  1. I ❤ savage melee. Half the recharge, 4 time the awesome without the flash.
  2. This solves 75% of your problems. 45% s/l avoids the majority of attacks, split damage as well since ice blast checks lethal damage def. You can get 75% average across the board resists, the defense io scale resist can help cap it when low health. You got enough regen to deal with any 25ish damage hits. Only weakness is -regen, even psi damage isn't a huge problem.
  3. Made a dominator, Dark/Ice. It's not a power house, decent single target range attacks but only 1 melee as its built around flight. Soft cap defense, perma hasten at 180%, perma domination with key bind to auto fire Domination or Hasten. Went Ice epic for theme, enough recharge that Hoarfrost near perma until Incarnate; autofires off right key. Hibernate to recover hitpoints and endurance when dominate hasn't triggered.Sleet, Ice Storm, Chilling Embrace, Fearsome stare; debuffs the shit out of stuff with slows, -tohit, and some -resist. About 400m for enhancements, another 80m for boosters, and 120m to attune for why the f@&* not. Already looking at another dominator pair build, with only 125% passive recharge to achieve perma domination.
  4. It would be changed. Look at Ice Armor at as the last pick.. for Tanks it's Hibernate. Sentinels get Icey Bastion, basically a T9 defense click that is what a tank should have
  5. Don't bother saving salvage other than orange-red. Salvage drops so fast, you should be checking recipes and making IOs as you get them. Save the useful ones like proc, LOTG, what ever and delete/sell the rest. When you got time, drop in a SG table. If you have 4 of 5 salvage for something, than buy just the 1 piece. But always stay on top of your recipe list, salvage storage, and enhancement tray. Its like filling your car with gas, oil change every so many months, and rotating the tires. Maintain the inventory, don't hold onto it "well I may need it...maybe...you know, off chance." People keep saying global storage is a great idea, you are creating a problem you can fix with 5 minutes work a day. It takes more effort now to check every table, the AH, drag and drop, click this or that trying to build 3 dozen IO when I can just drop off the Pancrease, Force Feedback, LOTG that I know what I have with maybe a couple of sets I decide to keep (Doctored Wound, Crushing Impact) and buy the resist. Than the only problem is influence, which is much easier to manage than 80 recipes, 1000 salvage, and my sanity.
  6. End content build : Expensive Incarnate build : Bad ass For every other hole in your build : And you won't get much mag protection in IO sets, only resistance off of the resist bonuses like 1.5% S/L which is 2.25% resistance. 2-3 break free, got you covered since they last 60 seconds each.
  7. AoE vs single target, AoE generally tend to be slower animating with more targets hit. If its fast cast time, its generally a more narrow cone.
  8. /ah right click enhancement -> Hit E Wentworth Click employee -> right click enhancement -> Hit E SG Click Enhancement storage table -> right click enhancement -> Hit M You mean like double click from enhancement table and drop to tray?
  9. *screams like a fan girl* Can I have your autograph!?!?!? I got one as well, Deadbloke on Excelsior. Saw another SM/Fire last week wend, was 400+ vet level.
  10. You don't know how many times I tell people this when they want global storage. Game shits out more than you will ever need, people are creating their problem by saving items to keep influence cost down. Influence is like sand in the Saraha desert. Recipes search for salvage, not salvage for recipes. Multiple recipes even share the exact same stuff. Your better offbuilding IO as you get them, buy the occasional salvage you need, than buy the IO or sets you need to fill out.
  11. It's like 10 minutes of work to pull out 20 enhancements with unslotters which is like 10 million or less. Maybe another 5 to drop in a table in SG. Or spend months testing a feture suggested by someone, with a small team of people. For the rare time for all of 10 minutes to save when someone respects since you are not going to be doing it every day.
