Last night I had more severe lag in the MSR on Everlasting than I've ever had, and it seemed a few others were facing the same thing too. Nothing else going on in the background; had shutdown my browsers and such; screenshake was toggled off. But that's the only time I've experienced anything super noticeable regarding it. I expect some lag during MSRs, but last night was more than normal. At least we didn't crash the server though because I've had that happen before. xD

It's one of those different strokes for different folks kind of things. I personally find melee toons a bit difficult to get into. I prefer support and pet classes, and something about the MM playstyle draws me in and I find them enjoyable to play, though exemping and sidekicking on them is a bit annoying since the pets have to constantly die and be resummoned.

I am unfortunately going to have to withdraw for tomorrow as my parents called and want to meet my daughter and I for lunch at 11am. And since I have at least a 30 minute drive, I don't think I'll have enough time to do this and I don't want anyone to feel rushed.

For sure. Everyone's gotta do what's best for them. The numpad binds happen to work for me, macros seem to work better for others. Even with the binds, I'm an average player at best and definitely still make mistakes and get myself killed on my MM's.

I only use the numpad binds for my MM's, so I never have to worry about that. Since MM's are one of my post played AT's, I don't have an issue remembering what my binds are and what they do. I mean, you do whatever works for you, but it's not rocket science to remember how my pet commands are mapped.

I think we determined a while back that BG mode is any command so long as you are in defensive stance. Meaning, Defensive Follow, Defensive Stay, and Defensive Attack My Target should all be considered BG mode. Edit: Also, I can't recommend Sandolphan's numpad binds enough for MM's (or some variation of them). I can't play MM's without them, they make pet control so much easier, and you can control each individual tier of henchmen if needed.

Like I said, I really like the idea. I think it's a cool and unique approach to MM henchmen. This was just something I was curious about, so thank you for the detailed answers.

Right, I suppose it does seem an obvious thing, which does answer part of my question. What I should have worded better was does the MM's secondary (if they took one with a heal), allow them to directly affect the built-in damage over time effect. e.g., If say, I want to stand in AP with my pets out from this primary, could I say, leave the heal aura from empathy on auto cast as a means of keeping them from dying because I'm not in combat? I was just curious to the full extent that the built-in damage over time effect can be combated by the MM themself. As described, these are almost like henchmen you would summon right as you go into combat, which for MM's, is a bit tough. By the time we summon all three tiers and buff them, much of the combat is over (if you're teaming).

I think the idea of this is super fascinating. Would healing the henchmen from the MM's secondary help keep them alive? Or is it strictly from their lifestealing nature? If we can't heal them to help keep them up, I can see that being a potential issue once they start level shifting.

My ice/ice stalker is easily my favorite of any stalker I've played/tried.

Use ctrl (cmnd (sp) on mac) + F and use that to search the pages for mastermind. That made searching through the builds for me far easier. @JJDrakken can't thank you enough for spending your time doing this. Making builds absolutely terrifies me and overwhelms me, which makes people like you a blessing for people like me. I found builds here for some of my higher level masterminds who really ought to be thinking about these sorts of things. And I hope that by using and studying these, I will be able to learn to do this myself as well. Thank you for the contributions you have made to this community. ❤️

You can make a neon costume without using the spectrum pieces. Neon is just those really bright, kind of obnoxious colors on the color palette. For example, this is my character Neon Pixie on Everlasting. I made her skin bright, her clothes bright, and all her powers are bright and obnoxious. You could also do it using those costume pieces that have glowing bits (Ascension, Celestial Armor, Tech Knight, Retro Sci-Fi, etc.) and make the glowie bits into bright colors that would represent neon lights.

Idk, I can only go off what he told me over hangout. He said he tested positive for COVID. I thought he was going to get lucky and get the omicron strain; I had that in January and it was annoying, but nbd. He said he coughed up blood and had to go on oxygen, but I haven't heard much from him otherwise. So yeah, idk for sure, obviously since he's overseas in Yemen. Regardless, thank you for the well wishes Snarky, they're appreciated. 🙂

Ha, I will if we can ever bring him home from deployment. Right when he was getting ready to return to the states, he caught COVID and is fighting off a pretty gnarly strain of it from the sounds of it, so he has to stay there until he's cleared of the virus and okay to return home. 😞

Perhaps you're going out of their "summon" range which is leading them to trying to catch up to you instead of staying where they're told? I've never tried what you're describing, so that's the only thing I can think of as I use the stay command a lot with my Bots/Nature to keep them in the fairy patch, but I'm never far from them and always end up reverting them back to follow when I need to move on.
