One of the things I read about Thunderspy was a change covering this. Sure, Necro shouldnt get more pets at base, than other sets, but then why do we have Gangwar (clearly the best 'special' MM power). Demons also get HoE, with the lil demon things. Admittedly, Necro gets SoulEx..which is pretty shit. The Thunderspy server tweaked SoulEx so its like..a toggle, that auto extracts on any dead thing around, and summons a basic Zombie, every 30 (or whatever) seconds. Those zombies only last 20 secs, but can keep spawning up to X amount. This gives teh necromancer a horde (ish) of weak undead minions, providing you keep killing stuff (Gangwar would STILL be way better versus a hard target). The idea seemed really cool.

issue 27 Patch Notes for December 1st, 2020 - Winter Event!

The color changes to LRTP look awesome! Super easy to read and professional! -
Got my Em/Bio scrapper to 50 the other day. Just before that, I was playing a Ma/Bio scrapper, so both sets are fresh in my mind. Before changes (both to MA, cobra strike, and the new EM ones) both sets when very very similar. Single target focus, stuns, one pbaoe, literally STun (before this was changed) power with minimal damage. MA gets the super nice crit buff from Eagle's Claw, and Dragons Tail is a bit more reliable in terms of mitigation than WH. but now, with the EM changes.. EM has TWO Extreme attacks, another aoe cone (which can hit more targets sometimes), and a far better damage type (energy/smash, as opposed to just smash. Ma has two superior attacks (EC only does a bit more damage than Axe Kick) and a single aoe. Obviously not all set should/can/will be equal..but the new EM is amazing. My main on Live was an EM/Da brute, and the changes nailed it. Sure, some people here have talked about how some feedback said the lack of 'always on' fast ET just killed it, but given that TF GIVES the ability to fast et (even on a miss..seriously, can we get that for other combo sets? Waterblast, StreetJ and Dual Blades arent really seen as top tier anyway)..we get the next best thing. And unless you literally click random buttons, as opposed to SOME thought behind an attack chain, you always have fast et. I do lots of duo'ing with a friend, and we have run basically every tf together. I am usually the melee, and last night we were doing Citadel. She remarked (and she does NOT play many melees herself, so the observation is more on how the set looked) that I 'was gonna make them nerf it again.' Being able to kill a boss (even con, we just do the TFC ones to get them done) in TWO hits, without build up, without crits...is just crazy. Trying to think of any of my other melees that can do that, and aside from stalkers with AS+BestAttack...I cant. Maybe StreetJustice, with 3 combo CU..but that set also lacks a superior/extreme second attack. So yeah..the changes are great. More aoe is gold, and even if the clear times aren't the best, its a blast to play. Now..about those MA changes..?

I like this idea. It is easy to miss the Invasion notices (seems my tabs ALWAYS have them off) or be mid tf/team.

Who plays this way? Aside from a (Slow) SNipe attack..no attacks work this way. Sure, you will be rooted for teh animation duration, but NOTHING is stopping you moving as soon as it fires. Sure, movement suppression kicks in, but you are hardly stuck unable to move, as per your example. Even melee attacks, it is perfectly possible to jump away as you hit the button, so the attack animates and hits, while you are mid jump moving to another mob. I think what you dont like is the movement supression..and again..nothing at all is forcing you to stay still after an attack animates.

More of an observation than calling for a change..but... You hit BCU with your Moonbeam for 434.77 points of Negative Energy damage. You hit BCU with your Offensive Adaptation for 59.85 points of Toxic damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Total Focus for 181.12 points of Smashing damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Total Focus for 379.38 points of Energy damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Offensive Adaptation for 59.85 points of Toxic damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Energy Transfer (Focused) for 675.23 points of Energy damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Hecatomb: Chance for Negative Energy Damage for 103.6 points of Negative Energy damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Offensive Adaptation for 32.94 points of Toxic damage. Obviously the proc should not count for a powers total damage (I assume), so the extra dam from Offensive would just go via the damage itself. But those values are..odd. TF hits for 560 (30ish% higher than MB)..and yet the toxic proc is the same. EXACTLY the same. That seems to suggest the damage is capped (which I guess makes sense, ignoring buffs and enhancements?) You hit Shadow Hound with your Bone Smasher for 182 points of Smashing damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Bone Smasher for 95.3 points of Energy damage. You hit Shadow Hound with your Offensive Adaptation for 27.56 points of Toxic damage. BS is 227 damage, about half of MB, and doing around half the proc damage. makes sense again. Back to ET. What?! It is doing MORE damage than TF..and yet about half the proc damage?

EAgle's Claw changes: what happened?
Razor Cure replied to Razor Cure's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
awww. I admit, I didn't it made sense..BUT would have been a great change too. I just got my new EM scrapper to 50..(after doing a MA one to 45 recently) and the two sets (pre changes), were very comparable. All ST, one basic aoe, stuns. Now EM has more aoe (that can be leveraged for even more targets), a -regen/special attack (I was looking at this and going..what? I mean, its awesome, but a melee attack doing -regen?), and a MUCH better damage type(s). Dragon's Tail is awesome, and so is the crit bonus from EC..but the rest of the set feels..lacking, especially looking at EM. -
It is OVER 10 mins?? Been ageeeeees since I played regen, but wtf? No power in a powerset should have a 10 min recharge! These. Regen should get resists to every single debuff, representing your body shrugging off (regenerating) hardmful effects quicker than anyone else.

I was looking forward to this change, and totally missed any feedback on it. What happened?

