Thanks for this. As a relatively new returner (does that even make sense?) I have been wondering about this.

I can't see the pvp version going through. Coordinating between different groups would be extremely difficult. I'm up for the other stuff though. Seems a lot more doable, even if not immediately.

Dunno. I feel prices are remarkably stable in general. Sometimes things go up. But not huge amounts. 100k for a converter vs 70k is a decent percentage difference but still pocket change. You should make that difference in one decent spawn at level 50. I convert and sell a decent bit but things do not vary in price that often or that much. Even making a 2 million inf enhancement 3 million is not a significant change. Flipping on live made low level common arcane salvage 10x more expensive (remember 25k luck charms?). That is something that registers on the radar. This is all anecdotal and all but I think the market is pretty good personally. I'm not a rich player. I have never had more than 200 million at once on a character since I've so far not gone into winters or cytos.

Personally, I'm not having that hard of a time getting names. If anything I am shocked at what I have successfully named things as. I see really awesome names all the time out in the wild. I know this is all anecdotal and all. I may not get my first choice but I get a good choice. What's the pop compared to live? I'm guessing way smaller. Though 1k slots might make each person take more names.

I have it on good authority that you can often have internet and can have a laptop nowadays. That being said I have never seen a "brb. Destroying the enemy".

Good to know. That's on a non travel power natural guy right now but not I need to try it on my other character with fly! Just the animation of your guy junping on there is delightful.

On my newest 50, I ended up with 700,000 or so after buying my last purple (including accidentally paying 16.5 mil for a converter accidentally).

Read this guide yeah it's confusing since the system is the result of adapting a free model to a pay model and also lack of refinement due to an unexpectedly early sunset of the live game. All the parallel resources boggled my mind when I got my first 50, since I stopped playing live before incarnates were even a thing.

Usually I stand in a cave or warehouse punching my hand and monologuing when a hero gets close.

I'm not a stalker pro by any stretch. I only have just gotten my first level 50 stalker after mostly being on brutes. But it seems that there are kind of two play styles depending on solo or team. Imo that's fineb even theme-wise. When you're a pro assassin solo or duoing, you can be careful and methodical. But now imagine you are a sneaky assassin who is running with an army that is just going guns blazing and missiles firing at another army that is also going guns blazing. Would you then try to sneak around and be methodical in an active battlefield that is currently exploding everywhere? It doesn't make thematic sense.

Another thing to remember is that messing up while slotting is generally not a huge waste. You get 5 respecs for free if you get to level 50 (one per 10 levels). There are also unslotters you can get on the auction house for around 120k which is relatively cheap. Everything can be sold for near the amount you bought it for (you do lose out on the listing fee) but generally the consequences are light.