  12. Does it matter? I am starting to see Darwin evolution in a lot of things in life, breeding out stupid by selective evolution. Doesn't hurt anyone but the person. On the other hand, take them as a sidekick and teach then the ropes of being a hero 👍
  13. Fire Farm Budget build of Omega Force , with only 1 winter and 1 purple set, plus 4 more winter in 2 sets for resist bonus, dropped Blazing Bolt and picked up Fire Breath. Dropped CJ for hover, might as well get the best of both worlds with flight+hover stacking for speed+def+controland staying out of melee range. +5 the defense IO sets in Maneuvers, Hover, Weave and you are over 45% soft cap with 75% resist. Bit more haste. Don't think its gonna run 4/8 very fast, its gonna be an endurance hog. Maybe 4/6 or 3/8 easily. Can drop aim or Tactics for Evasive Maneuvers in flight pool, pop another LoTG global recharge. Should always do seperate builds for fire farm from content. PVE build can work with S/L farm, but trying to get a PVE/Farm universal build makes the toon suffer in another area like recharge or resist.
  14. /jranger to save the cosmos If you buff Regen, that's a nerf. If you nerf Regen, that's a buff. If one is done more than the other, it will destroy the universe.
  15. I only did one toon, but it was shorter than 9 days. Count doesn't reset every badge its 100m total from zero to final.. Hitting 1 million nets a badge, 99m more to go. And so on. If you respec in aid self, you can auto it. Helps a little. If you use another player with teleport, they could put you into a damage crystal with a couple of cot hitting you assuming the crystal doesn't do damage to them.
  16. Chris Jenkins, attorney at law. After being consistently sued and buildings being repaired, heroes either had to leave the city or the city had to find a way to keep it under budget. So, they designed disposable solar panels installed by convicted Skulls and Hellions in a chain gang. That's the story and we are sticking to it!
  17. .02 influence as I made an WM/Elec brute who tanks better than DPS (kind of a pyrrhic victory build, does what it supposed to do but didn't reach expectations): you are over slotted in recovery with the stuff in stamina and health, you got an endurance drain and reduction cost. You could also lose a little bit of resist like 10% and raise the smashing/lethal defense to soft cap; you can avoid 3/4 of the attacks comming at you as a lot of split damage is C/L, F/S, or E/S ect. Than pop Energize to recover and regen it back, your only weakness is -regen at that point. Energy blast is laughable, you either avoid it or laugh as it does 10 points of damage.
  18. Thats called Assault Rifle
  19. Yes Just avoid Hemorrhage, its a slow dot like Gloom. Takes way to long to apply damage when any other attack will recharge twice to do about the same or greater. Really needs a tweak to front load some of the damage. Savage could use a tweak eventually, like how TW and EM got a buff, something that increases damage. The +rech is nice, the -end cost is neglible at best (yet my Savage/Electric brute is always dying for endurance if I miss the Energize which is near perma.)
  20. Been suggested some time last year, same reason : RP. Its next to impossible, you are going from a mission instance to a mission instance. Doesn't work. Best option would be to assign a zone and let AE use that zone's random doors instead of the Matrix green column., than implement some sort of contact or radio option to call them instead of running to the AE building so you are not breaking immersion.
  21. And it has survived every nerf buff thrown at it. 😒
  22. Aside from a slight endurance consumption increase running fly/hover at the same time; its an improvement. Afterburner is a booster, you don't need it 24/7. Evasive Maneuvers is the power that sold flight with a speed boost, mobility, and-fly protection. only downside is 3 picks where 2 are identical with different speeds. Flight and hover should be 1 power, hover is replaced as something else, evasive Maneuvers as a tier 3 like acrobatics.
  23. Savage/Shield. Savage has a AoE teleport attack, half the recharge of lighting.
  24. This is my my face and thoughts right now.... First, I gave you a good build that is cheap. Second, Farm Fresh has all the top end builds in the guides section. Gonna rip you a new one.... Not being an asshole. Cranky today. Whats your global? I can send a spare Superior Frozen Blast (Mu Epic AoE either Electric Fence or Ball lighting) and Superior Avalanche (Quills or Burning Aura). Gives +12.5% fire defense, easiests sets to fit in the build since you have about 6 powers to choose to put the 2 in. Also a Steadfast and Gladiators Armor for Temperature Protection, together is +6% defense. Thats 18.5%, half your problem is solved. I got lots of extras just sitting around, just give me your @Global or shoot @Bonefire a tell so I can mail them, of if you play on Excelsior send a tell to Deadbloke my farmer.
  25. Second farming account, invite the alt and look for another player as a hitter or kinetics to help.
