The Clockwork are powered by the Clockwork King's Psionics, which is why psi does extra damage to them, it's the entire point of an arc. He was a mutant first and it's his mutant power that powers all his constructs. Dr. Vahzilok is science because he's a Frankenstein pastiche. Yes, the Vahzilok Plague is given my mutant contacts, but that doesn't mean he's a mutant. Vahzilok drop Science Enhancements. He is a science based enemy. I'm sure I don't even need to justify Circle of Thorns being technology.
-
Positron 1 & Positron 2 are about two attempts to blow up the dam and one to poison all the water. The Clockwork are mutant origin, the Vahzilok are Science Origin, and the Circle of Thorns, of course, are Technology.
-
Ah. That's a much better origin than "Bris gone wrong"
-
Last time I was running in that range, I got the different arcs for the contacts, but one thing I did notice in the 25-29 range is that, outside of the arc mission, I was getting repeats. I'm sure I did "take frankie frost into protective custody" at least twice.

Only if the pool also includes Mastermind: Traps: Detonator

He is Eros. I suppose bows would make sense for him too.

Yeah, but the midnighters are represented Blue, Red, and Gold side, so they seemed like a good neutral organization. The bartenders work at Pocket D, and DJ Zero owns Pocket D. Maybe it'd make more sense to treat DJ Zero like Recluse and pick sub-factions within Pocket D. (Bartending Pool, Bussing Pool, Kitchen Pool, and AE Pool?). Meanwhile, choosing someone who is at Pocket D, but does not work for Pocket D would be the Patron Patron Pool.
-
Forget Hero patron pools. I want patron pools you can earn as long as you can access Pocket D. Four Patron Groups: Midnighters, Father Time, DJ Zero, and Null the Gull. Midnighters get summons, a midnighter of some sort, be it armour, spells, weapons, or an archivist. You also get a selection of spells and artifacts to use based on your archetype. Father Time gets you some time mastery abilities. If there's a pet, it would probably have to be a time displaced version of you that's kind of weaker. But I'm disinclined to have this set get a pet. DJ Zero could pull powers from Symphonic Control and the Sonic Power sets. Definitely no pets, but maybe a confuse to make people fall in love with you and fight for you. Null the Gull gives you one power. You know what it is, you know what it does.

Okay, so when Tanker melee and Scrapper Melee were distinct and not-overlapping, Tanks had secondaries that were more focused on control and scrappers had primaries more focused on debuffs. This wasn't a hard and fast rule, Martial Arts and Dark Melee have more control than most scrapper sets, but it seems to have been a design decision at the beginning. That was kind of scrapped as they added new sets and it was just easier to give nearly identical versions of the sets to both archetypes. But it could be revived. Give brutes more control, make them melee range controllers with damage. Maybe take the Stalker sets, turn the Placate back to taunt, and turn the assassin's strike into single target hold with some AoE knock-down? Give Brute build-up a power boost effect?

Solid life advice.

The only remaining AE is now in the Easter Egg room of Faultline and it's all Luminara's fault.
-
They did tell us these things. It's not the developer's fault if you don't read the patch notes.

Other options: Accept presponsiblity: One should proc nerfs. We should proc nerfs. I should proc nerfs. Shirk responsibility: Luminara should proc nerfs. That guy there should proc nerfs. Everyone else should proc nerfs. Confuse people: Activision Blizzard should proc nerfs in Everquest. Almighty Tina the Time Salamander should grant us all the blessings of procing nerfs.

As I recall, there was something about Tarantula Queens and Lieutenents and Toxic Tarantulas, but I might be misremembering.
-
I think the proper phrasing is "Nerfs should be procced" I recommend proccing nerfs for control, because proccing nerfs for damage seems counter to the spirit of nerf.
-
I remember Arachnos being particularly hard for Super Reflexes, but I actually think they might have added positional tags to a number of psionic and toxic attacks in page four.

Chernobog and Veles both spawn as arch-villains if you have arch-villains while solo activated. Chernobog gets a fear effect that he doesn't have as an elite boss.

Invulnerable: Debuff Defense resistance
Major_Decoy replied to Paragon Vanguard's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Back before Issue Four, there was a sizable contingent that used to ask to get rid of all defensive powers in Invulnerability, they wanted it to be a pure resistance set. And one of the test builds that made Unyielding Stance Unyielding had something like -50% defense instead of the intended -5%. And I don't recall anyone asking for Invulnerability to be a pure resistance set after that. -

Entirely untintable, or can you change the interior colour by selecting "match colours" and using that to colour the jackets?
