  1. For an actual suggestion - it could be made a toggle with a long (but shorter than now) recharge that applies after it is toggled off. So you can keep triage beacon going as long as you want in place, but then have a 60 second recharge after you turn it off.
  2. I'm not saying that the Avengers episode was unbelievable. I just want to see superheroes fight supervillains. We finally have superheroes with powers and costumes but they still hate to include supervillains in the movies. Spidermans 1-3 and Iron Man 2 remain my favorite superhero movies because they are superheroes facing supervillains, which is shockingly rare in the superhero movies.
  3. My thoughts. In general it is very uneven. This seems like the scrap heap of ideas, most of these feel more like an episode of HISHE on youtube than a marvel production. By episode
  4. I have a separate tab for NPC chat. When soloing missions I have that tab on so I just see the mission stuff and not other chat.
  5. Triage beacon is not useful on steamroller teams. But about 75% of powers are not useful on steamroller teams.
  6. I failed mission 1. I'm playing a lvl 34 tanker elec/elct. I have it set to team size 2. When they get 2 bosses with singularities I get knocked around and can barely fight. In one room there were 3 of them. MARK got taken out while I was bounced around. I like the villains. Great variety of powers and they fit the robot designations. Much more interesting than just robots that shoot beams. in the end text for failing mission 1 was a small typo "she,uh actually functions" needs a space before uh. I like the contact text. Full paragraphs and kind of long but very clear. They speak like a briefing. It doesn't feel wordy, it feels normal. --- Mission 2. I like the empty building start. Adds variety. Again the mission briefing was clear and I knew what to do. Had trouble finding the 3rd explosive because the glowie sound is so quiet these days, but got it. Nice to fight a different set of villains than the last mission. And I just ran past the paragon protector ambush, but it added a nice bit to the story of the mission. A little detail I liked was the paragon protector giving an identity (logan-7 or something). Added a bit of flavor and realism. I checked clues at the end of mission 2. They told about mission 1 and 2 fairly well, but an initial clue explaining the start would be nice for helping tell the story. --- Mission 3. I like night ward enemies. Great enemies and adds variety. The clue from the taskmaster is hard to read with the dark purple text. I like the series of tasks. It feels like a story instead of just doing random things on a map. And the glowies were all in the final room so it was easy to do. I like how the plot gets more involved slowly. It started out simple and becomes more complicated but slowly enough that it makes sense. --- I will have to finish the arc later. It is a very fun arc so far.
  7. The final guy is the big bad for the next series of MCU movies. Basically the new Thanos.
  8. It knew exactly what it promised and it delivered. They took the complaints about the first movie and fixed them. Replacing 30 minutes introducing the characters before action started by starting with action and spending 1 minute naming names. I enjoyed it throughout. It did not add up to anything, it was just wall to wall action and fun. My daughter like Harley but did not think the movie was funny. She wanted more jokes and less over the top violence. Aquaman is the only DC movie I have liked better (not too hard, since that and Green Lantern are the only DC movies I have enjoyed).
  9. thanks for the feedback. I fixed the typo. The contact was first written using a lot of business jargon but I found it too annoying, so I cut that down and made her more business like. The End at the Beginning refers to that is where Arachnos got the initial eggs and started the whole project. I'll see if I can explain that in the mission text. I don't know why you are immune to the mind control. I could have an explanation but I worried it would not fit all of the characters. I could just say your will is so strong.
  10. I like the idea of putting in a mind controlled description, but I cannot figure how to set descriptions for the ally group with a boss. I set the missions to levels 1-9 for all 5 missions. Added a clue when you rescue Mongoose. I fixed the typo. It just had a bunch of %'s for some reason. The scattered collectibles are just dungeon dressing. 2 are supposed to trigger when the boss is defeated and the rest after that collection is done. Thanks for the review and the feedback.
  11. ice/time controller You turn on Arctic Air from ice and Time Juncture from time. You can also drop ice slick from ice and distortion field from time. The enemies can barely move or act and spend their time just slipping and falling. But you have no END to use for anything else and just slowly plink away at them. It is a no fun build
  12. I assume the portal tentacle monster ending was a salute to the Hellboy movie. I thought the animation was okay but my daughter loved it. She had to tell us that several times while watching it. So there is an audience for it. What is "Marvel One Shot: Agent Carter" - something besides the tv show?
  13. There are some great stories. Unfortunately they are mostly for villains. But the AE actually has even better stories and arcs than most in the regular game. Search for SFMA (story focused mission arcs) and you can find great stories.
  14. If you want to farm spines and fire on a brute seems to be the thing. But tankers got a boost and their aoes are bigger than brutes and scrappers, so you might like that. For normal play bio is a new defense set and is generally seen as the best by far.
  15. On seeing the title I thought you meant Hannah John-Kamen. Never mind.
  16. It has happened to me a few times, but not often enough to be reliable.
  17. I don't play above level 34 and rarely play above the 20's. I only play in the 30's for Croatoa. It is much harder to find lower level groups than level 50+4 groups, but they do exist. And if you create one in the evenings you can usually fill it.
  18. It's funny how fantasy dominates rpgs and MMOs, but for tv and movies sci-fi does far better than fantasy.
  19. Mandarin isn't Asian in it at all. I assume that was the intent. But the villains are all just sort of there wanting to be evil.
  20. looks like it is the one with Force Works, although they call them the Avengers in the show I am almost sure
  21. How did I miss this thread? I've been playing Champions since first edition in the 80's. I stopped updating at 5th edition. It is the best system for creating and playing superheroes if you want the detail - and I want the detail.
  22. EMH is by far the best Avengers animated show. I am now trying the Iron Man series, in which he has other avengers as well but they are just there to worship Iron Man. It's not terrible, but the 3rd episode was quite bad.
