It is, indeed, unique. While the Devs have stated that they do want to look in to some additional costume items, potentially even from NPCs; signature costume pieces will remain unique to the signature characters who use them. No idea if that will include Swan's feathers; but I'd hazard that it'd be likely. No E.T.A. on that either, or even if it will happen at all. The Homecoming Team would -like- a lot of things, much like the rest of us players, but there aren't any guarantees.

I would like for any future Badges to not be grindy. I like Badges (and Achievements, Trophies, et cetera) as incentives and positive reinforcement for behaviour that you want players to performs. I'd also like existing Badges to be tweaked to be less grindy, but I understand that changes of that nature would be controversial for some players. I hear you on that one, Sovera. I have a whole group of tabletop roleplayers; about eight of them are very active and make it to scheduled sessions. I got four of them to try City of Heroes. None of them stuck around longer than two months. -

Tempest's Roleplay Suggestion Compendium

Low Hanging Fruit with potentially deep roleplay usefulness: Step 1: Copy the Just For Fun Snowball Power, Step 2: Strip the animation and activation time from the Power, Step 3: Name the new Power "d100.00 Test" or something to that effect, and adjust the Combat Log text to match, Step 4: Place said Power in the P2W Vendors, in the Just For Fun category. This will be a quick way to add a die check mechanic in-game, without having to program any new slash commands for the chat. I already use the Snowball for this purpose, but the wind-up time and the animation are both significant issues. The animation especially, since it's very disruptive to roleplay activities. May we have this brought to @Captain Powerhouse's attention for a quick feasibility study on it? Are we looking at 5 minutes of work (excluding testing, since testing always takes longer than anticipated), half an hour of work, or days worth of work? -
I've had a helluva time searching, so maybe my memory's just failing me, but I could have sworn someone suggested this in some other thread. The idea of having some NPCs on the roads who are cyclists, just for that little extra bit of city flavour. Obviously a huge undertaking for a 3D modeller, but it would be a nice touch, I think. Also, the specific reason this idea popped in to my head: I witnessed a cyclist in my city who had some portable speaker on their person, and they were playing a drum-and-bass beat that sounded suspiciously similar to the one which plays by "that one car" that drives around Kings Row. You know the one! (actually, I suspect that the car in question exists in multiple zones, but it just -feels- most appropriate in Kings Row) In any event; it just struck me as amusing. Some guy on a bike, listening to heavily sub-woof'd bass, which is usually reserved for a low rider with neon glow coming from underneath.

Hopefully we'll see more elements of character appearance separated, such as facial features themselves. Even just separating tops (eyes and nose) and bottoms (lips, cheeks, and jaw) of faces would multiply the total number of possible faces exponentially. Similarly, a Top Facial Detail and a Bottom Facial Detail could have a similar impact.

Cannot zone into Echo: Galaxy City and getting stuck

I used to have problems with Kallisti Wharf not loading large chunks of geometery. The only fix for me was a -complete- reinstall. I moved personal files to a portable harddrive (screenshots, bind and option files, chat logs, et cetera), then deleted -everything- else related to CoH completely. It was a serious pain in the butt, but it eventually fixed my issue. If nothing else does it, I recommend attempting this method. -
Jump Pack, and many other very useful Powers, are available at the P2W Vendors (or Transact 4 Victory in Praetoria). There is one in each Tutorial Zone, starter zone, and in Grandville, Firebase Zulu, and Pocket D. They're incredibly convenient, but some Powers require Inf to purchase. You can send in-game emails to your own Global Handle to transfer funds to new characters, though. The slash command works for ANY base that has a Passcode, since the passcodes expressly make the bases public. If someone needs more than 1000 Character Slots on the same Shard, then they may just want to grab another Account at that point. I don't think there's been anyone legitimately and seriously asking for more Character Slots per Account . . . yet. Honestly, I'm a little surprised that there -isn't- a rule about that in the Code of Conduct. I mean, it would negatively impact me, so please don't make such a rule! But still . . . unlimited free accounts . . . how is that tenable?

We seem to be getting a few of these threads lately. I don't suggest this lightly, but it may be time for another revision pass over the Code of Conduct to emphasize the importance of certain regulations related to real-world events.

Don't forget to look at the original Dark Astoria lore if you want a real headache of trying to sift through contradictions. As I understand it, the Devs near Sunset resolved most of the conflicts in that lore by expressly stating that Astoria went "Dark" three times total, and was reclaimed between only to be lost again. -
