It seems a reaction to the panic of people buying out the stores (and trying to put a stop to that) almost more than worry about the sickness or deaths. Nobody cared this much about the flu or car wrecks or various other things that are just as deadly and often just as epidemic.

For me, its little things like calling enhancements enchantments. No. It implies not just a newness to the game, which is good, but also a complete lack of interest in actually paying attention to anything in the game. Like the level 35 character I saw the other day who had no clue how to 'enchant damage buff'. Luckily, we have a fantastic community to help folks. Also, all the folks who announce that they saw a giant Kraken in Independence Port. Um...Kraken spawns in Perez Park, Lusca spawns in IP, I think they do it intentionally for the confusion that will inevitably ensue. Ditto for calling powers by the wrong names. Is it really that hard to read your target/power/vendor/whatever window? Ok, pet peeve time over, time to get back to helping folks NOT do any of the above. 😁

You may already know this, but to acquire tip missions (and alignment I think but not sure) you can use a mission computer in supergroup base and buy them with reward merits. That way you dont have to depend on RNG to drop the one you need.

I read somewhere you can use threads to buy insp then sell the insp on AH or use them....was I dreaming or is that a thing? If its a thing it totally solves the OPs problem. Edit: found it...my search fu is strong today!

I agree that build up/aim (insert other non-attack powers here) animations rooting you and playing their odd animation in the middle of combat is ridiculous. I wish there were some combat check like there is for snipe to shortcut the 'pinata effect'. As for actual attack powers rooting you, much of that is baked into the DPS and DPA of a set, like shadow maul has you whiffing away even if it misses. I believe that without the rooting effect, much of the strategy of the game would be lost. For instance, I have 4 HP left, do I want to use flurry and risk this guy killing me or do I want to run away and recover? Without rooting it becomes use flurry AND run away (presuming melee range for the initiation of the power only and continued melee range not being required) which greatly reduces the risk. It would also make every power joust-able and possibly lead to less diverse playstyle and, again, strategies In other cases it could greatly increase the DPS which may cause some sets to become unbalanced (even more than some are now). I totally hate being rooted in place for certain powers, but I still think that its a mechanic that leads to more interesting gameplay.

The same happens with any female toon holding any weapon, even blackwand. Bugs me so ESC is my 'put the weapon away and run like a girl' button.

Null the gull has an option for removing the one from sorcery but isnt yet coded for force of will. You can make sure you have sorcery in a second build and have null remove the tray then it will also be gone for force of will. Kheldians are also offered options for this at null the gull.

The alpha is the initial strike where you get a group of baddies attacking all at once. Since its usually synchronized, the damage really adds up and requires a toon with either higher HP, higher def, higher res or quick regeneration to 'soak' it, to take the fast incoming damage without dying. This is, in lower levels, most traditionally a tank, as they have a giant bag of HP and lots of def and res. With higher levels or creative slotting, this can be performed by almost any AT.

Why not throw a curve ball at incarnate players and give minions a special something. If you run at x8 there are tons of those suckers and if, say, every third minion had something that cut you like a knife it might require a little thought. And make them a surprise maybe, like you cant tell which ones it will be so you end up mobbed and struggling before you realize it. I mainly solo, so I haven't experienced roflstomp teams as much as most of y'all (except beta stress testing) so my opinion is far from *in practice*. Also, as much as I love my priority target binds, I think that just adds to the steamroll effect if you can pick out the big bad, especially if there is only one big bad, and eliminate him before he threatens the team. For solo play like I do, I like the idea of an EB to challenge me one on one, just not sure it would even slow down a team.

I remember way back on live if I spent too long editing the base it got me out of sync or had a memory leak or whatever we all decide to call it lol. I am confident its not a new problem with what HC has done for bases, but I am also confident its a rare occurance. We all need egg timers to exit the base editor and walk around the living room every hour or two 😝

And you'll never have all 'completed' contacts because Jenni Adair was never finished so she stops about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way up the bar. Drives me nuts its not a whole 'completed' bar. Anyway, good luck to OP in filling your goal as much as is possible.

You have to pick the power then choose next....if you pick another power from primary or secondary it will cancel the pool choice so make sure its highlighted and hit next.

Are you using your game account to log in? If you use your forum account it will tell you it is wrong so make sure to use the game account.

With the new PA pet options, I rolled an ill/sonic troller and ran her through goldside. She is now 22 or 24 or some such and boring as hell. I am going to have to reroll her but not sure what to.....staying with troller and powersets I haven't already got (have grav/nat and mind/pain). Any suggestions for my third troller, Saga of Souls?

I forget...do sents get ninjitsu? Its kinda dancy in the build up poses...I agree DP is probably best for non melee although if melee were an option MA or staff would work well.

Emmy would hopefully be played/voiced by Laura San Giacomo. I wish I were 'cute as a button' like she is and she does an absolutely ludicrous Texan accent in Quigley Down Under that I just can't get over. I havent thought of any other forumites in terms of actors/voices but I will think on that and maybe let ya know 😝

People are always popping in and out of them, especially on more populated servers, which adds to the resources used by drawing and redrawing the elements. Honestly I am not sure how much they 'exist' if nobody is in them.

As an add on to bases: bases already suck the life out of the servers, especially the ones capping out item limit. Now you wanna make it bigger (zone/world) which would require even more items which would suck more resources from the servers. As an add on to AE: quite possibly already doable in a limited fashion and without the weather type changes. Unrealistic: dev time is volunteer, and limited to what they each know. Like, if there isnt someone familiar with how the base editor and items interact and are coded, that wont be something ever worked on. Also they have spent a lot of time on the back end of things and it really seems that the front end stuff they are doing is to do stuff for things that are widely used and experienced rather than a niche concept like youve come up with. I am not saying its a bad idea or wont ever happen, just trying to explain some of the push back youve received.

Give BaB the Atlas stand and let those missions lead you to Ms Liberty in Fort Trident. Nobody goes there anyway so they could give it purpose.
