Depends what the toggles are. If they're resist toggles, go with Cardiac Core. If they're defense toggles, go with Agility Core. -

Agree on Rad and Dark. Also, Nature gets just about all its tools by lvl 12 and Trick Arrow by lvl 18. Wouldn't recommend Cold, since you don't get Sleet until 26. Same goes for Time and Slowed Response. -

Please explain. Judgement, Lore and Destiny are flagged to ignore enhancements and external boosts, Alpha only adds enhancement strength to slotted powers that take those enhancements. -

I haven't seen it as a requirement to join, but for Relentless Aeon, the teams I have run with have wanted 3-4 on the team. On several occasions I have crafted one on a character that didn't have one already. -
I just respeced my Poison/Sonic defender for the Page 4 changes. I added Screech and dropped Scream (defenders have to keep Shriek) and slotted Siren's Song (was previously 1-slotted). I don't have room in the build to slot both Howl and Shockwave. Currently keeping Howl, as it has -res and Shockwave doesn't, but I think the arguments in favor of Shockwave are also valid.

Sorry for necro-posting. Slotted in a click, I get continuous 5% Psi resist (without using the power) but not the 20% mezz resist. Should be both or neither, and the text should be fixed to correctly describe it.

Time's melee attacks are quite solid and certainly better than those in the Fighting pool. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find something that worked thematically if you changed the colors.

Invulnerable: Debuff Defense resistance

Invulnerability is a hybrid set, not a resistance set. You're vastly underestimating the amount of defense the set provides. On a tank, fully slotted Invincibility with 10 foes in range would provide 23.4% defense to S/L/F/C/E/N. Tough Hide adds another 7.8% for a total of 31.2%. Also, both RPD and Tough Hide have 25% defense debuff resistance (50% total). -

At ED max slotting in Farsight, you would have 14.6% defense. If you take Power Boost at 44, you can increase this to 22.9%. Fully slotted Weave, Maneuvers and Combat Jumping would provide an additional 14.6%. The Steadfast Protection and Gladiator's Armor +def uniques would add another 6%, getting you to 43.5%. Slotting IO sets with defense bonuses would more than make up the difference. Hitting the softcap at 40 without Power Boost would require more set bonuses but it's quite doable.- 78 replies

You can absolutely solo Rad/Rad, but not with just Neutrino Bolt. It's absurdly low damage. At the least, you will want Proton Volley and Cosmic Burst.

I assume you're talking about Provost Marchand's arc. That last mission is a pain to solo for most ATs. Time's Juncture is a PBAOE -dmg/-tohit/-speed. The radius is 25 feet, not 2 meters. Calvin Scott is an AV downgraded to EB and heavily resists -tohit. Temp Inv is a S/L res armor. Calvin Scott's attacks are Energy/Lethal, so Temp Inv will reduce damage taken from the lethal damage. Doubt it would have kept you alive. Do you have Farsight?- 78 replies

Time Crawl: ST -rech/-regen/-speed. No choice. Doesn't do much on its own, but it triggers additional debuffs on other powers. Fine with 1 acc in base slot. Temporal Mending: PBAOE heal. Must take. Time's Juncture: PBAOE -tohit/-dmg/-speed toggle. Must take. Temporal Selection: ST ally dmg/rech/regen buff. Also improves buffs from Temporal Mending and Chrono Shift. Skippable or fine with base slot. Distortion Field: AOE -rech/-speed. Skippable or fine with 1-2 slots. Can also be used as prob bomb. Time Stop: ST hold/-regen. Skippable. If you use Time Crawl first, Time Stop will hold a boss. Farsight: PBAOE +def/+tohit/+per. Must take. You will want an Epic that includes Power Boost or Power Build Up, which will allow Farsight to cap defense. Slowed Response: AOE -res/-def. Must take. Chrono Shift: PBAOE +rech/+rec/heal/+end. Must take.

If you're going to solo, I would pick Time or Nature. Time makes it easy to cap defense and provides enemy debuffs, while Nature gives you +resist, +absorb and +regen as well as solid enemy debuffs. Kinetics has great damage buffs and a strong heal, but few buffs or debuffs that will keep you alive.

Don't know your power selections, but at lvl 8 the only control powers you have access to are the ST hold, ST and cone immobilizes, ST confuse and cone fear (the cone sleep isn't available until lvl 12). Only the hold is a true "hard" control which prevents the foe from acting at all. The immobilizes just prevent the foes from moving, not from attacking. The fear limits the foe's ability to run or attack, but doesn't eliminate it. The confuse causes the foe to fight for you. Domination increases the magnitude and duration of the mezz, not its chance of occurring. Do you have accuracy slotted? The powers don't work if you miss.

I've got a lvl 48 Poison/Sonic defender. Putting this here assuming this applies across ATs. Of the normal attacks, I've currently got Shriek, Scream, Howl, Shout and Siren's Song (1 slot). I've also got Arcane Bolt and a procced out Neurotoxic Breath for another cone. Based on the damage and animation changes in Page 4, not sure if a consensus has formed for the best picks. Here's what I'm thinking: Drop Scream for Screech. (This will cause problems if I exemp below 30.) Add slots to Siren's Song. (Haven't decided where they're coming from.) Drop Howl for Shockwave. Thoughts? Will probably wait until I hit 50 to respec.

Obviously it's situational, but is there something wrong with Fallout? Fairly certain it hasn't changed since launch. -
I set the mission to +0/x1 and take the extra few minutes to rob the bank and defeat the hero. The temp powers are handy, particularly the self rez and ATT.

A LFG Option for Ouroboro Task Forces

To my knowledge, the only events you can join in progress using LFG are incarnate trials, SBB and the Halloween and Winter events (i.e., the ones that port you directly into the mission). If you use LFG to join a TF/SF, it just TPs you to the contact. It is not possible to join a Posi TF in progress using LFG. -

Looks solid. A few suggestions: Slot Tar Patch with 1 recharge IO Add a slot to Darkest Night for more -tohit. Slot Howling Twilight with 1 recharge IO You could drop a slot from Shadow Fall as you're over ED max for defense. If you're running Tactics, you don't need the Kismet +acc in Fade You could drop a slot from Soul Absorption Slot endred in Tactics.

Wormhole is one of several powers that doesn't notify mobs (Confuse, Mass Confusion, Mass Hypnosis, Flash Arrow, Smoke, and Smoke Grenade are others). Putting procs in them that affect the target negates this. AFAIK, procs that affect the caster (i.e., Force Feedback %recharge) are OK.
