  1. For this many procs I prefer Tanks. But it’ll be fun either way.

  3. For group kill speed, Plant is king. For single target kill speed and “can solo anything” status, Illusion is king. For secondaries, Storm and TA will add the most damage. Maybe Traps a bit too. There’s always Kinetics ofc too.

    This. You want to identify areas where procs could affect multiple powers on the same pet. Guessing Cloud Senses would have the best effects on Lich if they can be slotted on that. I think Achilles’ Heel works ok on Grave Knight.

  7. Lately I’ve been trying to imagine what could be made to be to most hated character ever. I’m thinking Grav/Dark/Mako for double AoE intangibility powers plus knockback, with Group Fly, Team Teleport, and Incandescence. 6-slot every Presence pool power just to be sure. I’m sure the name “Kick Me” is taken though.

  9. Where are you street sweeping and under what conditions (level, etc.)? Street sweeping is already very lucrative in some places at some levels, so you need to be more specific about what you think needs attention.
  10. I loved PvP on live, loved it in other games, sure like dying a lot, like optimizing builds/attacks/procs, etc. But it’s not always about that. CoH HC PvP is something I can no longer do for CoH HC PvP specific reasons. So be wary of broad brushes 😉
  11. I don’t believe any origin pool travel powers allow you to enhance both the travel power and the auxiliary power and that makes a lot of sense because it’d be double dipping on enhancement slots.
  12. So, I’m frequently torn between two specific ways to slot my ATO’s on any Tanker with a damage aura. And I’m awfully addicted to Tankers since the rework so it comes up a lot. Because I don’t solo AV’s that often or pay enough attention sometimes to constantly triple stack ATO procs with single target attacks, I’m in the camp that prefers to slot the 6% +res proc in a damage aura when possible. So here’s my dilemma: Slotting 1: Damage aura slotted with 6 Superior Might of the Tanker Another power slotted with 6 Superior Gauntleted Fist Slotting 2: Damage aura slotted with 5 Superior Might of the Tanker, plus 1 Superior Gauntleted Fist proc Another power slotted with 3 to 5 Superior Gauntleted Fist The dilemma: 12% +S/L res and 6% +F/C res versus a steady stream of absorb procs - often every 10 seconds (and saving 1-3 extra slots). For your answers, please keep these assumptions in mind: - Assume I can benefit from the resistance bonuses. - Assume the other power with Superior Gauntleted Fist is a mule or low tier power, so I am unlikely to get the absorb much at all with slotting #1. With all that in mind, which do you choose? Discuss. Thanks 🙂
  13. I don't really understand how there could be so many people running around unable to double stack Rage unless we're talking about a "purely for sub-50's" argument. It takes almost nothing to get there unless you're both skipping Hasten and refusing to slot Rage.

  16. All I know for sure is Tanker and Sentinel SR. Both of which I would say are firmly in “nope, too good already to buff” territory. You’d have to ask others if there are specific buffs that Brutes/Scrappers/Stalkers need exclusively, but I doubt it. OP’s specific suggestions sound kind of ridiculous. He’s literally isolated the few tiny holes SR has (news flash: every set has a few tiny holes) and asked for all of them to be plugged so much so that no SR in the game could ever really die again. I already log on to my SR tank if I need to be sure of not dying. Its nigh immortality doesn’t need to be literal immortality…
  17. I don’t think potentially having to leave a zone on rare occasion for 15 minutes would be a significant strain on me. The much more difficult question is whether or not this whole thread was completely or only partially for the lulz. As a side note, the spontaneous nature of the suggestion might mitigate the hardcore community’s ability to organize on Discord, and that’s always a plus considering one of this game’s biggest PvP problems is its insular community’s absolute refusal to let certain formats be played casually away from a central voice chat server. Basically rendering team Arena a no-go zone, so it needs more of everything else.

  19. I’ve told you over and over I run my blasters at 20-25% defense 🙂 doesn’t mean they should be dying.
  20. I mean, yeah, sticking with the tank only works if the non-tanks in question have a basic understanding of how to survive a smidge of aggro in this game.
  21. Last time I was actually on discord and not keeping up with my end on a non-tank, I was simply told “put the god damn bowl down and pop a green” 😭
  22. If you just follow the tank/brute this is a non-issue. Once they’re over the aggro cap more will still herd to them because their teammates are with them and can pull some strays themselves. If you’re still standing still attacking things at their original spawn point after your tank has tried to pull to a herd point, you’re the one causing the chaos. My gang does KM +4 ITF’s reliably in 25-30 minutes or sometimes less, and following the tank is like the most fundamental part of that. So this isn’t a playstyle problem because the tank/brute’s playstyle absolutely works if the team is just paying attention. It sounds like a team communication / PUG problem. I think, perhaps, having serious expectations from either side for how others should play is probably best reserved for non-PUG life.