The Graveyard Shift- EBs near-impossible to solo
Razor Cure replied to Lithobraker's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
haven't retried it post changes, but awesome too see you are watching the feedback and adjusting things, Piecemeal! -
The Graveyard Shift- EBs near-impossible to solo
Razor Cure replied to Lithobraker's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Let's be honest. A good portion of people do NOT play at +4 and 8, or want harder content. Also, the arc is level 25ish, so unless you have a 50 full of attuned IOs, your power level is hardly gonna be that far above what is normal at that level. -

Razor Cure replied to Lithobraker's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I duo'd it with my scrappa and a friends Rad corr. We didnt die, during the fight, but it WAS pretty crazy. Especially the first time he clones himself (like 20 times) and you see a billion mental blasts coming in. Also..NO xp at all for all those clones? If something gives zero xp, it should have zero change to kill or damage you. I may have skimmed the mission text, but a warning about the Cortex fight would be nice for some people? Given that Cortex is NOT the last fight, the actual final mission felt like a bit of an anti climax to us. -
Always? Cause I have it unlocked on one alt..who 100% has never been to Echo. lol God and Echo FL doesnt have vidiot maps. Can we not just have a P2W auto unlock for EVERY LRTP zone? Especially PD. Like I want to spend 50 hours there, over all my alts.
-
Does anyone know which badge/s actually unlock Faultine, for the LRTP? Done it on THREE alts now, each with LRTP unlocked, getting different badges in FL..and not ONE of them unlocked the zone for the accolade. ANd no, I am not in Echo.

Suggested Fixes for Electric Control on Dominators
Razor Cure replied to oedipus_tex's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
SynOverload..I think it also should have a really high BaseAcc. If you miss that first hit..it does nothing at all, compared to SoC/MC, where a single miss wont 'waste' the power. -
I'd like this on MORE of the Bio Armour stuff. I have a toon who uses Bio as normal (just colored) but the others..I don't want to see it. In particular, offensive adaption, its either too bright, or to dark and obscures my outfit/normal aura effects.

Super Strength Proliferation to Scrappers and Stalkers
Razor Cure replied to ironjoe's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Having Rage (as a toggle, like you suggest) seems super silly on a stealthy kinda AT, especially since every other melee set stalkers get comes with vanilla Build Up. -
Scrapper Energy melee power order and 'lack' of combos
Razor Cure replied to Razor Cure's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
So? Its ALSO a set that just got changed and looked at. Doesn't mean it couldnt use other tweaks. -
Scrapper Energy melee power order and 'lack' of combos
Razor Cure replied to Razor Cure's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Very true. And I hate it as well. I reckon the damage buff should be normalised on all of those combo BU powers too. -
I tested the new Energy melee on the beta server, and found it is now awesome! But..I used the automagic boosts to get right to 50, before testing. Now the update is Live, and I am playing a scrapper up, I did notice a lack of combos in the early game. Scrappers get Total Focus at 26..so for half the game (sorta), you have NO way to actually take advantage of the combo buffs to PC and EP. That just feels wrong, and a bit sad to me, as every other set with combos (TW, StJ, WB) can at least get one 'special' effect going by level 10 or earlier. Dual Blades is different of course, and I cant recall when the earliest combo is possible for that set. I get why TF comes in at 26, as it is your second best attack, and if it was moved down the order..what would go at 26? Part of the issue is COnfront being shitty (how many scrappers take it, from the data mining?) and using up a low level power pick (which is silly, cause a lowbie scrapper wants to kill things..but makes even less sense if confront was moved to 26). With Scrappers being the 'incomparable' (according to the AT desc) melee, not being able to actually use the defining mechanic of a set, until 26 just feels wrong. How about giving BuildUp the 'energy stored; buff, so scrappers can at least use EP or PC with the extra effects?

No. We didn't. Past Tense. Cause of the base TP. I saw up thread someone got ALL the LRT badges unlocked on a level 1 toon, in 90 mins. Granted, he wasnt trying to rush it. But at LEAST 30 mins, per alt? As people have said, if they are not a badge hunter, this is just awful. Over a year we had it. A YEAR. Ok, ok, you didnt want to stop people having easy access to other bases but..why couldn't have you 'black stamped' and removed the exploit within a WEEK and simply told people to access bases the usual way. Pretty sure more people were using the Base TP to get around annoying and drawn out content, than to check out random bases. Or simple create a Dev-Base per server with All the tps, that everyone had access to from level one. Rest of the issue seems totally awesome but this change? I really dont wanna do numi or citadel ever again (more than usual).
-
So wait, you are in a situation VS a super powerful bad guy..and YOU want the ability to hit them..100% of the time? Yeah, that makes sense. Why shouldn't you be able to always hit something so powerful.
-
I also HATE how Pets can magically target spawning enemies waaaay before you can (even with spamming Tab). If you dont have pets, it can lead to you basically never getting to attack (unless it is a pbaoe) for the whole time.
-
Because super heroes miss. Duh. Hard concept. Or maybe it is missing due to 'extra' factors. Obviously these are unseen, but HOW hard is it to think of a miss as the bad guy dodging, your hand slipping, a gust of wind, a team mate blocking line of sight? Missing at the to hit cap just means..it is a miss. Which CAN happen due to the cap being 95%. Since auto hitting, again, is a really silly idea.
-
Way to pull your own meaning from what I said. Especially since your first post was basically "I cant handle missing, FIX it now, wah.' Key word Sir 'certain aspects'..you know, the difference between auto hitting everything and team mates hitting you with their own (auto hit) aoes. Yeah, right. A;most like people have different ideas about what is fun. I mean, Vanden never wants to miss, cause that is 'fun.' How about we just hand out Incarnates at level 1? That way we can always be super powerful!
