Other than 2 characters, this is exactly how all my girls are outfitted, common IOs and a few procs. When compared to SOs it is cheaper in the long run. I play old school, sometimes on purpose and sometimes accidentally. I often forget you can pick up travel at 4 and just get it at 14 (or maybe 10 or 12 if I remember) from habit. I like to run arcs, hollows, Laura Lockhart, Graham Easton, Keith Nance, Jenni Adair, Roy Cooling, sometimes Faultline but it makes me dizzy lol. I sometimes jump in a farm with a friend to skip a few levels that have content I dont care for. I usually save the icon missions for level 50 but will run them lower if I just need a smidge to the next level. Hell, I have a couple toons that leveled 90% street sweeping lol! Lately I have been doing a lot of baby heroes, DFB a few times then jump on the TF train. I have enough toons of every level range that now if I see something advertised I can switch toons and join in the fun. I know how to pick up the costume slot missions from the Icon tailors, but I have forgotten where to get cape and aura missions....any tips?

RE: AFK farming I made my farmer a tanker so that if I had to go switch the laundry around or something quick (5-10 min tops) she would be durable enough to survive. I dont understand people who set up an afk farmer and tab out to do something else entirely. But whatever floats their boat! If the HC devs decide to close that loophole, that works for me as well. I personally prefer playing the game. Actively pushing buttons and running and jumping, flying and arresting baddies. Today was kinda slow. I was on a level 9 brute looking for work (not the PI offer because I would die lol) but it took about 30 to 45 minutes to actually find a team. I found myself following civilian NPCs and even joining the Longbow conga line around AP. Not terribly fun. Whatever you have in your head as your idea of fun, presupposing its not restricted by game mechanics or TOS, I think hey, carry on! Dont judge me for conga line-ing around atlas and I wont judge you for afk farming 😁

Lately I have been running several baby toons through to maybe 25 or 30ish without passing them cash. Every single one of them, using 2xp so no inf just drop sales, has been able to afford their own Reveal (must have!!) by about lvl 3 and the standard health and stamina procs along with 25 common IOs by 22. Granted, I don't do a lot of high end build stuff, most of my 50s are slotted with common IOs and a few procs. If I didn't sell all my crap on AH at 100 I could certainly increase my profits and afford those shiney fancy sets (if I understood bonus'). Some people hate farming. Some people hate marketing. Some people hate (certain) story arcs. That's fine! But don't choose to hate farmers or marketeers or story runners. Everyone has the ability to play whichever way they enjoy. Lashing out at each other just serves to divide a small community. The changes to inf earning while exemped are miniscule, anyone saying otherwise clearly hasn't kept very good track. I havent even tried using reward merits to make inf and my baby heroes still have more than they need. Anyway, I just hate seeing people blow something so trivial all out of proportion and then turn the blame and hate on others. Be responsible for your own actions and reactions and try to stay civil. It is a GAME. It will be alright.

I think instead of damage/support/mitigation you should use fun/entertaining/frustrating because the results will mean just as much. Which is to say, it all depends on playstyle, character concept and player (the person behind the curtain). Very subjective, especially when you bring slotting into it. But I dig your colors! 😀

I post everything for 100....and on purples (recipes) I usually get 12m to 17m each....on ATOs (from packs) I get around 5m each. I know I am doing it wrong but I dont care lol 😝

I havent had to ignore anyone for it yet, but I think there is a fine line between giving advice and berating someone for 'playing wrong'. In my eyes, I am playing wrong if I die more than twice in the span of a minute. Otherwise, if the bad guy goes down, all is well. Regarding KB, I have not slotted any special IOs to fix it, I just roll with it and push them into good positions. I mained a storm/energy defender on live for several years, I know how to work KB. If someone wants to mention that there are IOs to change it, fine. But expecting me to rush right out and get them or accusing me of being horrible is another matter altogether. Nobody has yet said anything to me about my KB so I guess I am not playing wrong yet lol. Any of you KB artists out there, feel free to team with me anytime, even if I am on a melee toon! I have follow bound to v which is where my thumb kinda hangs out so tab then v and I dont care where you knock them I will punch them 😁

I am simply agreeing with you that the % slider seems wonky and throwing in a sidebar regarding the map window that I wish abided by the aforementioned wonky slider.

Because you are playing in someone else's sandbox. Do you really not understand that the people running the server have final say over how things are done? Usually, they ask for feedback. This time they didn't. If you come into my house and light up a smoke, I will tell you we don't smoke in the house. You are then free to abide by my rules or leave. You are not free to demand I allow you to smoke in my house because you enjoy it or whatever reason you may manage to invent. I totally understand that doom is now upon us. Some players are feeling the crunch of only making 20m an hour and that is cramping their bling bling. Maybe a more mature approach, like rational reasons, might sway people to your point of view. I am certain tantrums will not.

I have noticed the difference between 87% (where I like it) and 86% is like night and day. 87% perfect...86% can't see them hardly at all. And map is always opaque 😞

On my MMs I usually take all my primary attacks. Ok back up a minute, on all my ATs I usually take all my primary AND secondary powers unless its a sleep power or a decieve power as I find those useless to the way I play (I am not big on pool powers). Yes, MM end usage is high. I prefer to use my primary attack powers as debuffers, like the hawk from beast. I will slot for end red and then the specialty of whatever it does. I spend a lot of my MM time using secondary powers and have even dipped into a couple pools for some basic attacks to help my guys out. There is definitely a few strategies for dealing with the end cost of MMs and I do agree its a higher cost. I think because you aren't expending end with every attack your pet does and yet most of your damage comes from said pets, well I think that was the original rationalization of the higher end costs. I think that if they decide to look into fixing it they should definitely take that into account, perhaps keeping high cost or raising it for pet summons and buffing but lowering it on the common attacks. Anyway, I dont really have a dog in the fight (I taught my puppies better than that!) as I am not a major MM player, but thought I would chime in with my take on it, thats what forums are for, yes? I love sentinels. I currently have um...22 of them. I am working through every primary with every secondary but I may not do all cuz I just dont like weapons in general. Yesterday I was on a Posi 1 that had two tanks, a blaster, two trollers and three sentinels. When we got to the ambushes at the door, both tanks, the blaster and one troller went down. A troller and all three sents were left standing, fighting the good fight. Sents may not put out as much damage as a blaster but they can certainly hold their own. One of my favorite solo toons was my fire/ice sentinel. I mostly ignore the inherent, but that's how I play, I mostly ignore the inherents on other ATs as well. Some people like them, some people hate them, you won't ever please all the people all the time. As an avid sentinel player I feel they are fine but that the inherent could use help for those players who like that sort of thing. Just wanted to chime in, happy hunting to all of y'all!

I changed the music in my SG base. All I had to do to make it loop was add loop into the name. So instead of spirit.ogg it got renamed spiritloop.ogg. Maybe that will work for you?
