  1. I'd even be happier if it acted like the Mastermind version, where it's the same power but you put it on a teammate rather than yourself.
  2. Sorry, it sounded to me like you were using powerexec_location but still winding up with a targeting reticule, which you don't when using the target option. I didn't get the "under the hood" part until now. Just trying to help.
  3. I use power_exec location to do this with Lightning Rod and Savage Leap. Target a bad guy and then hit the button or key with the macro. powexec_location target Lightning Rod
  4. Dang. I thought I read at some point on these boards that they weren't exactly toggles, but that they were setting a flag like you described, and that made them act like toggles. If that was the case I was holding it up as an existing example of how your number three could work. There's probably not a chance in the world I'll find that post again though. 🙂 Oh, I've definitely seen it work. I sapped that poor minotaur at the end of the Alpha slot arc so bad I'm not sure he attacked more than twice. It'd just be interesting to somehow see how much mitigation I'm getting. And if measurement was possible it'd be easier to gauge sapping's effectiveness. That said, I think if they were to make more stringent rules for END usage by NPC's they'd have to reduce the effectiveness of sapping somewhat. I think sapping is at a pretty good place right now.
  5. I think, not sure, but I think, that Tsoo Sorcerers follow rule number three already with their Hurricane. Every time I run them out of END the Hurricane drops, even though I know it's not an actual toggle. My Ice/Elec tank is like this too. With my slotting Energy Absorption takes away 70% of enemies' endurance. Electric Fences is 16%. Charged Brawl, Jacobs Ladder, Chain Induction, Thunder Strike, and Ball Lightning are all 7%. Four power executions and I've fully drained everyone around me, and some of those powers have -recovery as well. I don't think I could tank with just sapping, but I sure the heck know that it's not hurting me. I think the problem is that there's no way to really quantify how much sapping is helping.

    All Storm ITF

That was exactly the one. It was a great idea, I swapped characters as soon as I saw your advert in LFG and had a great time! Thanks!
  7. I don't know anything about TW, but I'm pretty sure that it didn't get any boosts from the Tanker changes, so I think that can be taken out of the Tank Pros list.

    Necro/Sonic

I specced out of Sonic Repulsion because the noise was so annoying, and not just to me but to teammates. Liquify's recharge is a complete mystery to me. Completely out of whack.
  9. There's a Bundle of Holding for Castle Falkenstein right now. I've been really tempted, it's a great system and setting. https://bundleofholding.com/presents/Falkenstein2020 There's going to be a new version of Deadlands coming out as a Kickstarter sometime in March I think, to go with the new version of Savage Worlds. 🙂
  10. I'm finding that Ice Patch works well with WP. I did have some Malta the other day that were somehow killing ALL of my regen, which was surprising, but I was still jumping in and doing OK.
  11. My zombies are all resist capped, they do pretty darn well in all content as well.
  12. I went and stood next to some gray cons in RWZ and didn't attack. I could see the Taunt message going through the combat log a bunch of times (I don't know how to look at logs) over the course of a minute. The tooltip says 14 seconds I think, but I'm not sure how to verify that. I'm happy to do what I can though. Maybe @Captain Powerhousecan help clarify the status of WP's taunt aura.
  13. How would I test the taunt?
  14. I finally re-created my main from Live, but this time made her as Willpower/Ice. She's early forties and cruising right along so far. I don't have a lot of resources for her, but I'd really like to chase some high goals with her in the long run. So far I'm impressed with WP.
  15. You could also just make another build for your Brute. Have one build that's a main tank build (your current build) and another that's an all-hands-on-deck offensive build. It makes your character that much more versatile and switches things up based on the vagaries of group composition. EDIT: Also, you can start groups and just say "need damage and control". I see stuff like that all the time.

    All Storm ITF

I did an all Illusion ITF a week or so ago, and three of us were Storm. It was absolute mayhem.
  17. 13th Age is spectacularly good IMO. 5E is fine, but 13th Age would be my D20 choice every time. Somewhere I have a City of Heroes conversion(?) done for Savage Worlds IIRC. I don't remember it being terribly complicated, so it may have been someone's work in progress. I think someone mentioned it on a forum and I messaged and asked them for it.

    Necro/Sonic

My Necro/Sonic is a banshee. 🙂 It's a killer combination in my opinion. Really high RES on pets and eventually on the MM as well. Plus Sonic is so useful to a team even without considering the pets.
  19. Yikes! I've been trying Willpower and thought that the aura had been fixed. It's not specified in the patch notes, but hopefully it falls under "All Auras that take endurance cost enhancements will taunt the enemies they hit."? From the Jan. 23 patch notes. Probably best to put a taunt in there just in case...
  20. And Hibernate. Nothing says "I'm the Tanker, I'll protect you" more than leaving combat and letting your team take the aggro.
  21. You shouldn't have to. Click on Null and then choose "What can you do?" off of the menu (or something like that, I think it's the last option). Then choose "Change Alignment" and then of course Rogue. There's Hero, Vigilante (hero with a touch of villain), Rogue (villain with a touch of hero), and Villain.
  22. If you're anything like me you'll be in the creator for 90 minutes and even then hit ICON at least three times before level 10 just to tweak things. 🙂 Welcome back!
  23. Nice! I like that one! You could make one of your costumes a Santa costume. 😉
  24. I've always thought fire resist too, it seems to make the most sense. Take away the need for the slow resist from Permafrost and I'm skipping it just like you. It's the only thing that makes it worthwhile for me. Take it away and the only thing that suffers is my fire resist; my cold resist still sits, even after taking out Permafrost, at 112% (it's 148% with Permafrost). That's out of hand, and especially considering it's COLD, which isn't exactly common, complete and utter overkill. Hold on a minute! Guess what? Turns out I didn't have EA turned on in MIDS. Holy smoke. I don't need that slow resist from Permafrost either. I probably have to keep it for the little bit of fire resist (dang it) but it's a bummer that's the case. Thanks so much for posting, I'd have never noticed.
  25. Disclaimer: this is all from Tanker perspective. Permafrost IMO has one really valuable trait: slow resist. I don't know about Stalkers, but I know on Tankers if you take Permafrost (and other powers) and add one Winter's Gift Slow Resist you get to 100% resistance to movement and recharge slows. Which is really really nice. I use it to slot the two global +DEF enhancements too. I'd love to see a fork where you could choose Icy Bastion or Hibernate. One thing I've always thought was weird about Ice Armor is the ridiculous amount of Cold Resistance you get. Is there a way to trade some of that in for something else?
