Dont confuse me with facts!

If you have knowledge of real world trading happening...let the devs know they will quash it. In order for the exploiters to be selling inf, someone has to be buying it. You not only lost everyone here with your logic, I think you lost yourself.

I ignore if people go way over the top, usually I chalk it up to a bad day and just don't pay attention to them. If I do ignore, I usually clear it in a day or week, to see if maybe they have straightened up or maybe got banned lol. I dont write notes because it confuses me. Currently my ignore list is empty. People just generally dont meet my threshold of stupid.

Nerf 'everybody always takes hasten' threads. Guess I am nobody cuz I dun always take it. I think I have it on 2 out of 57 toons.

I have just realized that EmmySky on Everlasting is an exact copy of Joule Watt on Indom regarding powersets and AT. I must now go reroll her witha different primary. Le sigh.

I have 53 characters on Indom, each with their own backstory and head cannon. I don't reuse powerset from the same AT but martial arts in scrapper is different than martial arts in tanker! Also on that server I have 13 sents, one for each primary and using every secondary once (except regen because there are only 12 sent secondaries.) This week I made 4 new toons, one on each of the other shards. They are all EmmySky and they are all regent sents but have different primaries. They all look the same except boot and glove colors. I try to make costumes specific to each character and their back story, but I find myself really reusing certain looks or costume pieces over and over again. Plus, all my girls have a SG costume which is exactly the same except for signature color.

So many right answers to this question. I do love the play. Character customization, so many different paths you can take your toon, team or solo, story content or farm, OPTIONS! By a large margin, I think its the people and their acceptance of my smart-ass-ery. Its like having friends but nobody invades my personal space or private home, no impenging on my anti-socialness. And soooo many folks with the same demented humor as me. Definitely the people. Definitely.

Because people will argue with a brick wall if given half a chance, and some people want to stomp their feet and 'woe is me' where everybody can hear/see them. 😝 Alas...I forgot one of the most important ways I burn through influence. COSTUMES! Mama needs a new pair of shoes, and pants, no make that a skirt, with a lightning aura, no a smokey aura, and a jacket, ooooo hats!

I have 2 full t4 full set and purple and bonuses and everything toons. One of them cost about 500m. The other, after all the respecs to fix her, cost at least 1 b. I have 27 toons at 50+1 that have a few procs but mostly 50 common IOs, each cost between 25m and 50m. I have 12 toons at 45 and 1 at 42 and 9 at 40. Again with the assorted procs and level appropriate common IOs. I have 7 new baby toons levels 15-32 that I havent even bothered really concentrating on yet. And I don't even have a lot if you look at many other folks. I think you can see how one player can actually use a giant vat of inf, especially if they are focused on tricking them out instead of just using common IOs like I tend to do.

You can still do a lot of that stuff through Ouroborus but it will exemp you so you lose powers which your twin may not like. Still fun arcs...the keith nance then Jenni Adair arc has you chasing your evil doppelganger! For 50s, join hami raids or mothership raids or the incarnate trials. Run the incarnate arc heather townshend in DA. Good luck!

My son and I often just street sweep for low lvls they are so fast. Personally I really like the hollows arcs (wincott flux julius talshak). At about 15 I use the find contact button and go do Montague castenella and laura Lockhart and graham Easton all from steel canyon. At 20 I like to do keith nance in talos then Jenni Adair then when i finish that arc I pick up Roy cooling. This usually gets me to 23 -25 and then I will solo Posi 1 then find other TFs to join. Lots of things to do so try a lol bit of everything! Good luck to you both!

Here in my area, you can be ticketed/fined for 'loitering'. This is a gathering of 3 or more people without purpose (usually restricted to late night/early morning hours in 'bad' neighborhoods used to curb villainous activity like drug deals and prostitution). Would never be used in CoV because there simply arent enough people to clump up or form a hub on redside. 😝 *runs out of thread fastly* 😝

Funny you bring this up. I decided to have my global name on every shard so nobody can impersonate me and so I can check out other people and play-groups. There is now an EmmySky sentinel on every shard! Of course, my original on Indom is 50+1, but the babies are all 12 on the other shards except Reunion because its 4 hours past my bedtime and there was no blue DFB lol. If you see Emmy running around somewhere, drop a howdy at me!

