  1. I farmed damage way back in the day, hit rest next to a CoT damage crystal. Not sure how, managed for rest to start without being interrupted and came back hours later as the damage ticked down with zero resist and high regen. Might of stood next to the crystals, I forget. Otherwise finding a single low damage minion or two with rest might work, as long as they have low damage attacks.
  2. Noticed its 1000 Jaegers, those are minion class. So its like upwards of 450,000 to 500,000 damage to complete against a really annoying faction. Rikti monkey badge is 1000 , are underling class. Level 50 in PI on the island are 175 hps, EZPZ kill and 175,000 damage to complete except when you get hit by a bunch at once . And not as annoying to kill like Nemesis. Jaeger count should be no more then 500, even if its a common spawn; 1 LT going down and its just not a fun moment when those rainbows light up. And is there Rikti Drone badge ?
  3. Its been 6 months, Electric Affinity needs a another pass over after just as much as Dark Melee is getting toned down and other sets are getting tuned up / brought in line. Static mechanic is useless beyond 5 in a group, even with a couple of masterminds on the team its like 40 something targets at 5. At 15, its over a hundred and beyond useless at that point. At 15 stacked, during a costume contest pissing people off it jump almost the entire side in length of one side where everyone stands in line. And the buffs got weaker, to no real affect. Only cool affect if the 2 lines stood next to each other, would be a Jacobs Ladder like you see in a Frankenstein laboratory. Buff Static, by allowing buffs to jump back and fourth after it has been applied. So the buff lasts longer but get weaker overtime Shock, single target debuff that is pretty effective....against an EB or AV. For a single target, it is next to useless at low levels at level 1 Add a jump mechanic to the shock, at least let it hit 5 targets. Static mechanic and Rejuvenation Circuit. RC is basically a splash heal like Radiant or Healing Aura, Aura have a radius of 25 and 255 target cap assuming everyone is hugging in a none pandemic situation. RC has a radius of 30, but that is for jumping mechanic it can go further and the target cap is reduced, as it is limited by the total number of Static built up. Essentially it trades range for a really weak heal. Static mechanic should act like a buff to the heal, perhaps adding a heal over time aspect like Temporal mending. Doesn't have to be high, just a nice extra other then 115 hps hitting 40 targets which is barely noticable Galvanic Sentinel could use a bit of damage to make it more useful. Energizing Circuit Pours more endurance then necessary: 1st target 50, 2nd 35, everything else is 25 Reduce the endurance drop, add a short term high recovery bonus. +Recharge aspect last longer, but reduces over time. 15 seconds, 5 sec +125, 5 second +75, 5 second +25 Faraday Cage The radius is tiny, the endurance cost is to high, and you have to resummon it constantly in a fast moving group Change it to a pet, like the Shield Drone in Traps. Some other aspect like it disappears after 60 seconds but has a longer recharge Empowering Circuit Find as is, lasts 60 seconds and doesn't stack. The way most of the buffs should act, but over time they should get weaker like Incarnate and like the suggestion for Energizing Circuit Defiberlate 7 range to activate, next to useless for a mass rez with the same radius of Howling Twilight unless you got a TP friend. Suggest a longer range to activate like 30 NPC stack, you can't get with in 7 range to activate. You can't target the player at this point, but the radius is small in when you are targeting an enemy and happen to be 27 radius out of 25 from the target. Insulating circuit Fine as is, an endurance reduction would be nice. Amp Up Situational single target buff on an asininely long recharge. The biggest problem with Electric Affinity is when given enough recharge, you have an attack chain for weak buffs that produce powerful effects (weak after a few targets). You can practically ignore the other half of you powers which is not Electric Affinity's, which just makes the set very click driven and kind of boring. And given enough recharge, the powers have a pretty high endurance cost of 13 for every cast for the 4 main buffs; even with Energizing Circuit its easy to drain your stamina if you get to far from your target. Static really needs to come into play more, it should increase the effectiveness of buffs and reduce in effect over time instead of increasing just the target cap. After that, can adjust the recharge of powers and beneficial effect; now you are not just clicking 4 keys to keep your team going.

  6. Rage crash after you go all hulk on them and bouncing bullets or avoiding them. Your character gets exhausted so suffers -Damage -Accuracy and -Recharge for like 10 seconds? With the long duration of the powers, your target should be dead long before it wears off.
  7. Easier AFK fire farming when Briggs map have them all walk into one spot. If aggro was greater they will clump up and die slowly instead of continuing to patrol; 16 in first spawn then 16 more and the first stops, second group has several die off and first group starts to feed in, then 16 more show up in spawn 3, some of spawn 1 is going to continue patrol after their number wasn't called to climb into Burn.

