There is an entire problem with this thread 6 slotting and ED Stamina and hasten; here is looking at you Otherwise 1 ACC/5 damage on your attacks.
-
Worth the bonus, a way will be found. Demons with +def, increase accuracy. KB problems, IO protection. Bosses heal themselves, but maps are not exactly AFK possible so they actively play the character instead of putting Burn on auto. Nobody says you need just Fire farms, lethal/ice/energy do exist. Fire easiest to manage since you got 3 PBAoE (if you go spines or rad melee), easiest to resist since the damage dot ticks are resisted unlike KB/-end/stun/-def/-slow/-rech, and the IO bonuses are stupid easy to find; usually in the top 3 of a set bonus. Actually have seen people with Council missions as farms, but pretty rare.
-
Fire damage map, slot knockback protection just in case, start, don't hit the trigger, exit select another mission, select farm mission of normal content to reset, rinse repeat. Nothing changes, just the location.

The badge, great its always a good idea. Other option is to just put it on an alt and delete it like a mad man. The third option you suggested, storing recipes You really want to store recipes in a SG storage bin? Sort and dig through all that repeatedly, You are going to have to go to SG, drag and drop into bin, come back later, pull out, check salvage or use AH outside SG, create, and then go to SG to drop in the bin after dragging from enhancement tray. Or find a few minutes, check recipes, check AH for needed salvage, pull out the table, create, go to SG, drag and drop the into the enhancement bin. Then just pull out the enhancements from a table when you need it. It only bugs me when everyone is "I need a storage rack for recipes" when its quicker to just create the enhancement and drop it on the table when you have it. Its even faster to just focus on the stuff like Pancrea +hp/end, Performance shifter, LoTG, and purples that drop. Can go for certain sets you desire, but the more popular IOs are a small fortune to save.
-
Again with the recipe storage suggestions... 1. Check Recipe list 2. See if you have all the requirements 3. AH what you need, and dropping the the recipe in allows a short cut to show its explicit requirements 4. ??? 5. Profit, dump in a table in SG. Literally why would you store a recipe when you already have the required salvage for 75% of it, badging doest count as an excuse because how many characters do you seriously want to badge just the IO buildin? Game shits out so much stuff you are going to be deleting and selling the stuff you don't need. Make the enhancement and save the useful one onto a rack, don't waste time running around digging through racks later when a few minutes now can create the item.

Thats why you don't invest heavily. Get to know the characteristics of the sets before suppung your Toyota to a Lamborghini. I did it with that Savage melee farmer, my mistake but nearly all popular farmer sets have a huge damage hit attack as a minion killer, SM is mostly DoT and the 32 attack is reliant on max range with manual clicking. Stupid annoying, but its my fault for assuming, wanted to make one last farmer and just gonna drop all the IO on him to another combo that I am familiar with. Again, don't invest. New players will figure it out sooner rather then later at 50, and TF/SF are kind of a joke at this point. As for badge unlocks account wide, exclude damage/heal/inf/accolade required badges and I wouldn't complain. Only reason I am counter to the suggestion it sounds like a thinly veiled suggestion to "wanna keep my name and accomplishments as I am done with this character and try something new so why Can't I just swap ATs." Its a game, enjoy the ride don't take a Concord Jet to cross the street when you can just take a stroll. Also keeping the characters allow you to go back to it if you change your mind. Otherwise if I would to agree to it, crap shoot lottery on the badges where half will disappear on the toon with the higher count while accolades are locked out for 30 days and hope you roll high for the accolade required; nothing should be free if you already "invested" the time but didn't invest in the character or powers. Don't want to sound like an ass but in ye old days of yore the only teleport was a power set, a train, and zone/mission door. Sprint to 14, Super Jump to 50 on all character save a few flight, all on SO. The fact its called Homecoming is like returning to those days, with an optional addition of instant travel. Its not a requirement, its a bonus other wise they wouldn't of removed/enterbase command.

Dunno, I just look at the chat box not the text bubble 99% of the time. When in a group, its just a point of reference where they are.

Probably the reason he summoned them. Bury the villian under a snow drift.

Take the tunnel, top of the list above Atlas it says Winter something. Bunch of what I would assume where players, Ascendant was there as well...on the phone.

Make Hasten Increase Max Run Speed
Outrider_01 replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Naw Add -speed and endurance recovery. Cause running around like you had 7 redbulls, 5 Monsters, couple of Rockstars, topped off with a Bang and some cuban coffee before hitting the streets is going to takes its toll even on Superman. -
Badges do nothing but unlock accolades while accolades boost the character regardless of powersets. So its not an option to not over invest in the Characters for badges and accolades until you know for a fact you like the powersets? l found that Savage/Fire is kind of meh for farming. Why would I invest for accolades and badges for something I didn't like? I don't get it 🤔. Unless you are regen and it gets nerfed more, no set has been heavily nerfed so its up to the player to decide if they like the set and then throw a fortune and time into it.

And expecting a "release names" post in Suggestions soon, count down beginning now.