To all the foot stomping tantrums: TankYou needs a new judgement (I am tired of the old one) so I popped into Cults dreck map farm (17656....this is not an exemp farm so running at 50+1 and +4×8). I had a windfall in email so I used it, it adds 25% inf gain. In the one hour of the windfall, I quit when it was done, I earned 25 million inf. My math skills suck but that seems about 20 million an hour, without windfall. Anyone who can't stand to make a measly 20 million an hour, well, can I have your stuff? On a side note...I used the windfall because thread and shard drops increase 50% with it. In a hour I got 27 threads and 15 shards. That seems a lil low...I wish I could buy threads with my 25m. 😝

Check your anti-virus and make sure the folder with CoH is whitelisted. Check your installation path and make sure its correct according to the install instructions (for win10 they recommend C:\games\coh or similar...where it isn't in a folder windows messes with and is 2 deep). Also try reverifying your files through your launcher (tequila is windows launcher). If you are using a mac instead of windows maybe someone else can chime in with suggestions and options. Regarding the invasions: I dont like the idea of the SF team picking the zone, I can see that may be used for griefing (teams running concurrent or back to back all picking same zone). Have the SF level locked for each level bracket (1-10, 11-20 etc) and have that correspond to a given zone that will be invaded if you succeed (KR, Steel etc). As for the enemies in the invasion, whichever faction is predominant in the zone, have them take over for a bit. Oh noes, suddenly there are 200 Carnies swarming PI! Or for zones with multiple dominant factions, rotate it. Oh noes, suddenly there are 200 Malta swarming PI! Or they can co-op the invasion. Oh noes, suddenly there are 200 Malta AND Carnies swarming PI! This could also benefit heroes looking for those elusive 'defeat 5 billion sappers' type badges so the heroes depend on the villains to more quickly earn those things. I am a true blue player, but I would probably switch long enough to have some agency and actually see my actions effect the game. Buffs and merits I dont care about, I wouldnt stay for that. As a hero, I would love to fight invasions caused by my villainous brethren.

A lot of people commenting here are focusing on late game. To be honest, I don't spend much time on late game because I really enjoy baby heroes, fast levels, increasing my power, fun times. The other day, I made two new baby blasters. First one, DFB a few times, I think I joined three seperate teams and did 2 to 3 runs with each team. All went smoothly and happily. Second one, ran through Matthew to Tierny before joining a DFB. Did one run. It was horrid. After recruiting, the team leader entered the sewer network. *blink blink* They came back out to atlas and queued the trial. It was clear these were new-ish players. They just didn't understand basic game mechanics. I bailed on that after one run and joined a posi 1. Equally bad. People running all over the place. You know the final mish in posi 1 you just can't wander off. We had so many deaths/team wipes before we even got to that mish I was close to quitting TF. Overall it was a slog! Anyway, my point is that, early game or end game, oftentimes the perceived difficulty level is very dependent on the teammates you run with. New players will slow ya down. Bad players will get ya killed. Good players will have a smooth ride. I think added difficulty options would be an excellent idea, going both ways (easier and harder) as long as they remain options. I think the game, as it stands, offers plenty of challenge depending on how you build your character and who you team up with, but options are always nice.

I have never seen anyone reprimanded by an actual GM/dev (actual authority here on these forums) for holding an opinion. I have seen people reprimanded for the way in which they preach their opinion and in doing so manage to treat other people badly. I doubt very much you were warned about the actual opinion. It was most likely, as @ArchVileTerror says, the way in which you said it. The world is full of people who disagree with me but I usually just ignore them and go about my day. Best of luck to ya!