  9. If Bill, Will, Bob, Rob, Joe, Ted, Frank, Curtis, Bart, Burt, Fred, Jack, Dave, James, Rick, Sam, and John can't stop the Hulk..why would more guts jump him? Proof it isn't need
  10. Or brute, with a support like defender or corrupter so they still have range attacks. You won't need taunt to bring the enemies, they won't know what hits them as you come to them.
  11. The problem with a powerset that has 3 cones and relies on mostly bullets... You don't have to aim, just bring plenty of ammo 😉
  12. you mean as live is now? Like 3 versions: Live, a current beta, and a pending beta change to the current beta? Cause you can just Beta Center Copy Tool your current character, try it out, and respec to your hearts content to find what you might like. Then compare current live without beta changes to the beta changes upcomming.

  14. It takes 3.5 hours to PL a new character, keep the old one as your main and make it a sibling for background. Its impossible to change powersets, its baked in like origin. COH was supposed to be free form during design but went with AT instead..
  15. I get the fact that your suggestion would be a reverse idea of every other complaint about KB, that powers all star as knockdown and enhancements turn them into KB. Best suggestion anyone ever put form was a P2W power that affected all the powers for a temp KB->KD; so that it can be temporary without people bitching, complaining, and booting others with others "Well, its compromising my build" yet the majority of powers have the best bonus on slot 5, not 6 and you can 4 slot normal enhancements effects (+DMG, ACC, Heal) with the 5th as a proc; then a KB->KD in the 6 Just avoid KB powersets and don't group, solves the problem for everyone.
  16. Yeah...so long as they remove any star graphic that can be slapped on it; cause you know the steel looking skin probably doesn't exist for a certain patriotic military man in tights that would cause a huge issue.
  17. Needs to be specific what the OP is saying, but using an Illusion/Dark Affinity controler I could summon all the pets and dark servant click + pointing in the air. So a macro" /bind target location me " should just summon them then they drop Dark Control by itself, you cannot summon the Umbral Beast click + pointing in the air. You can use the Target Location command for the Umbral beast, but have to be with in the total summon distance above the ground....and if you use /powexec_location me Umbral Beast in a macro it actually moves the character downwards if you are too high until it can summon on the ground; that was kind of weird.

  20. Thoughts or opininion on PBAoE Fury of the Gladiator : Resist Debuff. Making a SM/Fire farmer for something different, think I have seen one other person with SM. So I was looking at that Gladiator debuff and considering putting it in either Burn or Rending Flurry. Burn has a longer recharge so it would proc often but it has a 5 target cap, Rending Flurry has a 10 target cap but shorter recharge. Trying to decide, since the higher target cap is going to hit minions more often and they just die to a breeze anyway vs the smaller target would help more on the LT/Boss/EB when they are still standing around melting.
  21. 1) It makes no sense to cause a migraine to an enemy, it would be as laughable has having a power to talk to animals...yet that power has been downplayed to turn Aquaman into a 2nd string Superman with more commonly known abilities like super strength. He is known to talk to animals, but you will see super strength and bouncing bullets from his invulnerablty more often. 2) Most secondary effects in CoH/V have very generic names like Sleep not Coma, Held not Imprisoned or Bound, Disorient/Confuse/Terrorize are the exception just because that is the name of the effect applied. You can use Horrify or Petrify, but Spook (doesn't really carry the same weight, more like startled), unhinged (crazy and discombulated), Peturb (troubled). As for Resonance suggestion, that one is just as good as Vertigo.
  22. Select the search box, type 3 letters. PROFIT! Back in the day, you only had 8 characters. Then they expanded after a couple of years, but I think it was from purchase store. Then it was just sliding a page or 2. Now, its 100 pages for 10 characters and totally not necessary for cause thats a lot! But but...There is a search option, which didn't exist before so they knew that 1000 characters was a lot. Also, this file is what you are talking about Does keep it in order. What it can't do is put the last active in order, only the player can do that. To get what you are asking, is a server side command that interacts with the client which would change those numbers automatically. Which would require more effort for a small unpaid team which already has an option to find what you are looking for. Would it be nice? Sure, but its so damn easy to search as long as you don't have to click it 3 times to get the blinking text marker to show up. I hate that! BTW, with the amount of effort the Dev team is putting in and the fact that they are unpaid; either they have a lot of free time or there is a lot more people on the team; maybe volunteers to create those new story arcs then feed it into the game side instead of AE.
  23. What is the effect exactly? It causes debuffs to not be resisted? Like it amplifies, read something a few posts up but didn't clarify. Then again, how much effect is really generating to be helpful. AV and Monsters, sure but its less effective against Lt/Minions cause they are going to be dead before its even useful. And given how powerful Incarnates and the way people slot their IO bonuses, it doesn't sound like its entirely benefitial given how powerful a group of super heroes before you apply debuffs then the Purple Arrows go up and it just seems trivial so long as your group isn't licking the floor before they faceplant. Ah, I see the picture above. Never mind.
  24. This. Migraines themselves are crippling, had them for a couple of years about a decade ago and then they disappeared for some reason so never suffered again. Vertigo is a better name, its kinda generic as a lot of stuff can cause the effect. Migraines, just a massive crippling headache nobody should suffer.
