  1. Taunt is a level 47 or 49 power pick Most enemy attacks have an 80ft range Taunt has a -75% range effect 20ft after taunt melee range is 7ft in most cases builds are just too tight most of the time to even think about taunt and its limited low-mid level effectiveness please dont anecdote me

  5. Oh thats because [Burn] makes fiery aura what it is and it makes things run away from it making it meh. Its like a Stun but things running around at full speed still or enemies noticing [Time Bomb] and vacating the area

  7. And im not going to go looking for what the dev actually said about it, but Brutes and Tanks taunt auras keep enemies in Burn again because it was contradictory to their playstyle. This was over a year ago and i dont have that level of dedication to research what dev said it

  10. Flipside of your argument is that its not special enough and needs a buff. Give Blazing Aura a taunt effect to make things not run away from Burn and lets see what happens afterwards. Now that this has gone on for like 2 days im not sure what the OP was playing

Fiery Aura got its own category in those monthly reports back when they used to do them The game itself almost shut down when Burn was making enemies run from Brutes and Tanks awhile back Yeah, [Burn] makes Fiery Aura special. Also the thousands of people who play it. Yep, I think its time to give Scrapper's Fiery Aura a taunt effect. Because it makes sense and does not contradict the scrappers playstyle, sense of being and other dev-like wording
  13. Fiery Aura is special tho, needs a taunt aura. you can leave challenge the way it is however.
  14. ill/kin, but then again its my uber ultramax +rech character with atos, epics and whatnot. and 3 50+5s in hasten stacking siphon speed is huge. i have 30-40s downtime in posi/synapes, and in yin its close enough to maybe be perma i guess but level 27+ is when perma PA kicks in also 50+5s in siphon speed, 2 acc 3 rech, at high levels its overkill but lower levels i notice it
  15. brutes have scrapper numbers for their armors but they have tanker caps just let fire armor scrappers get taunt on their blazing aura
  16. Just give Blazing Aura a taunt for Scrappers. Not only does it make sense, its probably easier. AND it leaves Taunt alone
  17. I am 90% sure that OP wants shit to stop running from [Burn] Just give blazing aura for scrappers a taunt effect Servers almost broke like a year ago when brute burn was making things run away
  18. Can this get bumped up to 15 seconds or so? One of the huge turnoffs for me on the set is the time it takes to get to the next group when the current group gets deleted super fast and having to watch the stage 3 combo drop Or even uniqueness be damned, i would even go for switching to StJ and Staffs combo system. Now it feels you need two different builds, one for low level and the other for high level or need to kinda suck it and take all 9 powers. with the right or wrong secondary its always going to be a tight build
  19. My bot/trap t1/3 are overdef as it is, 50%ish. but my t2 are like 41%. not often but that 4% makes me do more work. Sounds like I will still be overdef after the patch but I am not ganna do math or worry over something in beta. May the forums be damned if I log in with 44% def to all however.
  20. /Energy Solid single target, I cant remember if Total Focus holds or stuns but its effected by Domination and knocked out bosses PowerUp for longer holds/confuse/extra damage Ok AoE at a reasonable level Knockback from that one Twirly Blast Thingy is annoying but nothing a KB>KD didnt fix Only regret is that I personally didnt have enough slots to procup tentacles
  21. Now if you can talk the dev team into translating that into TF rewards and mess with the probability of random drops go for it. But from my point of view its just easier to Frankenbuy using threads and shards for Alpha stuff

This is correct Itrials award threads and thread related items Task forces award shards and shard related items Removing shards would bump everything around. please do some math on how much a shard/notice is really worth when using it as intended and not just for converting into threads /jranger
  23. doing said thing would also diminish the need for itrials assuming the old task force rewards also will reward threads and thread related items domino effect will lead to pretty much just making a P2W vendor selling incarnate powers for like 1m inf a piece sorry man things are ok the way they are, please embrace frankenbuying of alpha slots /jranger
  24. as someone who has never done a bit of coding in their life but see other people talking about it i can safely say that removing shards sounds like a nightmare to due for a small volunteer dev team for a problem that doesnt really exist /jranger
  25. You know you can mix and mash together the crafting of the alpha slot, right? For example, threads for tier1/2, and use shards and shard related items for tier3/4, between the weekly Notice of the Well and daily level 50 content the amount of shards builds up over time and using threads for other incarnate powers while doing so Getting rid of Shards would either blow Thread production into overdrive which will also effect the other speed of the other incarnate powers and wait a minute why am i putting effort into this /jranger
