the same science project and my current events article is the same, and my art collage looks a lot like yours its suspicious. That's why I wondered about the timing of STD concept materials. And how they may have varied. If you are right, then STD (and this indie game) are both highly derivative works. Which is normal for sci fi, if a bit unimpressive. But if Redlynne's suggestion is right, then some small game company was basically ruined by a large media company, all because some of their creative team lacked integrity. As otherwise noted apparently not the same team that gave us earlier Treks. But people new to Science Fiction.

Seems rather PA. You might not convince me, but you might convince other people. As to the legal bit. Sure legally they did not plagiarize. That doesn't automatically follow it was their work in truth. I am interested in knowing why there were such similarities if the dates are as suggested. It seems to stretch credulity such things evolved completely independent of each other.

Well fairness I suppose. Letting the magic people get the same as the tech people. I always have natural or tech concepts so doesn't matter to me personally. But I see no functional difference between a sky raider jet pack and a magic broomstick. -
Yeah, you are doing fine for a level 35 build. For Epic/ patrons there are a few choices One that works great with willpower is Soul Mastery because of Shadow Meld a big defense buff power that can help soak up alphas. Weapon mastery is nice because Caltrops can slow down incoming damage quite a bit, allowing your regen to work. Body mastery is popular because it helps with End issues. But usually WP does fine there. My first goal with WP on scrapper builds is to get around 30% S/L defense and 60% S/L resist. I find this level lets me compete with the /SRs and /invuls on the Alpha soaking at high level. (Due to the huge Regen of RTTC) For MA attacks I like to 6 slot mine. And since you seem okay with crippling axe kick, you can probably move towards removing Thunder Kick and picking up Crane Kick. But what you have also works. A lot of people skip CAK for Crane Kick for Animations even though CAK is better. So having both is not mandatory. MA is one of the best sets for ST attack flexibility. A good low budget 6 slot would be 4 ST attacks with 6 slots, slotted with 4 Kinetic Combats and 2 Crushing impacts. That gives decent enhancement values and +15% S/L def and +6% S/L resist

Rise to the challenge is your big regen power. So add slots to that soon. You can put Kinetic Combats (- the proc) in those 4 slotted attacks for a big 3.75% S/L defense gain each. If you can't afford those, Smashing Haymaker can do the job. If you run into end problems, looks like you haven't slotted stamina yet.

Why not just make the actual travel powers have higher caps? Slowing the jetpacks would really make certain missions that require them (and hand them out as temp powrers) very clunky. -

My point was that just pointing out the case was dismissed does not mean the ideas were not stolen. And its less likely to be proof of that in a court case where the sides are unequal. Its a pretty high bar to prove plagiarism in works like this. And being unable to prove plagiarism does not mean things were not lifted wholesale. However there is some reason these works have so many similarities in concepts, and even visuals. There are similarities beyond just the tartagrade. It makes no sense the artwork for two of the characters in a SS relationship closely resemble the doctor and the engineers in STD for example. That's a pretty big coincidence. Assuming the relative dates are accurate, I'm at a loss to come up with an alternative explanation. As to the obscurity of the game ... well that's just it. If you are stealing someone's work, you should pick something obscure. Less likely you will get caught. Usually the big studio has the sense to buy the obscure IP so these accusations are not made. Usually for peanuts. I will point out the game this little guy was making is now ruined. So if Discovery did steal the guys work, they also destroyed it.
