  1. I have a first draft of my blaster for your consideration. I didn't want to focus too much on any one things and gimp myself in other areas, though I may have done so anyways. Its not soft capped, and I didn't really want to use hasten on every character I create. I figure if things are moving and attacking slow for less damage while falling down, my relative defense is far greater than the numbers.   2. I like the pairing so far of fire's single target and AoE with the safety that /ice gives me.
  3. I have lead people out with a stalker and full stealth. It was a Praetorian mission if that matters.

  6. It amazes me that certain groups will demand that all other accept them in their social circles, but at the same time demand a special place where they can exclude all others. Thats kind of like a vegan demanding you cater to their eating habits if yu want them to come over and eat, but refuse to do the same for you if you eat at their place. Equality is nobody has a place they can exclude others or everybody has one.
  7. I would love to see what you can do with a fire/ice build.
  8. When you start a new profile for a character, create a folder for that character in the profile folder.(I keep the folder name short) and then point the path to that folder. It usually defaults to C:\coh\profile. Cick the speed on demand button to set your keybinds and make sure you click the box to activate it. Save you profile in the character folder you created. Then generate the bind files and copy the path it gives you and paste it in chat while logged into that character.
  9. Importing the data chunk from a forum post seems to be broken on mine, though the link does work.
  10. Howling Twilight shows as a 3 minute recharge. (3x60)/5=36 seconds. I am really tempted to level yet another character into the low 20s to join my other alts. Though I am not sure between necro and demons. With demons, I would have to find their sound file and change it.

  12. There is a windows mod that gives you a custom macro window that shows up for every character. You only have to make the macro once, then all characters will have it.
  13. I went with time/sonic. I am having a bit of trouble fitting everything in. As far as I can tell there is no skipable powers for either like there is with kinetics.   14. The long answer is yes. You can either replace that sound with another sound file or replace it with a silenced sound file. You fist have to find out which sound file it is and which folder tree it lies in. You then create that folder tree and put your new sound in it.   16. Is it based on power activation or power effect IE.. damage? Like there is a chance to heal proc and would it ve better in a single target power or AoE power?
  17. You might be able to get it with merits.
  18. As long as one of your oft used prompts triggers auto-hasten you should be able to mix in all sorts of powers just using the auto bind. You'll just miss perfect hasten once in a while if you leave off with the wrong auto. Otherwise try replacing the toggle command with a powexec_name command and it will attempt to fire the power right away. Though that should have the downside of triggering the womp-womp noise every time you move. Pairing it with another power activation probably won't work though, I believe the system just goes with the last command in that case (see all the travel power binds). I use the Speed on Demand binds from City Binder, so I would have to set any auto powers to my attack chain. I am hoping this eorks better than my first attempt at doing so.
  19. I am curious as to what sets you are using to get permadom without hasten.
  20. Is there a way to use this without the auto toggle? Say I want to keep hasten on auto, but have the others fire off while in combat when I fire my attacks?
  21. Thanks. I am leaning towards sonic since I never actually played it since it was in the original beta. Which would be better with /sonic, time or kinetics?
  22. I am getting ready to make a defender and I was originally going with Beam Rifle, but the lack of AoE is concerning. I was looking at sonic and with Howl followed by Shockwave with the Kb to KD in it would be great for handling groups. Also the -res with each attack would help me and any teammates. Either way I am having trouble deciding how to shoehorn in all the powers for either build. Right now I am off to find a video of the sonic attack to see if it annoys me.

  24. I have been thinking about a controller with this power set. I am going to go out on a limb here and ask... How would this even solo? As for the extra slots, you could look at putting one in hasten in case of recharge debuffs make you loose perma..