Movies : Bad guys empty clips, never reloads Movies : Good guys empty clips, reload ???? Most movies is spray and pray, sure the good guy will reload occasionally but in the action sequences you see someone with a revolver and count 7 shot; kills it and not meaning bullets hitting the target. A .45 regardless of caliber; somehow the good guy can shoot 3-4 shots several times and by the time its down to 20 bullets you think 9mm? but he ducks and fires another adding to 25. 98% of the time, the bad guy never reloads and its almost always a machine gun of some kind; carbine, long gun, or uzi, its always full automatic. How realistic are movies again ? Also, like 90% of the bad guys are not realistic from Sky Raider teleporting to Hamidon jelly shots to CoT ghosts. Like, how do you realisticly animate that compared to a Skulls/Hellions that just use physical weapons?

Could we get a martial blaster set?
Outrider_01 replied to badudu8122's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Calteops is not a primary, its already in Devices. Envenomed blade wouldn't happen, most sets get a BU in the primary. -
Nerfing Regen is a buff. It makes the other sets look even better.

Necro post, but AFK farm a pair of -1 Ice Thorn Casters. 500 damage a pop, can tank 2 of them while in rest. Probably not good on a squishy, for my fire farm brute its a cake walk with heal on auto. Just don't use CoT Guides, they have Broadsword attacks and even with a -1 I don't thinks it survivable with 2 of them as they quickly killed it; same with a single Demon. Ice Thorn casters seem to be weak in regards to other CoT, in melee range they just keep swinging Ice Sword.
-
Wow, Outbreak's Coyote is also a memorial character. Did not know that, I think he would be the first then.

I can't say much except /jranger unless they are toned down. Cheapish Water/EngMan build (get the most out of Power Boost when its up with the -def) with no purples or winters, perma boost range and energize, 35% lethal/smash defense, and some knockback protection and no hasten...okish build to just waste time with a group who can cap that defense; it won't be competing stuff solo at +4/8 much. Dominator movement keybind, they are up 24/7 (granted crappy animation), And 21 slots left over 😨. If you want 2 minute duration boost range, probably cut the 50% down to half. That 50% for 2 minutes + perma endurance reduction; thats freaking scary at +100 range beyond NPC range attacks (lol Energy Torrent control, slot a range enhancement at 80 range and just keep hopping back) and probably a bit OP in PVP since you can just bounce around (slotted Fitness, CJ, and Sprint for unsupressed movement) with range attacks exceeding melee or most other range powersets except for anything /Energy Manipulation.

Simply put, they are not your kids. That's the problem. So your brother or sister are gonna hate you for getting them addicted to video games
-
Not a problem to be playing with the family Now, getting your sibling's offspring addicted to CoH...That is a problem.

Electric Control Pets have no travel assistance
Outrider_01 replied to Snowdaze's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I thought Electric pets travel power was called Grounded, it has to stay on flat level surfaces. Might explain the oddball travel paths. -
wasn't that avatar pic for quite some time? Or someone mentioning it, I remember something.

You invalidate a lot of your assumptions, as you don't know what the game was like compared to what you think it should be. HC is more traditional, its like an old home that got renovated; shiny paint job and maybe the living room got adjoined to the kitchen which now has an island counter; but its still the same house. Yeah, no. Subscription is a better payment method for one simple reason; F2P has less content which caters to the common denominator looking for a quick match. Subscription games turned to F2P, but it attracted more unwilling to pay previously but now is playing older content everyone else enjoyed years later; Everyquest comes to mind which turned 22 in April next year And wow, just discovered there are even older MMORPGs. They are not active; but some of them was up to as much as $6.00 an hour! Granted this is Wikipedia based facts; but considering some of it says AoL online service and they used to offer as low as 50 hours free to eventually 1000 hours with DVD installation; I could believe it. Everquest was $15 a month, thats 50 cents a day; damn cheap. You are looking for Sentinels. Shorter range blasts, resist and defense secondary. Blasters are damage/damage (basically WTFPWN/L2PNewb) with range being their primary form and much harder hitting melee attacks; their weakness being no defense or status protection. And like they say, best defense is an over whelming offense; you keep beating them down until you face plant and then get back up to be the crap out of them again. Glass cannon doesn't mean range; it means fragile as hell and highly dangerous. Right chemicals in a glass jar, BOOM! Flying fragments ever where; doesn't mean it has to shoot. You obviously, as stated have not played the game in retail. In 2004 at release; /Devices was not what it is today. Toxic grenade was just a damage less immobilize that slowed down the npc, caltrops didn't change, Taser was a piss ant melee range stun that did like 20 damage and now it is 20 range that hits like a tier 2 attack, Targeting drone was just +tohit with no sniper bonus damage (which was eventually ONLY to Assault Rifle as it lacked Aim) but wow does TD look impressive now, smoke grenade didn't change except for a nerf at some point as it was too powerful, Cloaking Device was only stealth (+smoke grenade = invise then toebomb) and now it offers some impressive bonuses (no OP, just far more then 2004), Trip Mine and Time bomb haven't change but Gun Turret was an immobile pet which now hovers. Devices is vastly improved from ye olde days of yore. HC team didn't fail, they rebuilt onto the house and expanded it, adding another floor and turning the basement into bowling alley. Yeah, I said half their powers had melee; not half the power sets had melee. You say range, you mean Ring of Fire ? Lots of ranged immoblize in the T1.
