  1. I would pay money for a red outline to show up around my screen every time that sound file gets played.
  2. Reduce the purple patch effects on, mezz and debuffs... in particular +5s need to be within the range of "I am able to contribute to the fight." If you sidekick up to a +4 team you'll fight +5s, and that happens too often to make that a "I'm not doing anything" scenario. I think Tohit and Damage calculations can remain the as is since those are countered by self and team buffs.
  3. Go through map objects and remove the physics on things that are just annoying so to they don't block movement. (CoT torches, etc)
  4. I agree with this statement. However, I do have to admit, that 95% of the changes the homecoming team has done, I've been pretty pleased with. I think they put a great deal of careful consideration in what they're doing. I really hope that continues.
  5. No. Not live. Not yet.
  6. I do the same, with one exception: Hasten. If I am trying to get to perma-hasten I will sometimes slot a 3rd or even 4th +5 recharge IOs. The % improvement is very small, but it may shave 8-10 seconds of the cooldown of hasten.
  7. I did them all on my Beam/devices blaster. I didn't bother with temp powers as I had enough DPS to handle it without. Also hovering out of melee pretty much handles any concern about survival. None of final bosses have strong ranged damage and none fly. If you don't have soft-capped defense yet at the levels you run the TFs, just load up on purple inspirations.
  8. Haven't done this myself to confirm, but don't team inspirations affect pets? (available from Luna in Ouroboros and on AH) I know if you pop an Ultimate inspiration, which gives you a temporary level-up, before you summon your pets, they'll be leveled up, too.
  9. I agree the current SG system as implemented is lacking. But I also think global channels and friends lists basically cover the gap. The problem would be if one of the SGs you are tied to doesn't use a global channel and only speaks in SG channel.
  10. Quick note.. unless you're level 50 you can't get the final paragrine island mission. You can unlock Lord Schweinzer earlier, but unless there's a trick I don't know, you have to be level 50 to get the invader badge without help.
  11. I agree eviscerate should be a cone. Claws needs something to make for the fact that it's quick animations are a detriment to building up auto-crit on assassins' strike. As it stands, I feel claws is far better on a scrapper then a stalker. Other sets are a more balanced trade-off but claws doesn't get enough payback for losing 2 multi-target attacks. I don't agree that shockwave is useless.
  12. I go after atlas medallion as soon as I hit level 22 (after I do my usual level 22 respec). I go to Striga Isle and start working on the defeat badges. I usually gain a level or 2 while hunting, so I'm around 24 when I actually get the badge. I like to do the TF commander task forces as I leveled up starting with Posi 1 as soon as I finish off my DFB runs around level 14. You have to be 35 to do the last one, so I get the accolade between 35 and 40. Usually Numina I have to start on my own, but the others are pretty common and you can just join up when you see them. Freedom Phalanx I grab at level 40... Again, I usually gain at least 1 level if not 2 doing the fake nemesis hunts, so I'm usually level 43 when I get the badge. Then I immediately do the anti-matter arc needed for portal jockey before I out-level it. At level 45 I get the Maria Jenkins as a contact and finish off the Portal Jockey defeat requirements.
  13. If you keep it all in the primary and don't add epic powers I like this one: Storm Kick > Eagles Claw > Storm Kick > Crippling Axe Kick > Crane Kick And then I also take dragon's tail and swap it in place of one of the storm kicks when I'm surrounded. This also happens to be 100% kicks, so it has that visual synergy I was looking for in my build as well. You could replace crane kick with cobra strike which would give you a stun instead of a knockback which is probably more powerful due to a stun being better then a knockback, but the DPS is identical. The real payoff comes from slotting procs. In my tank build, I managed to 3 slot procs in each attack with 0 recharge so I could benefit from the maximum proc chance of each attack.
  14. Should have called it, "Save Yo' Momma!" Missed opportunities *sigh*
  15. I like tip missions. They're slightly more difficult and involved then regular missions. They have more difficult enemies. As implemented, they actually alter your personal story (changing alignment). Some of them are actually well written (I still remember the first time I killed that CoT demon and it looked at me knowing that with it's defeat, I was being turned me toward evil... which in game terms was actually true! *goosebumps*) I also like the iTrials just because they use more interesting mechanics and have more difficult battles, but would prefer to see content like that put into an 8 man mission format. And with 1 maybe 2 exceptions, they're not so long that I have to think about whether I really have time to finish. DA and Rikti Warzone both are good examples of single zone content. Completing a contact unlocks another to provide a complete story line within the setting of the zone that slowly escalates as you progress. They provide an elevated level of challenge by using more difficult opponents and AVs. They're broken into 3-4 mission long segments which feels about right. I often see people asking for hazard zones to get a revamp to make them more meaningful. If they use these 2 zones as models, that'd be fantastic.
  16. When I am working on blaster builds, The choice of yes or no for melee attacks is literally the first thing I decide. Of course it's possible to change my mind and go a different way later, but for me, it's two distinct play styles.
  17. I've been back since August 2019.... and I'm still not 100% sure this is really happening.
  18. My #1 piece of advice for online gaming: Try to make at least 1 snarky comment per mission. And if you don't feel comfortable/capable with snark, then by the one who types "LoL" when someone else makes a snarky comment. Seriously, imagine an ITF with 32 snarky comments. Would that not be the best ITF run ever?
  19. Maybe you should just skip the Twinshot arc. Not because of your power choices, but because IT"S A TERRIBLE ARC THAT MAKES ME SCREAM AND PULL MY HAIR OUT!!! Granted a Sonic/Force corruptor doesn't sound "amazing" to me. But I do think it's too early to judge.
  20. Yeah... i've probably done 50 respecs in my base in the last 2-3 months. I have never had a fail. I didn't even know failing respecs was a thing. My base is very small, if that matters. The untrained levels thing catches my attention. I know I always train before respec'ing because if I don't, I may not be able to put the slots in the place I want. For example, if I'm going to 6-slot the power I just took. I wonder if there's something goofy about trying to respec before/after leveling without zoning first (because you know how zoning fixes stuff).
  21. IIRC the rikti group size scales with team size. This might be an ironically bizarre case where +4x8 actually helps more than +4x1. Great work. Very impressive!
  22. Claws doesn't have 2 cones. I apologize if someone already said this, but I didn't see it in my brief scan of the responses. They made eviscerate into a ST attack on stalkers. Apparently taking away spin wasn't enough neutering. Claws is also unfriendly for generating a guaranteed AS crit since it has low recharge values. Thus, IMHO, claws is a powerset that is MUCH better on a scrapper than a stalker. Many other sets have more a stalker-friendly powers lineups. It's unfortunate, because I like the concept of a claws stalker. It was my first 50 on homecoming. And it was my first retired toon on homecoming after I learned a bunch of what I just wrote.
  23. Don't worry... with an attitude like that, they've long since quit the game because it's too hard for them, and you're still here.
