Radiation/Fire/Flame Blaster 1.) Thematic. No one is going to argue with a radiation colored fire sword/other abilities 2.) Very 'melee' based. Irradiate+combustion+blazing aura is going to be your nuts and balls. Fire Sword Circle is in a league of its own 3.) Ring of Fire (secondary tier1) does more damage than Neuron Bolt.. as long as a few ticks get out. bosses and such 4.) Burn and Hot Feet are 100% optional. Burn being highly debateable but in late game CoH things die pretty quick and its radius is rather small compared to your other stuff. and hot feet is just too expensive end wise for what ya get. Also both are like hats on hats. Heres how it works: Combustion is a rather long dot, cast this first. Irradiate is a short but fast ticking dot that stacks amazingly well with Combustion and Blazing Aura. Oh right, Blazing Aura. Slot it 3 acc/dmg hamis, 2 healing, 1 end. This way, 3 dots are always ticking and 3 dots are always on. Ring of Fire added on to a boss and things literally melt. Fire Sword Circle is a beast of its own and I use when the others are on cooldown. Atomic Blast is another melee based thing and just great Skip these in radi/fire/flame) Neutrino Bolt Electron Haze (ranged, cone, awkward to use when most your other stuff is PBAoE) Neutron Bomb (longass cooldown and really really bad damage) - Fire sword is up to you. I use it becuase its a green sword made of fire Consume (redundant with numina/miracle/blazing aura) and insps and burn/hotfeet already talked about - char (too long cd, and chances to stack with others too rare) melt armor (too long cd, blaster numbers bleh) Also slap an Overwhelming Force: KB to KD in Rise of the Phoenix. Turns it into a gigantic burn patch. Literally Nuke after animation to make them regret defeating you

Oh I didnt mean using the actual buildings/interior/the world. Just an animation that fires a grapple, you dont have to see or care where it connects to. it just has to function teleport-wise

The current teleport gives us a low speed Flight buff for like 4 seconds with little to no flight speed. Lets bump up the flight speed, add a 2-5 cooldown on Grapple and Glide gives out or gets progressively slower over time

True but I need SOME AoE while leveling up. Not having any AoE at all makes low level weeklies a slog. So I been playing fire/staff/stj past few days and loving it so far.

Staff works with almost anything. Guarded Spin will give you plenty of melee defense, allowing slotting for Ranged Defense. I went with Staff/Willpower. Mako's Bite, Eradication sets, few red fortunes and couple reactive armors, maybe an obliteration set

Might have to add ice/fire stalker to my list Two single target attacks pre-20 is actually pretty horrifying

Back in the before times, in the long long ago I played a Claws/Regen Stalker. It was a rough as fuck uphill battle to level 6. I never died so much on a new alt before and because in Issue 6 times this was all new and exploratory. I trained [Assassin's Strike] and thought yeah, its all downhill from here. Snake boss, readying up, sick of dying and realize this was my moment of glory building up to take down a foe stronger than I am to- I missed Assassin's Strike. I died. I instantly deleted the alt and from issue 6 to 23 I never touched that Archetype since. Until now. Dual Blades: Does this have AoE pre-26? Seems weird for combos. No follow up and such Elec/Shield: do the teleattacks crit? same with Spring Attack while we are at it Willpower: worth it with all the toggles and no quick recovery? SInce aoe is a large part of this game even in the early levels, are the sets with no aoe until 32ish even worth it?

I am so bored I am starting to branch out into ATs that I never once considered on live. Ice/ice dominator: Is Arctic Air effected by Domination? Is World of Confusion worth taking with this combo? Fire/thorn dominator: Is Bonfire+KB to KD still knocking back enemies with Domination up? Gravity/? dominator: Do Doms have Impact? If so how is the damage? My goal is to have a 100% ranged dominator Mind/Psi dominator: Is Mesmerize (tier1 primary sleep) worthy as an attack? Another trying to 100% ranged dom attempt ?/Energy dominator: wtf is Energy Release? Fire/Fire dominator: Think Char (4/6 basalisk's gaze + 2 dmg/mez hamis) and ring of fire (ranged damage set) can be enough damage for yet another attempt at a 100% ranged dom? or would the dot's never come to full duration to matter

radio/paper missions, low stakes low commitment. calm down. But the next time you go on a rampage watch others, they might stop for awhile and give them a target. if they are targeting you and they leave afterwards.. well.

People lost their damn minds when they realized Overwhelming Force KB to KD totally changed the way Bonfire works and has become a staple since then. On another note, have you ever joined a random radio/paper group, went nuts with knocking everything around mindlessly and then suddenly right after the mission people left? Those are the nice people who also hate knockback

You are asking me to play something that I hate. But to counter argue, I have gotten plenty of compliments on both khelds and energy blaster for having KB to KD slotted. It is an amazing feeling however. just pure, raw unmitigated damage going out. No procs, no building stacks, no hoping for alternative effects to go off. just buildup and start blasting and watching the entire battle field end up on their backs without being knockedback. The absolute feeling of power of using Power Burst, knocking down a boss and instantly just start wading through its health with a follow up of Bone Smasher and/or Energy punch while its on its ass. Reminder that KnockBack to KnockDown enhancements do not reduce the chance for said effects to happen, its just the distance they go. Long posts with stuff you dont like reading are not fun, are they?

if this is true why has knockback so widely despised for about 16 years now? one other private server got rid of them all as a baseline and you can get it back via knockback set recipies another private server gave the players a toggle to turn them into a knockdown and here we have an enhancement to get rid of knockback People hate knockback all the servers give players the ability to make them go away an extreme vocal few actually like knockback and the people who use it well, are people who slot KB to KD and just unleash the beast the rest.. are just griefers.
